A gem - enjoyed a contemplative family walk amongst the art. The landscape is a superb gallery for David's sculptures.

We visited while in the area at the recommendation of our in-laws, who recently relocated to Vermont. We enjoyed exploring the park with our children. Both the sculptures and the views are well worth the visit! David is an extremely thoughtful artist who creates intentional and whimsical large scale art. We enjoyed our conversation with Sarah, and she provided perfect directions for us to experience our first maple creemees after we left!

Amazing experience and sculptures. Good for all ages. To see the entire field of items prepare for at least 90 minutes going at a steady pace. Prepare for 3 hours if you go slowly. Wear comfortable shoes as you will walk through a field continually.

Must see this American treasure of a wonderful sculpture park. It's not Storm King yet, but it is rapidly becoming as good, maybe even a better overall setting and world class. IMO David Stromeyer is one of the best all time modern sculptors. The setting is wonderful. Easily by far worth the trip up to Northern Vermont. Ten stars for sure.

Beautiful hidden gem. Fantastic property and a variety of sculptures with movement, texture, and inspired color. Stop by the welcome shack to receive a wonderful booklet with information on each piece. Make sure to give a donation as there is no entrance fee and the friendly staff is volunteer.

The fall foliage in the background was perfect to view these sculptures in the expansive meadows. Highly recommend a visit.

An incredible display of art in the foot hills of the Green Mountains. Stopped in with the fam to explore, and it was amazing. We'll definitely be back to share with friends.

The setting is gorgeous! Well worth the drive to get there. David Stromeyer's large metal sculptures are magnificent, especially in a setting where you can view them from many different angles, distances and in different natural light. I was there on a day when there was a special presentation on ethnomusicology by an Ugandan music professor from Middlebury College. The talk was very interesting and entertaining with lots of audience participation. You shouldn't miss this adventure and admission is free!

Best Kept Secret in the Burlington Area

A short drive north from Burlington, Vt down scenic roads and past St Albans lies the Cold Hollow Sculpture Park with art created by David Stromeyer. Well worth the journey to enjoy bold, large, dynamic sculptures at one with nature. Fluid lines, bright colors and metal glistening on a mountain top.

The park is free, open in the summer and fall from June to October. And every month they offer an art talk hosted by the David, Sarah and volunteers.

Cold Hollow Sculpture Park is a beautiful 200 hundred acre site that displays selections from 40 years of David's work, including new works right out of the studio. The park offers an admission-free, dynamic, immersive art experience with self guided tours from Noon - 6 PM, Thursday - Sunday and holidays. The Park also hosts a number of special events over the course of the summer. Visit will be enjoyable, very rewarding, and refreshingly amazing.

We stumbled on this gem even though we have been coming to Northwest VT for years. Right outside Enosburg Falls. The artist wife was extremely friendly and informative. A beautiful walk among giant teal sculptures. A rememberable afternoon. You can’t believe you are in the middle of Vermont. Go!

What a beautiful blessing to have right near my home. If I lived far away it would be worth the drive. I plan to go back over and over so I can take my time enjoying each sculpture on this wonderful piece of land.
