Atalissa Trucking

Atalissa Trucking went more than out of their way to help my recently graduated son with a flat tire along busy Interstate 80. Brian filled an air tank, drove to where my son had his flat tire, helped him get on the road again and wouldn't take NOTHING for his troubles. Just told my son Good Luck with the new job. We need more people like Brian and companies like Atalissa Trucking in this world.

I drive pilot car for OVERSIZE LOADS and was contacted by Misty from this company to work with 1 of their drivers, Jerry, in September, 2022 for 3 days and 1,028 miles. She assured me I'd be paid within 20 days from the job date. I did the job. No money came. After 30 days I questioned where my money was and Misty emailed me that the bookkeeper was sending a check on Friday. No check came. At 40 days out from the job I questioned WHAT FRIDAY was my check sent. It wasn't. Bill Banta emailed me that he's had a bad month. Yep, me too because I trusted this company. He says he'll pay half this week and the rest in a couple weeks. I will change this review IF I get paid but until then DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY to pay their bills.
UPDATE: Only after contacting the Iowa State Attorney's Office and filing a Theft of Services complaint with them did I get a response from the owner of Atalissa and was paid via a COMDATA check, more than 90 days after their promise of payment, with a slight compensation for late fees, certainly not the amount they owed me in late fees but I am happy to be done with Bill Banta and Atalissa Trucking.
