Wilson's Pool Room

Just got around to trying this place, and it did not disappoint. Came in for lunch on a Wednesday and sat at the counter. The owner was very friendly and made my food right in front of me. The meat was fresh and so where the toppings. I tried the Willie Burger, it came out hot and cooked correctly. This is a hometown style spot that is simple, delicious, and friendly. Pool tables were also in good condition and are pay by the hour. I WILL RETURN!

Great place!! I had the Willie burger with cheese and it was delicious! The fries were delicious too. The food was delicious but the lady behind the bar was fantastic. My wife and I had a delicious meal and learn a lot of the history about the family and area. It was a great experience! We will definitely be back! Thank you!!

Hands down, the best, most entertaining meal, I've had, in quite some time. The food, diner fare extraordinaire, while hot, fresh and good enough that I took home leftovers, seemed more like a "prop", because the show, behind the counter, kept us in stitches! The stories about the history of the place, the second oldest continuously operating business in town, as told to us by the twenty-something grandchildren of the original owner, dating back over 100+ years, was truly an amazing experience! If you love diner food, like I do, and are looking for a "live sitcom" to keep you entertained, you owe it to yourself to give Wilson's Pool Room a try!

Best burger in town. Also good fish and chilli. And wings and fried pickles. And basically everything else on the menu! I do wish they would go back to the old way of making fries though.

I’ve been eating Willieburgers at Wilson’s Pool Room since my dad took me there for the first time in 1988. It’s one of the “must stops” if you’re traveling through Versailles and looking for a great low key place you can grab an ice cold beer and one of best burgers you’ll ever eat. Very child friendly as long as they can sit on one of the stools at the bar. When Wilson’s has live music, it’s a packed house and a ton of fun. Go for the burgers and stay for the fun.

Ask anyone who is from Versailles and they'll tell you that Wilson's has the best burger around. It's been family owned from day one and it's always nice getting to talk to the guys.... They talk to you like they've known you for years. Great service, great food and fantastic price.

This iconic piece of Versailles history is a multigenerational gem. Step into history, climb up on a stool and get your delicious Willie Burger and a basket of fries. The photos take you back through the years. It's our own greasy spoon and I say that with all the affection a Southern girl can muster. Yes, there are pool tables. I go for the food.

Burger was very good and so were the prices. Tender of the Bar was friendly and welcoming. Will stop in for lunch again. .. ps. didn't go for the billiards so ???

Great, friendly atmosphere. They should charge extra to just sit there and smell the food cooking. Great American family run, terrific food, great prices and if you don't ask to try the pink sauce you're only hurting yourself.

No frills diner and pool hall. The owners are friendly, and boy those burgers are pretty good. Had the Willieburger with cheese and grilled onions, and it did not disappoint.
