Bridge Way Family Restaurant

My husband and I stopped in for the first time. The atmosphere is great. The remodel is very nice. The server and hostess were very friendly and attentive. The food was good. We got the sampler appetizer platter, a bacon cheeseburger on a pretzel bun, and the french dip sandwich. My husband loved the burger. The french dip sandwich was good (but lacking some flavor or seasoning I couldn't quite put my finger on, maybe onions would've set it off, overall though it was pretty good). The portions were also great.

Also, they have a brunch menu that includes mimosas and irish coffee, which I am SUPER excited to try next time, we had gotten there a bit late for the brunch menu.

The only real critique I could give was for the boneless wings. The sweet thai chili sauce was good, but the "wings" themselves were made of a processed chicken nugget grade consistency. I think they would be better as whole meat, whether thigh or breast cut chunks (the way seasons do seaso-bites)- instead of the processed balls of meat.

Overall, I definitely recommend this restaurant, and we will be back :)

This place is now called Betsy Ross. It was awesome! Our server, Megan, was so pleasant and joked with us, which we always love. I had a bacon, broccoli, cheddar omelette that was so fluffy! My husband always requests crispy bacon but rarely do restaurants actually serve it that way. It came out wonderful! We will be back!

This is great place to gather for good times, good food with great prices and football games!!! I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Hats off to that awesome open floor plan, the nice & clean bathrooms, and a crowd couldn't have been better!!!

Man this place has awesome service. Great all around food. I love their breakfast food. Eat in or take out. Very clean too. No complaints.

They had a cut theme to the Christmas tree all food . Cute little ginger bread all over. Candy also on the tree. Food was good enough for left overs . Chocolate moose cake was delicious. Called Betsy Ross now.

This is not bridge way anymore. It is now Besty Ross. The one in Dover closed and now they have reopened in Smyrna. We used to hit this spot almost every Sunday after church. The new spot looks great, food is good too, the price has increased and some items we used to get are not on the menu any longer. If you do go, bring cash, there is an upcharge for debit/credit.

The food is good and there is plenty on your plate. I definitely stop every time we pass threw Delaware. Sometimes there is a wait butworth the wait. The staff is friendly. Definitely stop by and try the food.

A local favorite. Great food at reasonable prices. Open 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM Sunday- Thursday and 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM on Friday & Saturday. I have been there over 25 times in the last few years and have always had exceptional service and not one meal that was just average or below. It's one of my favorites.

Great job by Stacey and her amazing crew. This is the second monthly meeting of the Dassault Survivors at the Bridgeway.
Service was perfect and performed like clockwork. The food was excellent. Every detail came off without a hitch.

Just left Bridgeway Family Restaurant. Although they can only do carry out the food was great. For $6.99 I got open Turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy. Chicken noodle soup and a drink. All the food was hot and delish.

Best family restaurant in Smyrna. They have great breakfast and dinner. Love their omelettes, pizza and gyros 😍. Food is amazing and so are their prices. We moved here from North Jersey in July and haven't found a good pizza place in Delaware. Pizza here is delicious and didn't upset my stomach 🤗. The staff of great... Courteous, friendly and always serve us with a smile 😊.

Friendly staff and good home cooked food.

Stopped by yesterday morning to find that the restaurant was closed. There were two large dumpsters in the parking lot. There was no note posted on the door as to if they are renovating or have permanently closed. Tried calling but the phone has been disconnected. Anyone aware of their status?

One of the BEST places in town. The chicken noodle soup, AMAZING. The salads amazing! The "at-home" atmosphere, AMAZING! It's like your cooking right at home in your kitchen :) The service they present and the turn-around time to get a customer in and out! We've been going to this place for YEARS! We love Stacy, too! :)

I have been to this restaurant one time so far. I had a very good experience. The staff was pleasant & very attentive. The atmosphere was peaceful & very clean. I ordered the open face turkey with mashed potatoes & gravy & it was very good!! The portion was right & so was the price. Service here was great! I do plan to return very soon.

Great place to eat. Have eaten breakfast and dinner their and food has been plentiful and delicious. They even offer Turkey bacon. Oh pasta isn’t bad, pretty good chicken cheesesteak with lots of cheese, and the best fries. Staff is great and the place is always clean.

This is a small family diner with wonderful homemade food. The biscuit was fluffy and delicious. My omelet was large and stuffed with filling. Service was excellent. It's a local favorite.

We just moved to Smyrna from new Jersey, and was looking for a great diner/restaurant. We tried the Smyrna dinner and wasn't thrilled about it at all. We didn't think we were gonna find anything like we had in new Jersey, until we stopped in bridge way. It was amazing the people and staff are so friendly, it's definitely a family environment. The food was great and huge portions, my husband had hotcakes and they were the biggest hotcakes he had ever had and they were delicious. We will most definitely be coming as regulars for now on. Gotta definitely give this gem a try, AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

The staff is great, they always greet you with a smile and a good morning/afternoon/evening the minute you walk in the door. Also, when seating you they will always ask where you would like to be seated and once you are at your table they immediately take your drink order, tell you what the specials are and allow you time to look over the menu. The food is great and is always prepared as requested and if you are a dessert person.....the double chocolate cake, it's amazing!

We are new to the neighborhood and this was our first visit. We did an early morning breakfast. We both had omelettes which were large and fluffy and very filling. Our server was very friendly. All in all, a very good experience. Will definitely return there!!!!!
