My wife and I had a chance to stay with Dakota and Ryan in their beautiful home while on our visit to the Missouri Star Quilt Company stores in Hamilton. Our room was spacious and quiet with a private bath. Breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed meeting and discussing the day with the other visitors. Our favorite part was sitting on the dock alongside their pond and enjoying the sunset and the sounds of nature surrounding us.

This was by far my favorite stay on my road trip from California to St. Louis! The property is gorgeous, I had the best night's sleep in a long time, I played with a dog and some goats, befriended a few chickens, plunged and swam in the cool pond, and soothed all my aches and pains in a much appreciated massage chair.

I just can't say enough about how well run this place is! In addition, it was absolutely delightful to visit with other guests and to have breakfast around a large table in the morning.

The Inn is so inviting, it’s just like being at home. Though at home I wouldn’t get catered to like I did by Dakota and family. I loved being here. The kittens ,ducks and chickens are so darn cute as they roam the yard. Not to mention the gazebo & pond, perfect places for relaxing. I loved falling into the comfy beds after a exciting day of quilt shopping, exploring the Missouri Quilt Museum, taking a quilting class or retreat sewing. Dakota spoiled us with her amazing diverse breakfast. We spent 4 days at the Inn, We never had a repeat breakfast!
Dakota and her boys ...all 5 of them are amazing. Just wait until you meet them. They are all so friendly, the conversations are fun and lively.
I would highly recommend staying at Home Inn Hamilton if you are visiting the quaint town of Hamilton and Missouri Star Quilt.

We stayed here in early August. The B&B is awesome. The room was very nice and the breakfast was great. Dakota really knows how to make you feel at home. We really enjoyed talking with her and her kids while we were there. It is amazing how many things she is involved with in Hamilton. If you like animals you are in for a treat. The place is really calm and peaceful. Just what we needed. We will definitely be back for another visit. You won't find a better place to stay in the Hamilton area. The prices were extremely fair.

Home Inn Hamilton is an amazing place to stay! Dakota and her family are the nicest people you will ever meet. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the two breakfasts we ate there were great. The property is gorgeous and has lots of room to sew. I've already booked my next trip.

The home is absolutely beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Dakota and her family. Her children are charming and very well behaved. My husband loved it so much better than any hotel we've stayed in. He had a great time fishing and visiting with the other folks there. Such a sweet Christian environment. Felt right at home.

Great spot! My wife and I stayed three days, two nights. It was like being a member of the family. Rooms were comfortable, breakfast was really delicious, and hospitality the best. Near to Missouri Star and other quilt shops. Wonderful spot to sit on the porch, overlook the lake, relax in the living room. Just a totally wonderful and warm experience.

I am a quilter and always wanted to visit the Missouri Star Quilting Company. After looking at all the places to stay, I decided on Home Inn Hamilton. It was a wonderful decision. The grounds and rooms were beautiful. Even more beautiful was the Inn Keeper, Dakota, who was always willing to help, and chat with you. Her breakfasts were delicious! I would love to go back and take my daughter.

There aren't a ton of lodging options in tiny Hamilton, MO, so we were so thankful to find Dakota and Home Inn Hamilton! Have stayed in many B&Bs and this is one of the best yet. Super clean, comfortable with one of the friendliest hosts we have ever had. Dakota and her family made us feel right at home. We stayed two nights in the big master suite. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone traveling to the Quilt Capitol of Missouri....Hamilton.

Thanks Dakota!

The Home Inn Hamilton was the highlight of our trip. We were on a 12-day road trip and we love this Inn. This B & B is truly one of the nicest and most friendly we have ever stayed. The home is beautiful, comfortable, updated, and the breakfast is to die for. Our sonis handicap and he managed very well and they were very accommodating. We will definitely return here.

Great bed and breakfast! Breakfast was tasty, nice and approachable hostess. Your own bathroom; Lovely house; huge backyard with 2 ponds, one of which you can paddle-boat or canoe around or fish. Will definitely stay here again!

Had such a great weekend with our family at this cute b&b! Very comfortable accommodations for our family of 5. Our young boys had such a fun time here and are already asking when we can go back! The hosts were great and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and comfortable. I highly recommend this place!

Staying at the carriage house was ideal for our group of five women who love to quilt, shop, and just have fun‼
The accommodations were just what we hoped for, and the location was just outside of town , making it perfect to get back and fourth to MSQC. Dakota went out of her way to make things special for us, and we all agreed that it was just what all of us needed. Thank you Dakota and family!

Hamilton Inn is a beautiful and peaceful place. Rooms were spacious, neat and decorated very quaintly. Ryan and Dakota were perfect hosts with wonderful breakfasts. They make you feel right at home. Their boys pitched in hauling our luggage, showing us around etc. Our group visited the quilting stores one day and then spent time visiting the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints sites nearby (Adam Ondi Ahman, Far West, Nauvoo, Carthage Jail, Liberty Jail, Independance, 3 witnesses monument, etc). What a wonderful, spiritual experience.
One of my favorite activities was the fireflies at night in their front yard. It was amazing. Living on the west coast, I had never seen this before. Loved playing games with the boys. Next time I would like to just stay at the house more and relax. So much extra to do and see at their home.

My husband and three boys wanted to go on a vacation where we could get away from all the hustle and bustle. I was skeptical about this place because we aren't into quilting- unlike most who go here because of the famous quilting shops downtown. We spent 90% of the time (6 days) at the B&B! This place is family and kid paradise. The 15 acres of green beauty, the trees, the pond, the farm animals!! My boys spent hours collecting frogs, feeding the farm animals, and swimming in the pond. While my husband and I loved watching them and playing with them! One of our favorites was when the fireflies came out every night. We are from Washington state, so we have never seen anything like this! We wanted a place to go, reconnect, and relax. Major bonus- the breakfasts are to die for! The hosts were always easy to get a hold of and each room had a private bathroom. I felt so pampered and didn't want to go home! My boys even asked if we could move in haha! We cooked a lot of our own food in their gorgeous kitchen so we could save money and not have to eat out for every meal. A must visit! We did end up checking out the quilting shops, which my husband was skeptical about, until we found the Man Cave! In the shops there is a special large room just for the guys to go hang out while everyone else shops. Pool table, tv's, recliners. It was a big hit with the guys!

A premier bed and breakfast near downtown Hamilton. They also have a large accomodation for quilter groups, with sleepinh quarters and large work areas for groups up to 8. Wonderful family as hosts. Great breakfast as well.
