Dixie Pig

Can't say enough good things about this place. The chopped pork bbq had amazing hickory smoked flavor. The homemade french fries were a perfect pairing on the BBQ platter. Definitely try the chili one of the best I've ever had. I see why they've managed to be a hit for 100 years now

We love the food and always stop by when we come in from out of town. You can't go wrong with the Pig Fries, Pig Sandwich comes with slaw on it. Don't forget to buy a bottle of the Dixie Pig Sauce it's a staple in our house.

I'm from Michigan, so therefore, I have little idea what REAL BBQ taste like. However, I love the southern style vinegary BBQ sauce on the pork. It was so good! Everything, including the sides, were far better than what you'd get in Michigan, and cheaper too. Another thing that stood out was the rolls. They melt in your mouth! And finally, when we were here, the servicr was great. Because we were new customers and we're from Michigan, they gave us free BBQ sauce! How's that for customer service?

Stopped by on a swing through Arkansas. The lady that helped me certainly had some classic southern hospitality. Chili was excellent and meaty. Took some barbecue sauce home for the smoker. Great recipe.

Excellent barbecue. There was 8 of us that ate and we all enjoyed it. We had bbq sandwiches, ribs, bbq plates, fries, onion rings and pig salads. All were pleased with the food and the waitress was very friendly and accommodating. It took a little longer than usual to get the food due to short number of staff, but it was worth the wait and we enjoyed the extra time to visit. We would like to see Diet Coke back on the drinks list.

Their in-house sauce is perfect on everything: meat, onion rings, salad...not sweet. Always great pork.

I first came here in the early 60's. Living in Cooter, this was a special treat. I was in the area again today and was able to visit. Love the simplicity of their BBQ. Just cabbage slaw on chopped slow cooked pork with that great vinegar sauce. The Fries are fresh cut as well. I hope the Hassel's tradition goes on for more generations.

This is a historical place to eat barbeque in the state of Arkansas. I think it's the very best in the entire State! It's never greasy. The sides are good. The coffee is a tradition and you can get quick take out too.

Their BBQ is absolutely phenomenal. This restaurant is truly a history museum of Blytheville with great food. I always recommend to anyone visiting Blytheville.

Great food, great service. My son loved their BBQ sauce so much he bought 2 bottles. Tables and bathroom were clean.

As I read all the reviews, I see many bad ones...wondering if you really gave Dixie Pig a chance or just followed the crowd and gave a bad review. Dixie Pig is a staple in our home town. They have ALWAYS treated me and everyone else dining in there the SAME. They do not keep so called rude staff on their payroll so I do not know where that is coming from. ALSO, THE PIG SALAD IS THE BEST AROUND...FOR THAT FACT...IT IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD!! Home town, family owned restaurants like this are rare and definitely not too many exist anymore but DIXIE PIG...YOU ARE THE BOMB in my book!

The food was excellent. Everything is homemade and tastes like it, too. And the service is outstanding. The waitress was friendly, helpful and very efficient. Food was fast and serving size was good for the price.

Dixie pig salad is outstanding. Great ribs and the shredded pork nachos.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

When ever I'm within 100 miles I visit The Dixie Pig for a Pig sandwich. I always get a second sandwich "to go" to enjoy later. Best I've ever had and I'm 68 years old.

Great barbecue! Had good conversations with folks in the restaurant while we waited on our takeout, very nice people and food!

Really good bbq. Love the sauce. Google says open in Sunday, but that is not true. I've never found a bbq place in AR open on Sunday. You might as well be looking for beer. Great place M-S though.
