Cedar River Campground

I love it here for so many reasons. People become like family helping each other, sharing meals together, cards, horseshoes, a pool, barrel rides for the kids and I love hearing them scream with joy!

We have a permanent site there at the campground. And it's really enjoyable. People are great, Melissa and her crew are great. I would recommend it to anybody.

kids loved this place (10 & 16 yrs old), many activities even for adults, comfortable laid back area, no complaints whatsoever.

We love this place! Thus was our 3rd year as seasonal campers. Owners are attentive and if you need something, they are there to help. When the storms hit the grounds, they were on it! Gathered assistance and cleaned up quickly! This the place to be! Join us! You won't regret it!

I've been here for 5 years. Its my summer home and i stay 24/7. Our new owners have made such a difference. They have worked so hard cleaning up this campground and it's going to continue to get even better. It's like a small community, you can partake in all the activities or just enjoy your site and peacefulness. There is not a place I would rather be!

I just went to hang out with my niece there but the pool is very nice they look like they were having horseshoe tournaments so that looked fun but other than right inside there I didn't go much further so I don't have too much to offer as in what they have the amenities and such. But from what I did see I'll definitely be back

Me & the family came out to CR CG for the first time. We are new to trailer camping and quickly learned with help from other guest but more importantly the staff. They were quick to help as well. Loved the experience and booked again!

New owners Rock, are Very accomadating. They are always around and easy to find when or if you have ANY questions. They have really made this place so much better and family friendly then last year. So many things for kids to do now.
The campground is clean and has a pool. We spend most of our days at the pool. We have a permanent spot out here. We are so so thankful for all the hard work the new owners put in for us to truly have a home away from home.

I love the family atmosphere, I haven't been back here since I was a teenager and they've expanded so much and added so much for the kids. Definitely a go to if you're into camping and family time! 😊🥰 We went down to visit family for the 4th of July and enjoyed some fireworks. Which were pretty great! We had front row seating.

Highly Recommend this Campground! First year here but I am so impressed! The Pool is amazing and I love the Camping Spots! The owner is kind and takes great care of the campground! I love Cruising around in the Golf Cart and the Campers are also so Kind! My Family has came out here for years! Plus the kids are kind and inclusive.

We absolutely live it! We feel safe and feel as though our special needs child can also play safely and is excepted to all youth activities! The pool,mini golf and dog park are all great! Our son loved the hayraxk ride and barrel wagon ride!! amazing hosts! We will be back!

Nice place well taken care of. The caretakers are extremely nice and accommodating. I travel all over the U.S. for work and this is the first time ever a caretaker helped me set up my camper. Pretty cool! It's about a 2 minute walk to the river they have many amenities and its a pretty cool community.

Numerous activities for all ages, from relaxing by the inground pool, to enjoying mini golf, a tournament of bags, horse shoes, and even a game of volleyball. There is a basketball court, a game room, and a small snack shack if you get the munchies or just need something to drink. You can end your day with a quiet walk along the river front at sunset. Make sure to bring your fur babies so they can run and play in the large fenced-in doggie park. We had a great time can't wait to go again.

The new owners have really fixed up the place, it’s a work in progress for sure but it’s improved so much since they first bought it. They work to keep out the drama which makes the season very enjoyable! There’s a large array of amenities offered for anyone staying at the campground– pool, playground, billiards, darts, horseshoes, etc. They have a snack bar in the pool house as well as a mobile bar. There is a schedule of great family friendly activities on the weekends, including horseshoe tournaments, bingo, karaoke, barrel trains and more! Holiday weekends are especially exciting with special activities and events, like fireworks for the 4th of July! If you’re looking for a fun, family oriented camping experience, this is the place to go!

My family and I have been coming here for years. Its overall a really nice campground. The nearest bathroom is always filled with bugs but who cares... You camping right? The shower is walkable from any camper which is perfect for a quick shower and exercise. The owners are really nice when you show up with any questions at any point of time in the day. We are coming back in 3 days and eish we would never have to leave.

Love coming out here. Everyone is so friendly. They seem to have something going on for the kids as well as the adults. The pool and put put golf is always clean and a blast. My grandkids enjoy coming camping here. Great memories being made.
