Madonna Queen of the Universe Shrine

Incredibly friendly people in the gift shop. The nativity scene downstairs is wonderful. Great views of the Boston area from the top too and a great place to watch the planes take off and land from the airport.

I ❤ coming to the Madonna. It's a whole different world 🌎 being there. It's so calming, peaceful & beautiful. Right now there's the most unique presentation of the Nativity, you'll find it on level 3 across from the church. When I'm there I always go to the Gift shop... so many beautiful items there to see and buy. 🙏

She is so majestic, and the view from atop towards the airport is superb. I would definitely recommend checking it out, whether you're religious or not, just for the kick of it. East Boston has a lot to offer, and this is one of the nice places to visit. To be honest, I though I was going to see a statue of the British Madonna, but it was Mary instead. Nonetheless it was worth the hike up there. Oh, yeah it is atop a hill, so expect some quads exercise.

My wife and I stopped by one day and it was so incredibly beautiful and peaceful. At the time we were there a ray of light was shining on the wall that looked like Angel wings.

You can park roadside, or there is some parking in front of the shrine at the church. The statue is beautiful and ethereal. There are beautiful views of the Boston skyline from this point as well. There are mosaic pictures displaying biblical portraits as well as statues of angels and one of Jesus.

It is beautiful & what a view!! Grew up here, lived right below the statue for some years as well, & definitely took it for granted! It was just part of the city, nothing special then! But I will visit next time I'm in the area

Simply beautiful. The view of Logan Airport and the area is spectacular. Walking up the stairs from down below to get to the Madonna is quite tiring, but worth it for those who walk from Orient Heights.

Such a beautiful place... great communities, the store inside you can find great items to help your faith keep growing inside your heart, when I go, I always take something, and the costumer services is amazing!!! is so organized and full of positivity.... We are getting ready for the Christmas Festival 🎄 the first Sunday of December...

Great refuge in the city ! I can see and feel the heavens ! ( Not for the unbelievers)

I love visiting the Madonna and also the church. It guves you a feeling of true serenity. It is beautiful and the manger at Christmas time is absolutely stunning. It truly is a place one needs to see. The gift shop has all your religious needs and is a great place to buy someone that very special gift.

If you've never been here, I recommend putting this on a short list ! Make sure you go inside the church! Stunning art made from beautiful Italian marble! Believer or non- believers seeing this will delight your senses !
