It was the last weekend of camping at the ponderosa, so there was minimal staff on site. We had a very pleasant, quiet weekend. We got some firewood from the store before they closed and had hot dogs cooked over an open fire and s'mores later on. I brought my grandchildren left ( now grown right) and three great grandchildren. We rented one of the cabins, which at my age beat sleeping on the ground in a canvas tent, as in the old days. Nice place we have been here before and will come back again.

This was my first time camping in about 30 years. We had a phenomenal time. The campground was super clean it had a lot to offer. The pool was big to enjoy as well. The staff was super friendly. We can't wait to come back. I think the most important thing was it was relaxing yet fun. It's close to everything Avalon, Wildwood, shopping etc.yet far enough from every day life.

I am very happy I found this gem. Part of me wants to spread the word, but the other part of me wants to keep the secret to myself. They were very friendly and professional at check- in. The location is great. It is very close to the Jersey Shore attractions, while still feeling secluded. There is a market nearby and a bike trail if you don't want to venture too far. I am so happy I could bring my dog with me. I loved taking him over to the farm to see the goats! The grounds are well kept. The cabin had everything I needed. Most of the guests were respectful of each other. The only complaint I have is that the cabins are very close to each other and not very sound proof so you can hear your neighbors very clearly, which made it hard to get a good nights sleep. I was woken up around midnight the first night by someone coming in late and then they left around 7 so I was woken up again from the doors banging. The second night the other cabin was playing music which could be heard clearly with everything closed and then stayed out till until 12.30 chatting. I tried putting on the ac to block out the sound, but the ac is very loud too. It would be nice if they looked into putting in better windows and having a no music rule. But for the price, I can't complain too much.

Our Cabin was the perfect mix of rustic yet comfy. They have a large clean saltwater pool! Other campers we met while there were very nice. Great atmosphere. Also location was awesome for fishing, all beaches and the bay are close by. We will definitely book again!

What a gem! We have stayed at many campgrounds through the years- this was the cleanest cabin we’ve ever been in! So grateful for everything being so pet-friendly. This is a smaller campground with spacious sites and lots of seasonals, which makes it quieter and more personal- our kind of place. Location was great, easy ride to the beach. Clean, well-maintained farm onsite was an added bonus for our horse-loving kids. Can’t wait to be back! Thank you!

We have had our camper here for years now because its a great campground. Between the pool, farm, and playground you don't have to leave the campground for fun. The bathrooms/shower facilities are kept nice and clean. Conveniently close to the beaches, zoo, and shopping.

We stayed at Poderosa for a little bit more then a week with two kids (5 & 7). We all enjoyed our stay. The campground is really clean and well maintained. We had a little issue on one day, the issu was mentionned at the office and they resolved it the same day. Further more, they are within half an hour to multiple beaches: WildWood, Avalon, Ocean Beach, etc..

A must try campground!

My wife and I love this place. We've stayed a few times now. The deluxe cabins with the bathrooms are great. The staff is very kind, the grounds are well kept, the pool is wonderful, and it's a short drive to Wildwood and Cape May.

This was our first time at Ponderosa, and we will be back! The premiere cabins were clean and neat, and just what we were looking for. The whole campground was pristine, and we couldn’t ask for more from the staff- everyone was really nice. And we liked that this campground is family oriented. Our favorites from this stay- Darla and company from the farm, and the beautiful pool.

Ponderosa Campground is a yearly destination for us, and has been for many years. We enjoy the nearby beaches, county zoo, shore town shops, and nearby natural areas. The quality day care offered on weekdays at nearby Clermont Kennel for our dog is a plus. We favor the restaurants in C.M. Court House. Most comforting is that we always find our cabin to be as clean as can be upon arrival.

It was very private and secluded. Had such a nice time just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful weather before it gets too hot and busy. Staff was very friendly and I would recommend Ponderosa Campground to all my family and friends! Great place and very affordable. Cabins are very clean and efficient!

This campground is very clean and fairly quiet. Our cabin and the bathrooms were well kept and the farm is adorable. One of the most enjoyable campground stays I've had.

My family and I loved our stay. The staff was amazing and everything was clean. I think the only problem I had was the queen bed matting in the cabin was very very uncomfortable. If possible they should be upgraded. Other than that fantastic stay should return in near future. Thank you!

We absolutely love Ponderosa! Unfortunately, it rained while we were there but we were so lucky to be at Ponderosa. We still got to watch the owner put her amazingly awesome rescue animals to bed. We had a blast even though the weather was gross! We'll probably be back later in the summer so we can enjoy Ponderosa in the sun!

We stayed for 2 nights, 4 adults and two small dogs. There was ample space for everyone including 2 dog crates. I love this place for it's secluded location, hidden far enough away from the big touristy areas yet close enough that a <20 minute ride can get you to any of the beaches, attractions and restaurants. The seasonal people were pleasant to chat with at the pool. The premium cabin was clean and ready for us with the pre ordered wood on our little porch. We had an issue with the door to the bathroom and when it was reported, the owner came by to see our concern. They were unable to fix it during our stay but we just didn't close the door completely and we were fine with that. The refrigerator held everything we needed it to hold including a 7lb bag of ice in the freezer. There is an Acme nearby which minimized our need to bring all of the perishable items with us. The salt water pool was clean and easy to get in and out of. I like the center concrete fountain barrier in the center to discern the deeper and shallow sections.
My husband and son are campers and enjoyed the rustic area. I am more of a glamping person and our cabin had all of the amenities that I require for glamping: electricity, shower with hot water, bed with a real mattress (byo bedding), table, chairs, refrigerator, microwave, tv and AIR CONDITIONING!!
The staff is very nice and welcoming.
I highly recommend!

Took my grandson to Little Hooves Farm bedtime experience. He loved the animals and is still talking about it. Highly recommend for the little ones!

First time visiting , it will NoT be our last . Beautiful campground , located very central to Southern New Jersey attractions. My only complaint was that there were no beach passes available to rent at the time ,but that does not take away from our WONDERFUL experience . We look forward to coming back next year!

Great place for family fun. less than 10 min drive to Beautiful Avalon public beach. Friendly staff and always friendly fellow campers in the complex. We have been coming for 11 years on and off and always look forward to it.
