Hidden Meadows

Great place to disconnect from everyday life!
The cabin was clean and the owners were very friendly. The location was near plenty of attractions for family fun! The Black River was crystal clear and great for floating with our young children. We would definitely go back!

We have been to The Meadows several times and absolutely love it. So peaceful and serene. Tina and Hank make everything so easy for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.

Great country location! Peaceful. Very close to the Black River and Johnson Shut-Ins. Not that far from Taum Suak either. 4 of the cabins are a stones throw away from each other, ideal larger groups or famlies too. Cabin was clean and had what was needed to cook meals. Wifi available. Satellite TV. Hosts were very responsive and available if needed. We plan on returning now that we are more famliar with the area.

This is put third time staying here. We absolutely love Tina and Hank! We cannot speak highly enough about their cabins!

My family and I love coming to the meadows! Tina and Hank are amazing! So quiet and cozy! Private river access.

Absolutely one of my favorites! Tina and Hank are so welcoming and makes you feel at home. Second time here and I will be back!

We got are cabin cancelled at last minute after we have had it reservation for 3 or 4 months ahead and my daughter looked at her PayPal and had are half of the cabin refunded to her she called and asked why said they had water problem they were not even going to call and tell her it was cancelled then she was told that he would call her the next day and if it was an easy fix she could get her cabin but if not then would have to cancel he never called at all she called there several times that day no answer I sent an email no reply so we had to try to find something on short notice we did but was very hard since you have to book months ahead.

The owners Karissa& William were very kind and professional. Will definitely be coming back.

Regardless if he did or did not call you a b****. That doesn’t give you the right to keep our money. Us city folk don’t take it kindly to ppl withholding our money when no services were rendered. I see your racist attitude is as nasty as your cabins. The statement you made was very racist and has already been reported. We were there July 7th, it is now September 13th. You have had plenty time to refund the $334.00 that is owed. Please refund the money so we do not have to take further action.

They have not returned my email. They returned my fiancé’s. Still no refund.

We arrived 7-7-22 to the Fireside cabin. As soon as we walked in we were hit with a strong odor. The bed was absolutely terrible. I didn’t feel comfortable touching the shower curtain. There were only 2 bath towels for 2 ppl for 2 days. We left immediately. Called company to request a refund. I was told to send an email to the company. It has been 2 days and still have not received a response. If I could give this place a negative 0 I would. When I called abt the refund I was asked what was wrong. I wanted to reply with what was right?? Do not waste your time and gas to go there. Also there is a for sale sign on the property.I’m not one to leave a review but this had to be done.

I received an email from the owner William 7 days before our scheduled stay cancelling our Family vacation with no explanation of why. I immediately called him for an explanation of why. He stated that my reservation that had been made 6 months ago was with the previous owners not him. (He called me to confirm and get a deposit 5 months earlier) He was very hesitant to explain and then he just blurted out it is "unforeseen construction" . I explained to him that this has ruined our family vacation and we will not find anywhere else last minute and I will be giving the Meadows a poor review for this. He got angry and said I was threatening him. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for a river vacation. William is lacking major customer service skills and who knows if the Meadows will even be open by the time of your stay.
