Called for a last minute snowmobile trip. Melanie was super friendly and the cabin worked great for us! We stopped by for new years earlier in the year and they put on an awesome party with a band and fireworks. We will be back!

Chippewa Pines Resort was an amazing experience! The cabins overlooking Lake Chippewa provide breathtaking views every morning. Immediately upon arriving we were introduced to all of the other guest and locals making me feel as if I had a home away from home! The owners (Matt/Mel) we’re astonishing and really gave the full experience with entertainment, full service bar, and open kitchen with a variety of food. Anyone looking for a great outdoor vacation should book here

My buddy and I stayed up there early fall last year in 2021 to do some fishing and everything was great. Melanie was very responsive to anything we needed. I was impressed with their reasonably priced rental fishing boats that we used the entire week we were there. Overall a great experience. Most likely heading back this year as well.

I was thoroughly impressed with Chippewa Pines. Melanie, Matt, and Cassie were great hosts and bartenders. The food was tasty and the drinks good. We stayed in one of their cabins- it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and bonus it was right on the lake! We loved our stay so much we reserved for the same weekend next year. You can tell Matt and Mel put in hard work to make this place awesome, and it shows.

Wonderful place!! The owners went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay there. Beautiful cabin. Clean and well stocked. Comfortable beds, large rooms. Great fishing a stones throw from their dock. Best frozen pizza I have ever had, and the dogs roaming around were a great bonus. Matt and Mel were great, and we can't wait to come back!

Run by Matt and Mel, two fabulous people who have great people working for them. We wanted for nothing during our stay, which happened to coincide with an annual Labor Day weekend party they throw called 'Pinestock'. Bands, drinks, and a lotta friends that all know each other and are dedicated to having a good time and also making sure you do also. The bar can get a little rowdy late. You've been warned!

First of all, my group and i have been going to The Big Chip, for over 30 years!
The Chippewa Pines Resort, has gone over & above to satisfy our group!
From launching our boats, staying open late at the convenient bar, hosting fun, last minute cornhole competition, to as simple as having our drinks ready before we order.
This team of Matt & Mel, have been absolutely spectacular.

Great little bar for quality drinks and good pizza! Best dogs in town!! If you're a bloody Mary fan - it's a must have. Updated kitchen now with homemade pizza, burgers, sandwiches, and hot dogs!!

Great little outdoor venue to listen to live music. Beautiful spot on the Big Chip!

Loved the key lime margarita. Wonderful views, and the owner Melanie is so friendly, as are her two dogs who greet you. Definitely a great stop on the trail.

A must stop every time we are up north. Constantly improving and expanding while keeping it quaint and cozy. Beautiful new outdoor area. Matt and Melanie make your visit top priority. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Absolutely amazing resort! The staff are incredibly friendly and we absolutely love it here. I’m a frequent flyer here now as it’s my preferred local stop when I visit the area.

Side note, Pizza is to die for! Do yourself a favor and stop in and try the pizza!

WOW! Its all I can say. The Chippewa Pines Resort knocked it out of the park again. We were able to get 7 members and 2 staff out for a day+ of fishing on the world famous Chippewa Flowage. We partnered up with the Chippewa Pines Resort and they did not disapoint! Some firsts and personal bests were made. We caught 6 different species of fish and HHO Team MN staff Jamie Gack caught his first musky and biggest fish ever. It was estimated to be 40" - 44" and 18 to 20 lbs. It was a beautiful Tiger Musky! We cannot thank Matt and Melanie Mikesh of the Chippewas Pines Resort enough for hosting us. We'd also like to thank the boat owners and guides for taking the time out of their busy schedules for helping us get our members out on the water.

Just spent a week at Chippewa Pines Resort, I can only say it was a great time. Lovely view . Mel and Matt along with son Colin were very hospitable and accommodating. Met so many nice people. Plan to go back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
