Absolutely Fabulous Hair Salon

Stylist, Marie S. Did dredlocks in my son's hair. She did a good job. These were starter locks on shoulder length hair. She was patient with him and very kind. As I waited for my son's hair to be done, I observed that the stylists at this salon can do hair. I saw blowouts and styles, natural hair, long hair, short hair, and more all leave out looking good. The aesthetics of the salon are nice, staff appear professional and kind, and they had complimentary cupcakes. Hooray for this place! We will be returning!

I have nothing but good things to say about AFH and their stylist Byron. Byron has help me start and continue my sons loc journey. My son has enough hair for 3 people and every visit Byron takes his time and makes the experience just a pleasure. The first visit we literally closed down the shop because of the amount of hair my son has. But never did we feel rushed or a burden. Byron explained loc maintenance and what we need to do in between visits. So if your in need of a stylist to do your locs don’t hesitate to give Byron a call and tell him Maui sent you. Shampoo girl Aurora is great. The staff is friendly, and they do a great job with styling your hair.

It’s a very comfortable atmosphere and I absolutely loved my (closure) wig install and styling! Even though the closest appointment I could get was the day before my event, my hair looked just as fresh and beautifully styled! Will definitely return in the future.

I have been going to Absolutely Fabulous for around 3 years . My experiences with the hairdressers have been positive. My current hair stylist is Ms Nelly. She cares about your hair and listens to all your concerns . My hair is very healthy, and I and very please with Ms Nelly.

A friend of mine recommended this salon as I needed to find a new stylist. Nelli was my hair stylist and I have to say, she is definitely amazing. From the beginning of the appointment to the end, she helped me understand my help, offered plenty of advice, and was 1000% professional. I felt like my hair was in safe hands. She's very personable and easy to talk to as well. The salon is very well maintained and everything is regulated smoothly. I have definitely become a long term customer. My cousin recommended this hair salon to me and I'm so thankful she did. The atmosphere is very professional and upscale environment,which I value heavily. I've gotten my hair done by Kalieb many times, and I think he is absolutely fabulous at what he does!! He is always very professional, courteous, and most importantly an excellent hair stylist! He is also very attentive to his clients, so you wont be in there for a very long time depending upon your services. I would highly recommend anyone to come to this salon!

Finally found a salon in South Jersey to maintain my platinum blonde pixie! Desiree Washington is my stylist. She is extremely patient and is attentive to my needs. She makes excellent suggestions that have proven to be beneficial to maintaining healthy hair. Super critical especially with bleached hair. Oh an she did my eyebrows too and also rocked that!

Nelli is a master at weave and braids. Show her a picture and she will surpass your expectations. She’s patient and listens well to her clients needs. And she doesn’t forget anything! Highly recommended.

Kalieb is spectacular on the styles. He executes to perfection taking your request and his knowledge to create your perfect style. He takes care of your hair and your hair health. Highly recommend.

Nelli hooked me up as always and provided me with a curly hairstyle, along with a nice wash and trim on my natural hair. I always leave satisfied. She is very professional. The salon itself is also very professional and the employees work together as a unit. Good energy. Amazing hair stylist! Nelli also is an amazing representation of this salon. 100% recommend this salon. My girl Breonah had me coming out the salon feeling like Beyoncé herself! She was very clean, respectful and so professional overall. This was my first time getting these type of braids and I’m so glad that I went to her! Nobody else will be touching my hair again unless it’s her!

I, myself has always been natural all my life. 6 years ago I came to Kalieb with wanting to get my hair healthy and strong. He knew exactly what to do. He has always done a wonderful job! NEVER a disappointment. The establishment always been clean and always treat us customers like family! I always watch other stylist do a wonder job with weaves, braids even down to the barbering. Everyone including myself always walk out a happy and satisfied customer! Highly recommended.

Was desperately trying to find a salon last minute to get my locs, washed and styled 🤦🏾‍♀. Called and was able to get an appointment made by a pleasant receptionist. On entering I was impressed by the cleanliness of the salon.
There was a misunderstanding as to what I needed to be done (I called it something other than what it really is called) my stylist Janice exceeded all my expectations. She was patient, polite and though what I needed wasn't her specialty she asked her colleagues for advice and did a great job. Considering that it was her very first time and was time consuming, at NO time did she make me feel like it was a bother.

Byron, then helped to reattach a loc that I had accidentally broke off and while he wasn't my stylist he didn't hesitate to help.

My overall experience was A+ and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this salon to anyone.

I love this salon!!!! The place is always super clean, comfortable, and the staff r SUPER nice. I’ve had an appointment with Nelli (she’s awesome!). Most recently i got a silk press by Maria and she’s extremely fast and got my hair super silky and straight.

Absolutely Fabulous Hair is the best salon in South Jersey!!!! Sparkle is my stylist and she is amazing she keeps me current and stylish. Her attention to detail is like other stylist I have ever been to. I have color in my hair and and she keeps my hair healthy and vibrant with her specializing in natural hair care!!!! And I have seen her skills with extentions they are on point one day I will surely utilize those services, but for now I am living my short style she has created.. I recommend sparkle to everyone:)

It was my first time going to this salon and I had was nervous at first. Janice did my rod set and I was happy 😊 While I was in her chair, she said her toenail fell off and her foot was hurting. She’s a true professional showing up to work with an injured toe.

When I moved to SJ I needed to find a new salon. After trying a few local "high end" spots with no luck- they could just never get my hair right, it was never cut right, never dried right, etc. -I was referred to Kalieb at AFH by the owner of my gym. That was 6 years ago and no one else has touched my hair since! Their skills are second to none, my hair is always fabulous whether it's color or a new style I want to try. The salon is beautiful and ambience is unlike any other - relaxed, friendly, soothing and a truly pampering experience. Don't even think twice --You will not be disappointed, they always exceed expectations!

I’ve been with my stylist, Kalieb, for over 10 years and he is hands down the best stylist in South Jersey! I travel anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour (if I’m coming from work) to get to him and would travel farther if I had to. He is the only one that I can trust to tame my full, thick head of NATURAL hair and do it fast! I’m a working mom with 3 active young kids and don’t have time to sit in a salon all day but that is never the case here. I’m in and out and back to my busy life in no time! Not to mention everyone in the salon is friendly and has excellent customer service and all the stylists are masters at what they do. I highly recommend Absolutely Fabulous Hair salon for all hair types! You won’t be disappointed!
