The office is open VERY limited days and hours and even with their limited hours you can rarely get ahold of anyone. If you do not receive your bill in the mail and request a new copy before the date it is due, you will not receive a response until well after that date and then it will just be a very unprofessional email with a number on it, one number, the amount due. If you request the other information that is provided on your bill such as your reading numbers you will not get a response back at all.
They have no efficient system in place with options like paying via card or having the bill come out of your account each month. Your options are cash or check and with them never actually being in the office cash is not a viable option because you will not receive a receipt. They wait sometimes weeks before cashing checks.
At one point when 50% of our neighborhood did not receive their bill, a woman in the office confirmed there was an issue with the 50% but proceeded to say “but everyone knows it’s due on the 20th and should have still paid them” as if we were all supposed to just magically know what our bill was for that month. It’s a small town but that is no excuse for a business to be this unprofessional.

It would be nice if they had a website to pay your bill online and view account info. Especially since the office is rarely open.
