This place is awesome! I did my Multi, and my initial flight instructor. They are upfront from the get go, they tell you how much it’ll cost and how long they think it will take. They also get you a check ride sooner than most other places. I had Collier, Mike, and Johnny as my instructors. They were all great and very helpful, I stayed at the accommodation on the premises, it was clean, and they had a full kitchen and washer dryer that I had unlimited access too. I was able to take advantage of the instructors that were staying there and I could ask questions whenever. Very welcoming! I was able to pass all my rides no problem, they were very supportive and encouraged me to go get it.

I had a great experience! Justin Dyson was a great instructor! I was able to get my IFR rating in 2 1/2 weeks but I wasn’t in a rush. You are able to do it in the time advertised but you have to really work as is the case with all accelerated programs. The staff were helpful and accommodating, even scheduled to fly twice a day when I was ready to grind. The atmosphere of everyone solely focus on flying is great and perfect for learning. Everyone I was there with was willing to help others out when they had a question or didn’t understand something. The planes are good for training because all the instruments work and as far as the cosmetic parts I’ve seen worse. Weather and maintenance are two things can’t predict or control in aviation but when I was there I didn’t have too much of either. I will definitely be coming back to finish my commercial and maybe more!

Two months ago I woke up and decided I wanted to learn how to fly. I was looking around at other schools and comparing my options and stumbled upon Pray Aviation. My first flight I was hooked, I remember continuously looking over at Johnny (one of the instructors) and saying this is amazing numerous times and I’m sure he was tired of me saying it but it truly was a feeling I could not describe. I continued on full steam ahead with my main instructor Collier. I was flying almost every day, and I practically lived at the flight school. I could approach any of my instructors at anytime even if they were busy, and just talk about anything that would benefit me in getting my license. The way Pray is structured is exactly the way it should be, I would show up, be given subject matter to study, and then put in the work on my own and have the instructors available for guidance if I was stuck. The ground sessions I had were always in depth, and I could tell the instructors were there for me even when I was struggling. I gathered my hours fast through Pray, and it is crazy to think in just a two month time frame that I am a private pilot. I will be doing all of my ratings through Pray, and I hope this review encourages more students to consider coming here for their flight training.

Took my Part 107 sUAS test here. The facility was very clean, and the staff were top-notch. I would recommend Pray Aviation to anyone looking to test or learn about aviation.

Pray Aviation has been amazing with getting all your fixed-wing ratings as well as being flexible with current military members. The instructors and staff are very professional and fun to be around. Highly recommend for anyone else looking to do the same! Call Jess and inquire for more details! (She’s the G.O.A.T)

Best flight school in the Wichita area, I got my PPL in 2013 and only built 100hrs since then but as soon as I got on with pray aviation in the summer of 2019, I was able to knock out my instrument rating, time build and get my Commercial License in record time. Great instructors and students alike

I went to Pray Aviation to finish up my Instrument and Commercial ratings. Overall great experience. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Justin Dyson was my instructor for both ratings and did a phenomenal job.

Trained here for my Private Pilot and had an awesome experience. The pricing was well worth the value, the team was great and the planes were well kept. I'll be back again for Insturment.

Great facilities with on site accommodation, dedicated instructors and awesome admin staff. Only bad is the aircraft is a little too old but they are making the effort to bring in new aircraft so things gonna get better moving forward.

I did not have a good experience at pray. If you want to know why read on. I just want to say that I did get what I went there for. I went there for the accelerated instrument training. I really liked the whole concept for the accelerated program and that they provided the airplane and the instructor. The websight says 10-14 days for the instrument program. This is like the absolute best case scenereo. One of the guys there was there for like 2 months or something just for his instrument. They said that some of this was because of weather. And I get that.
When I got there. I learned from a few other students that the instructors were stretched pretty thin. They only had two CFII and one was pretty much booked with multi training. I was under the impression that I would kind of have one instructor kind of assigned to me. The instructor that I did all of my training under did the best he could. He was also in the middle of trying to get his multi so that he could train people. So he was super busy through this whole process as well. He also had two other instrument students he was working to get checked out as well.
Then we have the airplanes. The airplane that I did pretty much all the training in, was by far the best airplane they have. Some people may not care too much. But it was filthy. We also had an electrical failure in the dark. Which kind of scared us all. But they fixed it and we moved on. Because of my family business, time was defenitely on my mind.
The other airplanes that I did my time building in were horrible. Most of them the heaters didn’t work. Which means in February, we stinking froze! It’s really hard to train on the instruments when your freezing.
The scheduling sucked as well. With weather this is somewhat difficult.
But I thought it would have been great to know a little bit of the game plan for the week. Maybe a meeting on Monday morning or something. But there wasn’t much of anything. Nothing.
I was there for 2 weeks. I can’t believe I actually got it done in that time. Thanks to the other students who helped me study like crazy. I owe so much to the students! They helped like crazy.

I’m super happy to have my rating. But this was not that great of an experience. And everyone that I talked to felt the same way that I did.
I know of at least 3 people that came and left while I was there. They left because they were told they would get something, and it wasn’t happening. There were several people that were there for their multi for like 3 months and the airplanes kept breaking down. The airplanes are not in good condition.
I want this business to work. It’s such a good idea. But it definitely needs some improvement before I reccomend it.

I usually don’t leave poor reviews for small companies, however, I believe Pray Aviation deserves it. The plane I went up in was dirty and in poor condition. I have been hassled by them for payment, although my records show I paid. I even confirmed payment with my bank. I will say, the CFI seemed fine and he gave me a longer flight than I paid for. You get what you pay, but I wouldn’t recommend them.
