It was a new experience for me and my kids, we ordered the cold Thai noodles, the fajita quesadilla which was super good but we really loved the hamburger with the French fries super yummy too! If you have the chance go to this place and try also the smoothies they have a good variety.
The team was very nice, friendly and patient with us.

The only 100% vegan restaurant in Evansville. Great atmosphere, fantastic food and service. The owners are hardworking, generous, and genuine. My wife and I like the Cobb Salad and Almost Famous Bowl, but you can’t go wrong with any of their menu options. If they have brunch again, you best hope you don’t miss their hot cakes and biscuits and gravy.

The staff is wonderful, they sell local art. And the food is good! Im not vegan but i enjoy it there. The Buffalo califlower wings are soooo good.

Hit up @flourishplantbasedeatery again and got the vmac no onion no pickle with mayo instead of special sauce. It may not be real meat but it beats out most burgers ive had in my life. Trying things outside my comfort zone and loving it. The pizza burger is good too but i forgot to take a pic of that one. Even if you arent vegan check them out.

This place is a vegetarian/vegan traveler’s wet dream! My fiancĂ© and I were on an eight hour road trip and found this gem along our route. I read their extensive online menu while we drove, and our enthusiastic anticipation was met by mouth watering dishes like the barbecue pulled pork tempeh nachos, tempeh rueben, southwest crunch breakfast sandwich, spicy peanut noodle dish, kale ceased salad, and a spicy naan pizza. There’s not too many vegetarian food options on the road (especially at night) and nothing this decadent! We also got their chocolate banana monkey smoothie, a juice full of root veggies, and a fair trade coffee with yummy plant creamer to-go. We are thoroughly impressed and will definitely be back!

Yesterday was my first time for me and my s/o to eat at your establishment. They are not vegan, but I have been eating vegan off and on throughout the last few years. We have been meaning to try this place, as I am a culinary and hospitality student, and it came very highly recommended to me from my program advisor. Well, this place did not disappoint! My s/o has food allergies and dietary restrictions, and the staff was wonderful about it! We tried the VMac, the vegan version of a Big Mac, as we wanted to see how it measure up against other burgers, and it was very flavorful! Also, WOW, what a great portion size! The special sauce was just the right amount of tangy, and the burger was juicy without being greasy. The cashew Mac and cheese was also very good! Again, not overly oily or greasy, but creamy and rich. My s/o said they felt very relaxed due to the musical and artistic ambience. We loved the all inclusiveness, and I had a great time looking at the arts and crafts. The Chef came out and talked to us, and they were just great! We talked about their training in their home country, as well as our wait staff was also very friendly! We fell in love with this place and will be back! You can tell that the Chef is very passionate about their recipes and what they do, and again, the wait staff was extremely courteous and helpful as well. Chef talked about Sunday brunch, and I can tell you that we will be there! Especially after they said they have made tiramisu pancakes! You all hit the mark, 10/10!

Neither my wife nor I are vegan, but we decided to stop in for lunch because we have considered cutting meat from our diets. My wife has a nut allergy and they were very helpful in suggesting items that were nut free. As someone who eats probably too much red meat I was curious if the food would taste 'fake'. It was great. I had vegan chorizo and chicken with my meal and I couldn't tell any different. Highly recommend trying this place out!

We drove down from Vincennes to do some shopping and see a movie. Usually we go to Manna Mediterranean Grill for falafel but I decided to search for other vegan options. I was surprised and excited when I discovered Flourish. We decided to give it a try. I was excited to try their Philly cheesesteak which is my go-to at vegan/veggie places if they have it. I was a little disappointed to see no fries on the menu. I love some fries with a Philly cheesesteak but I know they don't fit in too well at a healthy restaurant.

I ordered my cheesesteak and my GF ordered the breakfast crunchwrap. A few minutes later I learned that they were out of cheesesteaks for the day. My heart sunk. I ordered the Banh Mi, one of my other favorites. A few seconds later I found out they were out of that too! I assume it was the sub buns that they were out of.

For my third order I settled for the BBQ-MAC crunchwrap with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. They apologized for being out of the two things I most wanted and gave us complimentary wellness shots. The shots were great!

I was expecting kind of small plates and was pleasantly surprised when our food came. One bite of my BBQ-MAC crunchwrap and all of my past disappointments washed away. It was so good. Everything was so good. What a great restaurant!

I can't wait to go back and try the other two sandwiches that I wanted. If my third choice was so good, I'm sure I'll be happy. Please give this place a chance if you haven't already.

Also, remember, you don't have to be vegan to eat vegan food. This food is not weird or different, it's just delicious food that is much better for you than a lot of other stuff. It's also extremely awesome that animals are not killed or tortured to make it.

Thank you Flourish for existing and I wish you all the luck in the world. I'll visit as much as possible!

My husband and I went here for lunch and absolutely LOVED it! The food was delicious and the atmosphere inviting. We had the Nacho burger and Bahn Mi Noodle Bowl with a side of red pepper hummus. All the dishes were amazing but special shout-out for the super yummy and fresh hummus and the flavorful Noodle Bowl. They were both our favorites. The chocolate chip cookie was also perfectly soft and chewy from the inside. We were also impressed by all their other initiatives, like giving away free compost, displaying local artists' work for sale and most importantly, their relentless pursuit of inclusion for everyone.

Extremely fresh food coupled with sterile art infused environment. The Menu had a huge display of foods for Vegs & Veegs. Happy Hour healthy drinks a great deal too. The Owners that I met & spoke to in length were incredible! Thank you so much for bringing such a happy environment full of forward thinking progressive Dietician approved gourmet eatery to Evansville. A mighty thunderous positive Clap for you! 👏🏻

Original (one star)
I wish I could try this place. I have driven to it 4 times and it is ALWAYS closed. I have never been to it when it was open. I am writing this review from the parking lot on a Friday at 4:44pm and guess what, it’s closed…

Update: I went today to give it another try. They were open and the food was good. I will be back! Also, after seeing the news about the fatal tornados that happened last night I need to give props to the owners for putting their people over profit.

The gyro was amazing - the bread and seitan were perfect. My wife got the TBLAT and nacho+queso, and that was incredible as well. Great environment too!

it’s been a good 2/3 months since we’ve had the privilege of getting out of work early enough to come to flourish since moving.

today. much like every day. i would have died for some bbq mac.
with the menu changing, i absolutely suspect grand things to come, but i surely felt like this was my only chance to get it.

they had just sold out of bbq seitan as i was ordering, our call got disconnected & i finished the order through fb. i would have lived with just mac, ranch & the crispy onions. i definitely would have. but when Katie called me back a few minutes later to tell me they whipped some up & that it would be ready in a few, literal tears streamed down my face. life’s been handing me a few lemons, i’m allowed.

am i a flair for the dramatic? absolutely.
do i love flourish bbq mac? more than life itself.

truly. have you ever seen anything more beautiful in your entire life?

I wish I lived closer! I come every time I'm on this side of town and everything has been a home run.... Breakfast combo, mashed potatoes, hummus plate, wraps.... I love it. Keep up the amazing work!

Came to Evansville for work, and drove out of my way to try this place. Friendly staff, delicious food (tried the crunch wrap and roasted pesto noodle) and overall great experience. Could tell they were busy, but didn't mind the wait - was glad to see they were in demand, which reinforced that driving here for lunch was a good idea. Definitely will come back next time I'm in town!

Evansville is so blessed to have this restaurant! Anytime I get a new person taking my order, they are so happy, helpful and knowledgeable! about the food. They love what they do there! It's not a job, it is a passion/mission! Depending on what you order a you can mix and match things and they bring it right out to you even outdoor seating!

The quality of the food is fantastic and the presentation/look is just as good as any five star! Inside has great aesthetics and very environmentally friendly. I don't hesitate to take my friends there!

I eat here at least once a week and I’m always so excited about it! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and make you feel like you’re part of the family. Even the owners are very engaged with their customers and community. The food is always fresh and delicious. My favorites are the Cobb Salad, the Bahn Mi, the Breakfast Dippers, and the Almost Famous Bowl. They just started serving brunch too and it is AMAZING! You absolutely have to get the pancakes. I’m so happy this place is “flourishing” even during these difficult times and I believe it’s because of the passion the owners and staff have for what they do.

Awesome food! I went here a while ago with friends, and I literally can't stop thinking about the sandwich I had. For context, I'm not vegan at all (but one of my friends is) and if I didn't know I was eating a vegan patty melt, I wouldn't know it. It was so delicious, seasoned perfectly! The cheese on it blew me away, because I sort of expected it to be not great, but it was better than some real cheese I've had. I even had to clarify that it was indeed plant based! One of the best burgers of my life!

OMG!! So delicious! I figured I wouldn’t like vegan food because I’m such a picky eater, but I decided to give it a try. I ordered the patty melt and the garden ranch side salad. If you didn’t know the ranch, cheese and meat were vegan, you would never figure it out on your own. The food is absolutely delicious. Seriously, if you haven’t gone here you are missing out big time!!

Flourish is a 10/10, every time! I am vegan but I know many meat eaters that have visited Flourish and been impressed as well. The food is phenomenal. I've tried many different items and everything has been delicious, flavorful, and plentiful. I generally get two meals out of each dish because of the large portions! That said, the prices are great as well for the fresh, tasty dishes. The atmosphere is inviting and the staff are always welcoming. I recommend this restaurant to everyone, vegan or not!
