Country Critters Veterinary Hospital

Country critters is a phenomenal vet service. They answered all my questions about financials and the surgery, and the staff genuinely cares about the patients. I didn't feel like we were just a number. They even called to check up on my little biscuit the day after her surgery, it was very kind and I'm very glad that we have found a vet service that treats their patients like family.

We love the care and trust Dr Eddleman & staff with care of our puppies. They know your pet when you come back for routine visits. Recently our older dog, Charlie became ill and they were very supportive and caring throughout the process. Charlie passed and they shared in our grief. Which means so much. Dr. Eddleman is the best!

We had a really great first experience this morning! It all started with Jody welcoming us when we came in, and then reaching over the counter to hug my toddler when he reached out to her. :-)

Ashley was really helpful and welcoming when we got in the room, and was easy to talk to. Dr. Eddleman was also really personable when he came in, and took time to explain things and answer all of my questions. I never felt rushed.

The only thing that made me a bit uncomfortable was when they wanted to take my sweet girl to a different room away from me to examine her. She's very fearful of men, and even though Ashley was with Dr. Eddleman, that didn't sit well with me. I didn't want Koda to be afraid being in a room with all strangers and I'm nowhere in sight.

Thankfully, Dr. Eddleman came up with a solution of having me stand in the room but on the opposite side so she could still see me and I could see her, but they could do the exam without complication. That worked really well for us, and I was thankful Dr. Eddleman suggested it.

After we were done, while waiting on Ashley to come back into the room with our paperwork, I had to use the bathroom. I took my toddler and Koda with me. Once I got out, Ashley was there waiting with the bag, and offered to help me. She took Koda, and walked out with me to my car and put her in the backseat while I was putting my son in his carseat. I've NEVER seen a vet staff member do that! It really made a positive impression on me.

Country Critters is the best vet office around. I’ve had animals my whole life and the previous vets and office staff at other vets have always made me or my mom feel unwelcome. I even had a previous vet at another office euthanize my cat before I was ready.

I have had 1 dog euthanized here and they were so compassionate and made sure I was ready.

Last week, as I was picking up medication for my dog, an office worker asked me when my dog’s next exam was. I was a little surprised and said not for 4 months…. Why? She told me about a new product they had for arthritis and booked an appt for my dog the next week. Had she not been friendly enough to give me that advice, my dog would still be on pain meds for arthritis. She’s now getting monthly injections for arthritis and I 100% believe this will extend her life. Thankful for this office!!

Very nice. Office staff are really helpful. The vets are so kind. The only thing i dont like is the automated text that requires a response or the appointment is cancelled. At first glance it just looks like a reminder, so if you dont click it you wont see the part that says, " respond with a Y if you will be here or we will cancel the appt." Not verbatim, but you know what i mean. That message comes 2 or 3 times! So even if you said Y the first time you have to keep saying it everytime or the appt gets cancelled. Maybe shorten the message and only send once? Idk, just a thought.

Everyone is so kind and caring. The take time to make sure and understand the issues your pets is having and then always explain things very thoroughly. Love Country Critters!!

The veterinarians and staff at Country Critters are excellent! I have, and will continue to, recommend this practice to anyone looking for a health ‘home’ for their pets!

Always a great experience at CCVH. Vets take time to make sure all questions are answered. The vet techs are so good with our dogs as well.

CC croped my doberman's ears and did a fantastic job! No complcations wharsoever. The staff was professional and my dog's ears were standing up after just one posting. I would highly reccomend

I would give this clinic 10 stars if I could, we’ve been to a few vets in our 3 years of pet parent life and Country Critters takes the cake. The staff goes above and beyond to show they truly care, take the time to explain things and makes sure all questions are answered. Top notch vet care for your furry family members!

We are so thankful for the team at Country Critters. Jessica and Dr. Eddleman were both kind and patient with us and our anxious Doberman we recently rescued. They are very knowledgeable, and they gave us time to consider our options and ask any further questions. We were also about to have our Doberman neutered at a different and cheaper clinic, but since we felt so secure here with Dr. Eddleman and his staff, we have decided to have the surgery done here at Country Critters. We trust that our fur-babies are in good hands.

I love the friendly front desk staff. They are fun and friendly. They always make me feel like we're friends rather than another client to get checked in and out. The vet techs are patient and kind. We've lost two of our pets in the last month and I truly believe everyone of them grieved our kids with us. Everyone you encounter makes you feel like you are a part of their family. The vets are extremely busy but never make us feel rushed or a bother when we ask questions. I can't imagine trusting anyone else with our pets well being and health.

The staff are amazing and you really feel that they care for your pets like their own.

I love everything about this office. It is clean. It is spacious. The staff is caring. The doctors are great. Everyone truly cares about our animals. I didn't like the idea of multiple doctors at first. However, seeing a different doctor ended up helping our oldest dog a great deal. The doctor had an idea of an additional supplement that turned out to greatly help. Highly recommend this veterinary office to anyone!

Nice clean space, dr. Gave us all the options and allowed us to make decisions. Didn’t feel like I was being judged for having to make decisions based on finances.

I can tell that they truly care about the animals which I call family Titus is family we had some issues with our card and they worked with us it was unexpected with the card but we were finally able to settle up which I am truly sorry that we had problems with the card this vet took time to explain what was going on with Titus they're not all about the money like most vets are this vet went Beyond most vet that I have seen they truly care

Country Critters Veterinary Hospital is our favorite clinic and consistently provides top-notch care. We can never say enough great things about Dr Veronica Busick, and Alison and Sarah were very helpful, informative, and accommodating today with our new cat. We very much appreciate their compassion!

We r new to the area and had a great house call vet in Chicago. This was my pups first visit to an actual vet’s office and I wasn’t sure what to expect. The first thing Dr. Busick did was get on the floor with my golden retriever and love on him! I knew. right then he was in good hands! They were very busy, but took the time to answer my questions and make me feel comfortable. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Great experience!

Very friendly, treat my dog with care. Knowledgeable and willing to help with any questions I have. And Buddy likes everyone there.
