River Valley Inn & Suites

I travel a lot and was surprised to see how many negative reviews there were for this hotel. My stay was great - the ROOMS HAVE BEEN RECENTLY UPDATED (see pics) with new bedding and sofas. Hot tub and pool looked updated and were better than expected, although the hot tub temp wasn't very hot. The only complaint I can echo from other reviews is that there isn't much caulk along the perimeter of the bath tubs so water is clearly getting under the linoleum and no doubt causing issues ; as a handyman, it irks me to see such an obvious maintenance issue go uncorrected... a few tubes of caulk and a few hours of work and they'd prevent mold or inevitable water damage issues. Breakfast was nice, especially when considering the price. Hotel was overall fresh, clean and staff were friendly. Very nice budget hotel that didn't make me feel like I was on a budget.

I stayed here with a group of 10 to 15 people over the weekend and had nothing but great things to say about this hotel. If you are looking for a luxury experience with a 5-star room this might not be the ideal spot for you BUT they do have clean rooms, excellent service, & every room comes with a 65 inch TV! This place is truly a great spot to stay and the owner works very hard to ensure the place is clean and his guests feel welcomed. Also, continental breakfast in the morning is great to grab a quick bite before heading out.

Delightful experience. Clean, nice breakfast and a great mattress. I stayed there three times over 3 months. The wife made me feel so very welcome, and the husband was accommodating when I had something delivered during my stay. The property is well located near the St. Croix River. If you demand high end furniture and this is not your place. But I'll stay there again! Friendly service is EVERYTHING.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Check in and check out was quick. Room was clean and comfortable beds. Big TV and Pool area kept kids busy and happy. Owners were always on property and very accommodating. Breakfast was always flexible to our needs.

A wonderful place for our Anniversary getaway,! The pool the perfect temperature for me. That is rare. Whirlpool spa the same. Comfy new bed. Very clean room. Pleasant staff. Close to everything in Osceola we wanted to see and do!!

I have been to River Valley Inn several times. Staff is always kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and very quiet. The furnishings are a bit out of date but this is not a problem - I don't go to hotels to see the latest furniture trends. The beds are comfortable, the wifi is fast, the TVs are big and there's a pool! It's all you need a hotel to be.

I had an amazing stay at the Inn, I enjoyed the extra large tv very much. The Keurig coffee machine made excellent coffee with very minimal work which was a great touch compared to other Inns that I’ve stayed at. I also have no idea why some reviewers are claiming to have been charged extra, as I was charged at a very reasonable rate. All in all I would recommend staying here and will definitely be back.

The rooms are very nice. They have a strange swimming pool policy we're only one couple or group can be in there at a time for an hour. So we enjoyed our private hot tub.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and bathroom- dog was allowed and husband tried out the hot tub- said it clean and enjoyable to use. Had to come up here from Chicago for a job interview- at the nearby dancing dragonfly winery. Convenient to get to and I would recommend this place to friends and family.

Nice place, love the staff! Would stay again. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was Comfy. Good Wi-Fi, and cable. Right next to Tippy Bar and Grill. Would recommend to anyone!

Our WINTER family get-together in Osceola was FANTASTIC and River Valley Inn & Suites helped make it ROCK! Even with "COVID" restrictions and guidelines, we all had a wonderful stay. Great beds, super clean rooms, staff were wonderful and the location PERFECT. THANK YOU for making our family get-together so wonderful.

Great value. Hotel and room were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was minimal but satisfying. Pool area was nice and well manicured. I've paid a lot more money for worse accommodations.

Owner was amazing and was very accommodating. The room was very clean and I was very impressed. This is a wonderful well run place that will not disappoint. Thank you for a wonderful night away from home!

Great experience! Staff was EXCELLENT, VERY ATTENTIVE! Had 6, 9 year old girls for a birthday party & the manager was VERY accommadating & helpful! Would stay here again in a HEARTBEAT!

Pride of ownership stands out here, clean neat & well cared for. Great easy breakfast and the pool & hot tub were spotless and had changing color lights under water, fun!

The room was spacious, clean, with comfortable bed, which I like. Bathrooms was nice and clean. Enjoyed watching Netflix on a large TV in the room.

We stayed in a two-room suite with 75” TV and premium audio. Sports watching was fun; so impressed with the room. I love this place!

Clean rooms, friendly helpful staff, nice warm pool & hot tub, not a HUGE selection for breakfast , but they had some options you could grab at the front desk as well (complimentary).

This place was clean, quiet and very easy to navigate to in a touristy town of Osceola. Enjoyed skiing at Trollhaugen, just few miles from the hotel.
