Delicious hot beef lunch and the Butterfinger pie was full of flavor and amazing! They close early at 3 pm so go early. They also sell hats, bags, cookbooks and aprons!

Hometown family environment with huge pie selection and delicious food. The Lefse breakfasts give you a taste of Norway with a little fusion. Mine had egg and corned beef has with Hollandaise sauce and was delicious.

Food was great! I had the turkey melt on cranberry wild rice bread, and it was fantastic. Definitely a gem to stop in at if you're in the area. I got cautions from some others to avoid the Norwegian pancakes, but didn't have them myself.

The best breakfast of my trip. Sour dough French toast with eggs over easy and thick slice bacon..best coffee Ive had in a long time, too. Marlene was terrific and quite the saleslady! All she had to do was show us the pie she was serving someone else..oh my! Fresh Strawberry 🍓 cream cheese pie. These folks know their pies!

The legendary pies often overshadow the food at this restaurant that is 5 minutes off the interstate. The sheer variety of pies are impressive. There must be over 30 slices available at one time. Personally, I’d get a pie you probably don’t have often (if ever) get. The sour cream and meringues are over the top fun. Personally, I can’t miss getting the reuben with real corned beef on the wild rice and cranberry bread.

Very lovely lunch today. It was a very busy time so it took a bit longer to get the food out, but it was worth the wait. We had Norwegian Pancakes, French Toast, Hot Brown, and a Classic Reuben. Then we got an award winning Blueberry Lemonade Pie to go. The meal and pie were pricey but yummy!

This is a charming place that blends Norwegian and American food. It is also always busy, especially for breakfast which is a testament to the quality and taste of food and the atmosphere. People come from out of state to eat there. After all, it's not that easy to find Norwegian restaurants.

Some food highlights. The potato pancakes are awesome - crispy, not greasy, and they melt in your mouth. The corned beef hash is made from scratch and not greasy. It doesn't taste like typical diner hash. Lastly, the cookies are so good. They are big, not too sweet,, and are a treat any time of day, even breakfast 😉

Head over to Osseo, WI to find the Norse Nook and check out the little gift shop across the street (Gingham Goat Gift Shop - not affiliated with the restaurant).

If I could give it a 10, I would because it was better than excellent. I arrived just after a huge bus so I almost left BUT I was hungry and the pies looked so yummy. The hostess moved customers through quickly and I was seated after about 1/2 hour. I ordered the lunch special of a 1/2 sandwich and soup. I opted for the Reuben and it did not disappoint. The soup appeared to be homemade and was well seasoned and si tasty. I was so full I had to take the pie home to enjoy later. I got blueberry crunch for my husband and lemonade-raspberry for myself. My husband loves blueberry pie but he exclaimed that it was the best he has ever enjoyed. My piece was better than his but I didn't want to make him jealous.

Norske Nook is a treasure of Osseo! They have a great menu of Norwegian and Sweden classics, mixed with breakfast favorites. I LOVE their lefse-wrapped omelettes, and recently had the chance to try their Corned Beef Hash lefse omelette - delicious. Norske Nook is one of our family's favorite stops when driving through Wisconsin. The one downside is that they seem to often suffer from low staffing, which makes things a bit slow at times.

It's a cute little place that has amazing pies. We always order at least one when we are back visiting family. If you're in the area, it's a must visit for pie, but they also serve breakfast and lunch that are good too.

First, PIE! This place is crazy good with real homemade pie and so many quality selections. Peach pie when in season is off the charts. Recently, we tried the #1 seller bananna cream pie and the butterscotch pie. Ridiculously good! The butterscotch just took it to a whole other level, can't recommend enough. Decided to share a sandwich on last visit and had the Wisconsin Reuben on pumpernickel. This sandwich is so good. Make sure you stop, you will leave with a smile on your face!

Very delicious, but the wait was very long. Overall the experience was phenomenal. The food well made up for the long wait. They definitely could use some additional help - they only had three people serving the entire restaurant!

Excellent!!! We had the roast beef sandwich smothered with gravy with mashed potatoes and more gravy which was inexpensive and wonderful. For dessert, we tried the Pecan Pie and Butterscotch Pudding Pie. The pies were insanely good. Service was friendly and efficient. Definitely wish I could eat here often.

I've been going here for over 20 years. Food, Service and Pie are absolutely wonderful. It's worth going out of your way to stop at the Norske Nook!

You cannot leave without a slice of pie. Our favorites are the Lemon Meringue and the Death By Chocolate!!

This place is amazing, definitely a good stop for breakfast on our way to Chicago. Had the french toast, Benedict, hash browns and the breakfast wrap topped with hollandaise. All were very good, I recommend also getting their toast with homemade jam. Between the 4 of us we shared a slice of the seasonal strawberry pie, which was excellent.

Stopped at 12:30 on a Thursday and had a breakfast lefse wrap and a meat and potatoes lefse wrap. Excellent food. Also got slices of pie and cookies to go. A must stop when traveling through the state.

Raspberry cream cheese pie to go. It was fantastic. I've wanted to go here since I first heard of the place on TV years ago and it did not disappoint.
