Willoughby Lake Store

Fantastic little country store carrying most everything you need for your stay at the lake. Full grocery, truly magnificent coffee, very good quality deli, petrol and even fishing bait and supplies! Also a nice gift shop with clothing in back! Highly recommend! Super friendly staff!

I am posting a multi year review

I have been visiting Lake willoughby ever since I was a little kid. Over the course of that time I have watched this store change hands multiple times. The current store owners are by far the best in the 30 years I have been coming up, hands down.

Everyone I have spoken to has been nice.
Every morning coffee and pastries are stocked and ready.
They have a fantastic craft beer selection, a decent wine selection and a nice liquor section. They do breakfast and lunch sandwiches, they have Giffords ice cream that they try to keep in stock. And one of the nicer things they do that other stored didn't was keep a decent clothing selection in their souvenir room. They do a great job trying to tailor to the summer visitors and they also try to take care of their local regulars. They stock fishing supplies, and try to keep in some of the every day needed foods, (like water, milk eggs, snacks) and toiletries.

Great place. I hope it stays around for a long time.

I love this store and having been going there for years. The staff is particularly friendly. Always have a smile or a nice word to say. It is popular and sometimes can have a line, but it is well worth it. Van't say it enough, GREAT STORE!

Gigi and amanda were amazing. We had the best breakfast sandwiches before setting on a hike and appreciated the inside trail info shared to get us in the right place!!

Such a small yet amazing gem. Along the crystal coast of Lake Willoughby and open to locals and tourists alike, you can enjoy a fresh breakfast sandwich or search authentic VT treasures.

Great steak and cheese with good selection of other snacks and drinks. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast this morning, and Cindy made us the best burritos we've ever had - cooked to order.

Wonderful place! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Big menu of hot cooked food and cold drinks... I got the poutine with chicken and it was delicious, plus it was nice being able to sit next to a stream on the picnic tables out back and eat my lunch. They also have lots of local beverages and maple products. Be sure to stop in here anytime you go to Willoughby Lake!

Great store with a good selection of beer and wine and snacks. Great breakfast sandwiches, subs and pizza too. Almost anything you could need while you're at Willoughby, including gas!

Most of the time, there's ice cream (soft and hard) on the side and on the weekends in the summer, there a beer window with occasional live music.

Very friendly, helpful staff. They go out of their way to help the customer. The deli is fantastic. I ordered an Italian sub and it was delicious--and huge! Also an excellent and interesting selection of wines and craft beers.

We love everything about the WLS and depend on it for just about everything when we are staying in the area. Great selection, food, beverages, and local and homemade products. Wish there were more sweatshirts and long sleeve T’s. See you again soon! Thanks.

Absolutely perfect little store with a nice lunch counter and lots of yummy choices . The staff are very friendly and helpful and the store has everything from fishing bait to souvenirs to cleaning products and coffee . And they have the best ice cream around !

I love this country store everyone is like family here Tyleigh was very accommodating they did not have any decaffeinated coffee brew and she open up a bag and Brewed the coffee she's so sweet also the cook April was friendly I give this place 10 stars but I can only give 5

My friends and i discovered this wonderful little jewel today. The steak sandwiches were fantastic then ee fou d the wine then the alcohol then the fishing gear then the hats. $300 later..... well its just great!

Quintessential lake living in Vermont. Fun VT products and the Deli serves up a delish breakfast sandwich for sure!!

This is the sole local convenience store for denizens of Lake Willoughby. The clerks are super pleasant, even at 7am, the coffee very good andd prices are reasonable. Phone Service and internet connections in this area are bad and they provide it at no cost

The food is delicious. The owners & employees: so friendly. If you drink booze... you'll be shocked at the beer/cider selection!!
