Middletown Diner

We decided to try this restaurant as the reviews looked promising. The restaurant had an inviting atmosphere inside. Tables clean, condiments stocked, and waitress very friendly. We ordered the French dip sandwich and the creamed chipped beef over gluten free toast. The meals came quickly and looked delicious. Everything was hot and the French bread was toasted which made dipping into the au jus sauce even better. The creamed chipped beef was tasty as well as the home fried potatoes. Although we did not indulge, the dessert section looked very tempting! We'll be back!

The prices were reasonable and the service was great! There's plenty of parking because it's located in a shopping center and handicapped accessible. We had Country Fried Steak and eggs and a spinach omelette. Both were delicious and delivered to the table piping hot! The coffee could have been stronger for my tastes, but it was still good.

It's an old diner, a lot of the older folk tend to visit at least when I was there. The food is good the service is excellent. The decor could use a little updating. But we weren't there for that. You've heard mixed reviews about the diner. I'd have to say it was good and would go again

Outstanding meal, service as well a middletown gem.

Went here the other day with family members, and the food did not disappoint!
It was melt in your mouth good (I had the reuben and fries), the staff was wonderful and pleasant, and there was plenty of seating. Definitely bringing more people to eat here again soon!

We are in the area to do a little bit of shopping and got hungry so we decided to ask a friend what had some good old-fashioned home cooking they recommended this place we were not disappointed the staff was very friendly even in these challenging times food was very good we all left with full bellies.. I would highly recommend this place

I. Love Diners and This One is so. Great The food was excellent and had the best tapioca pudding with whipped cream on it as the meal .. They call. Mini -meal. But nothing. Mini about it. I got chopped sirloin and it was to. Die For..My wife got flounder and ate every bite which is rare

The bad news: summer is over.
The great news: HOT chocolate with generous whipped cream! And perfectly done French fries!
Eat in or to go but warm up and fill up now!

Great place... we have breafast often. Good food choices, friendly service. Lots of parking.

I have never had lunch or dinner, but we go there at least 1 time a weekend for breakfast. My husband's favorite for coffee. We both really enjoy the way they make the bacon, and the brand is great, too. The staff have a really good attitude, always ready to joke. Oh, and cleanliness, top notch.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Met a friend for brunch today, she got stuck in traffic coming from the opposite direction, so I was there about 25 minutes ahead of her. I was warmly greeted by Mr. B. (I'm not going to get the spelling right, please accept my apologies!). It was no problem for me to occupy a booth and peruse the menu while I waited. Shelby was our fantastic server, the other server checked in with me as well, to make sure that everything was okay while I waited. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, the environment was extremely clean, the food was very bountiful and delicious! There was absolutely no rush to get through our meal, we chatted throughout and took our time. It seems like one big happy family there. This will be "the" place for us to share a meal together! Did I mention the amount of food? There's enough left over for another meal tomorrow. Thank you for such a lovely experience! 😊👍😋

I had Roast beef club on wheat. It was good, bag of chips that were more crunched up than 9 chips in 1 piece. Lemon Meringue pie, was VERY tart, didn't finish that, took off bill. The menu, well photos are "stock" photos when I inquired what a particular dish was. DON'T depend on the photo!!!!

This place has some of the nicest servers in the industry! The vibe is so positive and friendly! Also, their vegetable soup is so so SO good! Honestly, a lot of the food is pretty decent, maybe a little bland...but a pinch of salt makes up for the difference. Its the servers that bring us back! (And the veggie soup, of course!) We always leave feeling like the employees truly care. I love watching the interactions with the customers...and I love seeing so many happy people!

Eat breakfast here once or twice a month on my off days. Service is always good and the food always comes out fast. Perfect spot to get it and out even on the weekends without the long waits of some other spots. I've only ate breakfast here so not sure about the rest of the menu but breakfast is good.

Breakfast was best I've had in months. My spinach omelet and hash browns were excellent. Too bad we were traveling and won't be able to go Bach anytime soon. Worth the trip, local gem!
