One year ago I had a total shoulder replacement surgery. It could not have gone any better. I have been pain free and have freedom of movement in my shoulder. Dr Ramsey was caring and listened to what I said and answered any questions I had. I had complete confidence in him and after surgery I knew I made the right decision in choosing him for my care. His staff was outstanding and made sure I was taken care of during the whole process.

The entire office is well run and everyone is so pleasant. Dr. Ramsey did a great job on my shoulder replacement. I feel so much better. I definitely recommend him for anyone who is having problems with their shoulders!

Dr. Ramsey was great and I can't recommend him enough. His staff and he were exceptional from the day of surgery until I returned to work with no restrictions. He knows what he's doing and answered every single question I asked. Trust me, I had a lot of questions. He also helped me set realistic expectations to return to olympic weightlifting again. Thanks again Dr. Ramsey!!

Dr Ramsey is the absolute best. Total replacement of my left shoulder and now I have full rotation with no pain. He is absolutely the best. If you have a shoulder problem do yourself a favor and see Dr Ramsey. One year out today and I feel great at 70 years old.

Dr. Ramsey has the best bedside manner of any doctor I’ve ever met. He has compassion and he will not operate, unless he feels you and your body are ready.
He doesn’t tell you what you want to hear, he tells you what you need to hear.
Pretty sure any doctor is not prepared for a patient with as many complications as me, but he has treated me with nothing except for warmth and compassion.
When I start thinking hope is lost….I have Dr. Ramsey (shoulder/elbow)in my ear and Dr. Abraham (amputee doc).
Ultimately, Dr. Ramsey is amazing! He is the only doctor I would have shoulder/elbow surgery with w/o hesitation.
Dr. Ramsey was highly recommended to me from my excellent home nurse “Chris” after a long stay in Bryn Mawr Rehab.

Dr Ramsey is personable, professional and clearly an advocate for his patients. I highly recommend him.

Dr Matt Ramsey was terrific! He explained my situation clearly and thoroughly. Patiently answered all my questions and did not pressure me into getting surgery before absolutely necessary. His PA Thomas Kitzinger and nurse Tracy were a pleasure to deal with as well!

Dr Ramsey has replaced both of my shoulders. The results have been better than I was hoping for. I no longer wake up at night from pain, I can golf, and I can throw baseball and football with my grandkids. The shoulder replacements by Dr Ramsey have given me a big part of my life back.
One of the key things I like about Dr Ramsey is that he listens and cares about your individual issue. And he tells you exactly what is wrong or happening, and provides you with a plan of action.
The facilities for the operation are great.
Dr Ramsey's staff is awesome as well.

Dr. Ramsey and all the staff at Rothman in Limerick are very professional and courteous to patients. Dr. Ramsey’s rapport is excellent in that he is honestly concerned about his patients and spends enough time to answer questions and meet their concerns. His surgical expertise is evident in the recovery of my shoulder as well as the comments by the staff who worked with him the day of my surgery. I have and will continue to recommend him to others.

Ten years ago my orthopedist recommended Dr. Ramsey to clear a bone infection from a previous shoulder replacement. He told me that Dr. Ramsey is the only physician he would trust to have the ability and knowledge to help me. Ten years later, I couldn't agree more. Rothman and their doctors are fantastic. Everyone is caring, professional and friendly. My experience with Dr. Ramsey has been phenomenal. Thank you is hardly enough to cover the care that I have received!

I’d recommend Rothman and Dr Ramsey for shoulder surgery to anyone. Rothman is efficient and thorough and Dr Ramsey, besides being a top notch surgeon, has a great personality and bedside manner. He takes his time with you and treats you like an individual person, not just another number in his resume. He and his team (Deborah and Tom) are just great!

My rotator cuff surgery was done perfectly and though full gain of function is taking way longer than I would like (I was warned about this), I would not hesitate to get this surgery again. At least the pain is gone and I believe keeping up with rehab will get me back to normal by the year they say it can take. And believe them when they tell you it can take that long. There are no miracles or shortcuts with rotator cuff surgery.

Dr. Ramsey and his team have been doing a great job with me from the first office visit through surgery and now to the healing. He did a total reverse shoulder replacement. I am telling everyone who will listen just how happy l am with the results. Recommending the team to everyone. Great overall experience from start to finish! Very prompt, easy check-in as well as friendly. Was called back to room on time, which is a rarity, the attendant was friendly and wore a big smile, chatted a bit which was nice and without much delay, Dr. Ramsey came in for rotator cuff MRI appointment.

Dr. Ramsey was very friendly, engaged in casual conversation, listened to my concerns/thoughts and then went on to review test results. He took his time, not rushed, and explained everything in detailed, layman’s terms so I fully understood.

He was not quick to recommend medicines, injections or procedures but rather focused on goals and outcomes that would be better addressed by other means (home rehab/exercise/stretching) and if no progress is made then we would follow up to discuss other options.

Again, highly recommend the practice as well as Dr. Ramsey.

I was very pleased with Rothman’s COVID precautions. I was seen in less than 10 minutes. Dr Ramsey made me feel very comfortable and addressed all my concerns. I also was impressed by Tracey his nurse , who was able to get approval for a test and find Imaging centers by me to do the test. I had a very favorable experience with Rothman but I have been a patient for 20 years and am always pleased with the professionalism of the staff. They do an excellent job!

Dr. Ramsey is a fantastic surgeon. He explains everything and puts you at ease from the moment you see him. He is always encouraging. I would highly recommend him to anyone for anyone with a shoulder problem.
