The Loretta Steakhouse

We stopped in on the Sunday if Memorial Day. Our waitress Ray was awesome. Very friendly and kept us up to date. Food was great and we didn't have to wait long at all.

Was not sure what to expect from Loretta's. When you arrive it looks like a county road bar, not a bad thing, but this a steak joint. Walk in and you see the space is comfortable and well designed but what got me; you smell the charcoal grill. I knew I was ordering a steak. The tenderloin and the ribeye where cooked to temperature (one medium the other rare) and did not disappoint. They had some nice local beers on tap, the service was attentive and very welcoming. For times you don't want to pay up for steak they have plenty more on the menu.....we will definitely be back.

I read reviews online and they were not wrong! We started with an order of onion rings and deep fried mushrooms since these were mentioned in reviews. They did not disappoint!! The portions were huge, these are homemade appetizers, not the normal frozen until fried that you get everywhere else. The locals were welcoming and friendly in conversation. My daughter ordered the prime rib sandwich and absolutely loved it. I ordered the 16oz ribeye with shrimp but was unable to get to it as I was determined to finish the appetizers. The presentation of the food was spectacular. The two gentlemen working were busy but that didn’t affect their hospitality and effectiveness. I highly recommend this establishment and know I will be coming back when I’m in the area.

I visited this weekend with my sister in law and her friend who has a family cabin in the area. They were packed, which is a good sign for a restaurant! We were not in a rush at all but the waitress was very nice and let us know she had a few more tables that sat down at the same time as us so I went to grab drinks at the bar for our table while we waited. The bartender was so very nice and accommodating and the locals sitting at the bar were also very kind.

The food:

The fried mushrooms were amazing!! Of course we loved the cheese curds, but my fave was the breading on the mushrooms and onion rings. Steak was delicious and we couldn’t have asked for better service. By the way the mushrooms on the steak are amazing as well! I am not usually such a giant fan of mushrooms but don’t sleep on it at this place. Yum yum!

Fantastic food! Friendly wait staff. Roomy indoors and outdoors. Plenty of room to park. Convenient to both highway and ATV traffic.

Food was fantastic , had bloodys that were excellent and good service could of had a little more portions but all and all highly recommend it!

Steak n Ribs by a warm fire were awesome!

Very good! Obviously try the steak… the meatloaf is delicious! My daughter had a pork sandwich and it was very good. A friend tried the ribs and was not disappointed! The hamburgers are way above average. Try the old fashions with the crazy good cherries!

Stopped in for Sunday breakfast and couldn't have been more pleased with the service and food. The homemade sausage was out of this world good. The portions will fill you up for the day. Great down home food served with a smile. If your in the area and are hungry, it's a must stop in destination.

Stopped in for beer and build your own bloodys that were out of this world! The sausage and cheese were excellent and the staff were awesome-attentive and good conversation. Although we didn't stay for a meal as we were riding around on our 4 wheelers, the bartender gave us recommendations for restaurants further north and in park falls. Will definitely be if in the area again!

Most friendly people in Loretta. Great Service Also. The Food, well, let me tell you that was one of the best Prime Rib Dinners that I have ever had. I will definitely be back and will bring friends to.

Excellent food. Always busy for dinner. Spendy but no complaints, quality matches cost. Steaks, chicken tenders, smoked bbq pork Mac n cheese all great !!!

We stopped by here on pure happenstance and we have nothing but high praise for everything about the Loretta Steakhouse. The food was phenomenal (we had burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches - all cooked to perfection and accompanied by homemade slaw and fries). Bloody Mary bar, awesome beer selection, and peanuts for snacking. Then there’s Val - she was our waitress - friendly, personable, and you could just tell that she loved her job and wanted people to feel at home. The space was clean, quaint, and has great atmosphere. We left with some locally made soup mix, fudge, and salsa to top it off! We live two hours from here but will make a point to return, without a doubt!

Prime Rib special on Saturday night was very good. My daughter had the salmon and said it was the best she's ever had and she says we're coming back for the salmon every time we're in the area.

Great place, air conditioning was very welcoming since nobody else we've stopped at has had it. Great service too. Handled our group with ease...which is sometimes hard to do. Thanks for everything Val and Drew!!!

Awesome food and excellent staff. Doesn't look like much on the exterior, but definitely a great, relaxing place. Not for small kids really, but manageable if they have a good temperament.

No doubt about it!! You'll get excellent food and wonderful service!! The wild rice meatloaf is one of my favorites and if you are looking for a good pizza, you're in the right spot!!

Homade bologna & Mac & Cheese dish wow!! Fish fry Bluegills melt in your mouth , Friday fish fry very good. Steaks and the extra thick Pork chop I can't wait to have again !!! OMG can that Wendy Cook / Chef !!!
