Half Moon Restaurant & Brewery

We had a table of “18”, in the Front Room. India was our waiter. India did an excellent job. She knew where each dinner went, refilled drinks, kept the checks straight. Food was serviced warm an as ordered. Front room is a quieter room for large group. Really nice evening.

Half Moon is a wonderful dinner experience. Servers are friendly & courteous. Our food was delicious. Our drinks were wonderful & the beer selection was fantastic. They are a bit more expensive than other casual places, but their food, service, & drinks are worth the extra coin.

This place is amazing. They have so much delicious items to choose from and the portion size doesn't disappoint. The meal was so large I had plenty of leftover for another meal. I had the bourbon burger and fries. The burger is huge and absolutely delicious. The fries are the best with buttery crispy on the outside. Highly recommended.

The service was great! Anything we needed or had questions about our server was always there! The food was amazing!! We filled up on appetizers and rolls that when it came to our main meal we had to take it home. Will absolutely recommend and come back!

Nice place for beer or food. I had lunch there. I had the brisket, not the best brisket I've had but a pretty good portion for just under 10 bucks as of Oct 2023. They have 3 types of sauce on the table. The rest of the party enjoyed the food.

It was our first time there and it was excellent. Our server was amazing and the food was great! I have some food allergies, and she was really good about making sure the ingredients I told her I was allergic to were left out of my food. She took excellent care of us and the ambience of the restaurant was very nice. It was relaxing and inviting. Will definitely be going back very soon!

Had a reservation for 15 people. Our waitress was amazing! Friendly, and attentive. One of the best we've had in a long time. And everyone enjoyed their food. Thanks!

This place was amazing. We drove over to Kokomo after James Dean festival and just picked a random restaurant to eat at. Let me tell this place is amazing…I had the Chicken Panini Grilled…melt in your mouth amazing. Dinner rolls were very good. They have a great menu and drink menu to pick from. I’ll definitely be back. Staff was super friendly.

One of my all-time favorite places. Delicious local beer, massive portions, and a never-ending menu to choose from. I'll take a trip to Kokomo for Half Moon alone; it's worth the drive.

I also love that they have Buzztime Trivia. Always fun to play trivia in a restaurant environment.

I've been to Half Moon a few different times now and it always serves as a great meeting place for family. The food is always solid and the staff is always helpful and friendly. I recommend this location for a casual bite to eat and a brew.

Super great experience! I believe our server's name was Lala. Great service and great food! My only complaint was the people who sat at the table before us spilled water everywhere on the floor and the staff didn't clean it up. So my feet and sandels were soaking wet. Besides that, we had such a great time and we will be back.

This place came recommended for a family get together. Greeted by a pleasant hostess, promptly seated and drinks are ordered along with any appetizers. The beer breaded onion rings are some of the best I’ve had. The bbq is king here, the brisket is smoked and juicy and tender. The ribs are great, and the pulled pork is unbeatable. A basket of yeast rolls with whipped butter is placed in the middle of the table. I’ll leave with a take home box and enjoy my leftovers tonight. They definitely serve a large portion of food. I was extremely pleased overall with the service and quality of food with the cost being average for area. It’s a great restaurant and meeting place.

Great atmosphere, fantastic staff, everyone was so friendly. The food was outstanding.

This was my first visit. If you arrive hungry and order the pulled pork dinner. You won't be hungry when you leave, and you will have another meal to take home. The servings are generous.
The server was cheerful and helpful.
Even during the dinner rush, it wasn't very noisy. We didn't have to shout to be heard. There may have been music playing. If there was, it didn't impead conversation is it does in many restaurants.

I live hours away. And don't pass by Kokomo as often as I used to. I think I'll be stopping at Half Moon again and again.

Service was great! Food and drinks came out fast. Lala hooked us up making sure everything was good! If I ever visit the area again I'd definitely come back!

Our experience here was overall amazing. We will for sure be coming back here. The food was insanely fresh, delicious, large portions and good prices. The chicken finger’s appetizer with sweet bbq sauce is the way to go. Some of our photos do not reflect the portion sizes as I couldn’t wait to eat (oops). The white fish is sooo good. My husband loved his Cuban as well. Katie was our waitress and she made the experience stellar. She was very personable, professional, knowledgeable about the food and her suggestions did not disappoint at all.

Something else that was nice was seeing how consistent the entire staff was at being professional and always working or cleaning and not on their phones. It has been a long time since we have seen that large of a staff doing their jobs to the best of their abilities. The greetings hello and goodbye had great personal touches also. Very clean inside and the bathrooms were very clean.

Good job to this staff and management and thank you Katie for being the best waitress we have had in a very long time. We will return when we are back in town.

Joe is the best! The pulled pork is always good and so is the cubana sandwhich. The wings are great with many sauces to choose from.
