Main Moon Restaurant

Crab Rangoon and chicken fried rice. Little town where we took a driving test and we ordered a little snack. A delicious Chinese restaurant in a small town!! It made me want to go back just to eat dinner. Pleasantly surprised. If I lived here, it would be my “go to” Chinese place and I would be so happy that this Chinese restaurant is here! It’s like a hidden gem I would say! I want to go back and eat dinner and I honestly think I might actually do that in the next 3 months! It’s a 30 minute drive from where I live in Indianapolis, but now I’m curious. The thing is…it’s not a place you would sit down and eat dinner. It’s pretty much carry out dinner and maybe sit down by yourself or maybe one friend and eat lunch. I will come back and get a bunch of things to try because it had so much promise and I was interested in what else they had to offer. Cool restaurant hidden in a small town. Pretty cool!

We love this place! You’ll never find another like it. My hubby used to work in tipton and ate lunch here everyday. That was prob 8 years ago and til this day she remembers his order and we go maybe once every couple of months or so. Thankyou!

Really good takeout. Totally worth a visit. But bring cash, they don't accept cards.

I greatly enjoy General Tso's Chicken with broccoli and rice from this restaurant. The egg drop soup is also excellent; with plenty of noodles. (And there is a Pokestop right next door; customers can collect Pokeballs and such while dining!) And all meals come with a fortune cookie!

This place is a gem, the lady always working the phone is a rock star ⭐ fast kind and always gets your order right she works so fast and accurate. We are fortunate to this quality of Chinese in a small town…..very nice people and good food always.

Great food at average prices. This restaurant is in the next town west of my residence and I drive past 2 local Chinese restaurants to get my food from here. Currently they only have carry out and they do not take debit or credit. Cash or check only.

Been going here since it opened 20+ years ago. Great food, great portions, great prices. Crab Rangoon is the best I've ever had. Teriyaki beef sticks are also a favorite at our house. Always consistent with quality. You will not be disappointed!

This is by far my favorite restaurant ever. Great food, great prices, and a great staff. It's a great place for a quick bite, take out, or a sit down lunch/dinner. Their dumplings are absolutely amazing. My fiancee and I always joke around that we're spoiled with the quality of Main Moon compared to other restaurants but at the end of the day it ain't really a joke.

My go-to comfort food. Have never had a bad experience here. The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is relaxed, and the prices are more than fair for what you get. Super recommend the steamed dumplings, I would be buried with them if I could.

They are ALWAYS so kind when you talk to them on the phone and order. When you pick it up, they are still very kind. The food is always hot and just what we ordered. Occasionally the sweet and sour chicken is a little too crispy or maybe could have cooked for another minute but it is still good.

First visit. Great food. Nice people. Will go back. Don't forget bring cash!!!

Very good Chinese food especially for centeral Indiana. Crisp veggies and tend beef! I highly recommend thier egg drop soup with fried noodles. FYI thier hot/spicy is Tipton spicy I did not find it spicy at all but was very good.
