Frosty Hollow Bed & Breakfast

We had a wonderful time at Frosty Hollow B&B. The room was very nice and breakfast was delicious. We were hoping to see some stars but the weather did not cooperate. We plan to come back in the spring/summer and hope to get to stay here again! Highly recommend.

I came here to celebrate 30 years of life & fell in love in this galaxy kissed getaway! The farm is embedded in the wilderness and the night view of the milky way is perfect. This little escape is only a short 13 minute drive to Cherry Springs state park. I just don’t want to leave!

I will be returning with my pups to escape city life once more. Highly recommend for solo and family trips. Super dog friendly and the resident Corgis are so cuddly! The owners, Joe, Donell and staff have been such A1 hosts. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

This was the last destination for our 3 day trip and the stay here itself was the most wonderful part of our entire trip. We stayed in barn house, awesome decor, enriched with history and emotion, each and every item in the room was talking about the history of the place in itself.

I have never written a Google review prior to this, and I generally use my account for business purposes, but I had to break that trend and let everyone know what a wonderful place Frosty Hollow is.

A beautiful farm in the middle of Potter County, known as God's Country USA, the setting could not be more serene. The farmhouse sits in a large field and houses the cozy Mulberry Room where I stayed as well as other rooms. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was more than adequate. The farmhouse also has a common area where you can meet and mingle with other guests, cook your own meals, or just lounge around.

There are more rooms in the barn down the drive, as well as in a cottage on the property. Breakfast is served downstairs in the barn and is delicious and homemade. There is a mercantile downstairs as well.

The Ayers's were a wonderful host family and truly try to make you feel right at home while you are on their beautiful property. They will gladly recommend activities in God's Country for you and your family. Their friendliness rivals the southern hospitality that you would never expect to find up north.

There are plenty of beautiful state parks to hike, view wildlife, or stargaze very close to the farm. Or you can choose to just lay back and enjoy the beautiful property. For the first time in a very long time, my type A personality was perfectly content with doing nothing but enjoying the beautiful environs of Potter County.

If I had to gripe about anything, it would be that the thin walls do make it somewhat easy to hear people talking in other rooms, but this is such a minor inconvenience compared to all of the wonderful qualities this place has.

For me, this was only the first of many visits to Frosty Hollow. I look forward to returning to this property and to God's Country USA many many times in the future. Highly recommended to anyone.

We had a lovely time at the Little Dipper Lodge. It sleeps 10 (for an extra cost but initial price does include 4 adults and children under 10)
The space and location were top notch. Perfect spot for stargazing. Our family felt safe and comfortable. The game room on the third floor was a great addition for the kiddos. They even have lawn games for your use as well! Beds were super and the kitchen was fun to cook dinners with the family.

The staff and owners at Frosty Hollow always go above and beyond. We highly recommend spending a little time with them .

This was a lovely B&B with clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was very good. The property was well landscaped and had a nice view. Some points of interest were a bit of a drive, but that's to be expected given the location. We would definitely come here again!

Absolutely beautiful place! Our room in the farmhouse was very clean, pretty, and comfortable. Breakfast was homecooked and delicious. I'm sorry we stayed only one night. And one of the owners' Corgis stopped in to say goodbye!

This is a beautiful place to stay. Nestled in a valley surrounded by beautiful mountains. The accommodations are very clean and comfortable. The staff is excellent, hospitable and friendly. The complimentary breakfast is delicious! This family has the best culinary gifts! I would highly recommend this place of serenity.

A wonderful place in a great location. Roseberry room was Large, quiet, and peaceful. Breakfast was great. There's a nice touch of new technology in an old country setting. Contactless check in and out worked well. Direct TV and Wifi if you wish.

Amazing place!! I felt at home with the room and the fact that we had a kitchen we can all use was a really good idea coffee Amazing! All the games that are available to play. The room we stayed at was the Cranberry #4 really gorgeous set up from the bed to the frames! To the bathroom I really enjoyed it, though I would recomend another layer of curtains just cuss I felt like people could look through when using the restroom as well as the one in the bedroom. Also the light outside the house is red, and it kinda looks spooky so I would recommend a different color.
Location there weren't many attractions. Over all amazing.

My family stayed at the Big Dipper Lodge and had a fabulous time! The home was well stocked—from kitchen appliances to games for the the kids. The beds were comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great. The whole family enjoyed s'mores every night by the outdoor gazebo with fireplace. And, everything was so cozy and clean! We didn't have to go to Cherry Springs Park for star gazing. I was easily able to bring my scope out to their front yard. The red lights on the porch was a perfect touch for stargazers! We will definitely be back next year! ✨🌙

What a cool place! A great stop on our PA road trip! We spent two nights at the Frosty Hollow and enjoyed our stay very much. The farmhouse is very comfortable and we loved the screened-in wrap-around porch. A nice stay!

Our first time in this area. Even though the weather didn't cooperate we had a great weekend! Room was clean and spacious. Very quiet! Will come back again!

Gave us a room at about 8pm at night when we were looking for a place to stay, very good service and a beautiful area, love the creek running underneath the bridge at the farmhouse. Reasonable gift shop, lovely barn and breakfast was amazing! Definitely true to it's good reviews and high star rating:)

What an adorable little spot. We picked it to be close to Cherry Springs park to catch the night sky and the meteor shower, and while we were disappointed the night was overcast, it was ok because our room was cute, breakfast was amazing, and it's close enough to a sweet little town to still make a lovely trip. Also extra thanks for mailing home the forgotten phone charger.

As a family of four living in the south, we don't have many opportunities for snow. We came to Frosty Hollow with a snow wish and it was granted! The property has an awesome sledding hill and provided sleds. The kids had never sledded before and I hadn't in decades - it was a blast!

We stayed in Roseberry Loft Room #9 and it was the perfect size for us. The beds were comfortable and the view out our loft window was wonderful. The fully-equipped kitchen served us well. The property owner Gail Ayers antiques, and I admired many pieces that she has curated over the years during our stay, both in the room and in the common areas. Breakfast in the mornings was made wonderfully with gluten-free options for me that were out-of-the-world tasty! The property has a wonderful history and the family is happy to chat, so it was a great balance of privacy and sociability.

We will definitely come again! Highly recommend.

We stayed at the Little Dipper - cottage - on 8/16 and 8/17. Wonderful place to stay with a group! 1/2 mile from the General Store - 1/2 mile from Cherry Springs State Park! We walked. Unfortunately the weather was cloudy and rainy so we missed the stars this time but would definitely come back! We didn't notice when we booked that it wasn't at the Frosty Hollow B & B so we ended up bringing/making our own breakfasts! Missed that wonderful breakfast, but other than that, the place was wonderful! Kitchen is well equipped, and bedrooms were great - plus rear deck and firepit in the yard. We were on motorcycles, 3 on 2 wheels and 2 on trikes, so the travelers on 2 wheels had to be careful pulling in but no problems encountered.

Absolutely recommended if you're going to stargaze. They even set up red lights to help with the view from their property. Beautiful and homey atmosphere with a delicious breakfast included in each nights stay. We will be coming back. Picture from last evening there
