YMCA of Greater Boston - Huntington Ave

I love the Y. It has become my third place (aside from work and home). The community is great, people are beautiful and the group classes are fun. It is within walking distance of my house, so I come every day. Thanks for all the great work!

Huntington YMCA facility is cleaned and modern. Pool section in particular is well-taken care of and there always seem to have lanes opened for Lap swim, besides Swim lessons and other activities. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Kids are having a blast at camp. Excellent staff, supporting campers and I especially appreciate communication from the team to include my family in opportunities available this summer. Thank you!

Well for starters I’ve been a member at the YMCA going on 9 years, I of my great experience there are the group exercises my favorite one I miss the is “Strength and Train Together.” Is what they call it (most popular workout class there!) If they bring back that workout class that’s the only I come back to the gym consistently. Other than that I will continue to do what I do best to stay in shape.

Do it, after recent renovations brand new weight room, yoga , stretching, etc, swimming pool, basketball, handball in stress free environment, great location for people looking for help with housing through Boston Housing can apply here, ask for Crystal on 6th floor, Cardinal Medeiros for homeless men is also here, single mothers, YMCA of Greater Boston is all about public service with Wendy Zimm at the anchor 🙏👍💜

Very clean, well organized, and staff is attentive and actively monitoring for COVID-19 physical distancing of machines and members.

So many reasons that we love swim class at the Y.
- small student teacher ratio
- a good length of time in the pool
- high quality instruction
The instructors strike a perfect balance of having joyous interactions with the children while still being skills focused! We have tried swim classes at many different institutions and find the Huntington YMCA to be the best!

Have done a COVID booster here. The people are friendly. Got Pfizer and 75$ gift card! Awesome deal!

The Oak Square, Allston, YMCA, has so far been my favorite. I love the water aerobic classes...a different class for every day of the week. The instructors are clear with instruction, and care that you do not hurt yourself, at the same time. The facility is clean and comfortable, and very well organized. Highly recommend!

Great value and conveniently located. Facilities are clean and equipment is well relatively well maintained. Everything you need is here weights, pool, great class options, etc and staff is friendly. I look forward to going to the Huntington YMCA! Would recommend!

the pool is clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. The exercise floor is always well staffed and well equipped. Im impressed by the cleanliness and was very touched to see lifeguards help older people get in and out of the pool. Bravo Y!

I've had a wonderful experience at the Y but it is extremely upsetting that their child watch still isn't open in urban areas when it has reopened wealthy suburban areas. It doesn't feel equitable and dramatically impacts my ability to go to the Y. I even emailed with Marvin Morel, Membership Experience Manager, and he just ghosted on the subject when I pointed this out.
But that aside, the facilities are wonderful, children's swim classes have been awesome and the guy in charge there is so nice, and my experience with Jen for personal training has been amazing.

Great location, reasonable price for the area, and exceptional staff. The child care teachers are outstanding!

This location has brought so much fun to my sons summer, I’m so happy to have access to a program like this for him! The staff are all very tentative and caring, making for a safe and fun environment. Thank you YMCA!

Great gym, staff are friendly and helpful. The aquatic instructor is great, and the facilities are large, well-maintained, and good amenities (swimsuit spinner to remove water after swims, hair dryers, etc). There are plenty of day lockers, showers, fitness equipment, swim lanes, etc. The online scheduling lookup is helpful to sign up for adult classes too such as the swim classes, and they have them for different skill levels.

The Y offers many exercise classes, and they are all well run. I also appreciate that they are community-oriented, hosting camp for children, meals for school children, and community dinners for the neighborhood.

Recently renovated, The Huntington YMCA is a wonderful way to work out!!! Clean and spacious, it offers swimming, weights, treadmills, eliptical machines, and everything you need to to feel good!! Brightly lit, spacious, with great shower facilities to step out into your day, feeling excited and inspired!!.. The endorphins kicking in make this a truly invigorating experience!

The Huntington YMCA is very open and airy, clean and bright. The machines are well maintained and seem new. Everyone who goes there is polite and respectful of everyone else. Overall, it's a fun place to go.

Huntington YMCA is a great place to do fitness activities. I recently joined a swimming class (beginner level) and loved it totally! Very clean swimming pool, great instructor, and staffs are friendly. I am going to enroll for another 8 weeks of swimming lessons in the new year (2022)!
