The wooden bridge was very peaceful. It was late at night so no crowd, no nothing. Just me and my boyfriend enjoying a night walk around the park and it isnt far from either of our homes.

I love our hometown of Island, ky! The wooden bridge park is beautiful a great place for a picnic or to walk! We do need to get something for the kids to play on in there!!!

A beautiful, well maintained property, which memorializes the town's old wooden bridge that was built in 1872. It was replaced by a new bridge and was relocated to this park in 2001.

The bridge was originally built in the 1870's, or maybe 1880's, and has been preserved and turned into the town park, many childhood memories of the old bridge
