Some of the best calamari I’ve had in town! Aliza is a great server and the atmosphere is amazing!! Drinks are also A+ I recommend the espresso martini!

This is a great supper club. It has a lot of rich history. It was built in 1847 and has been a store and a hotel. It is believed to have been part of the underground railroad.

Our dining experience was very nice. We ordered the truffle fries served with garlic aoli and chipotle aoli. They were amazing. The chicken Alfredo was very good. We also ordered the ribeye steak. That was served with with a spinach topped baked potato. The flavors were outstanding.

Our server was great. The atmosphere was lovely. It was warm and inviting. I highly recommend it.

The food was amazing and 100% worth the price. Our server was very attentive and helped us choose our courses. We LOVED everything! The truffle fries with the aioli were to die for! Thank you charlie for taking care of us! If you are in Middleton you should definitely stop by.

this place is amazing. the atmosphere is so cozy and beautiful, the service is wonderful, and they have delicious drinks and impeccable food. it was SO hard for me to pick what i was going to have for dinner. there is so much history in the stamm house; i love how they include it- even on the back of their menu! everybody who works there is so friendly and warm. we will certainly be back for another date night in the near future.

We celebrated some birthdays at 1847 last night. My wife turning 70 as the latest. A unique experience and great ambiance to say the least. The service and the food were par excelente. Our waitress Aliza was so warm and friendly. Hope to dine there again!

Really cool, historic building. The food was delicious! Try any of their pastas, but highly recommend their beef stroganoff. The truffle fries are yummy too. Especially the dipping sauce!

We really enjoyed this Stammn house. The chocolate cake was absolutely delicious. We are fortunate to have such a lovely place in Middleton with such a historical background.
Been back a few times more recently. Solid food. Fish tacos are good so are the salmon and crab cakes.

This is probably the best restaurant in Middleton. Most dishes are great. My partner and I love the burger, tenderloin tips, and French onion soup. My absolute favorite is the chicken Caesar salad — one of the best I’ve ever had. The dressing is made in-house and the chicken is grilled to perfection. Dessert options are higher end and delicious. They also make great old fashioned’s, as every Wisconsin restaurant should. Why 4 stars? Their parking lot is terrible! Humongous potholes everywhere! And it’s been like this for several years now and only gotten worse. Every time we visit we’re afraid we’re going to bottom out. So, I’ll update to 5 stars when they update their asphalt!

Update: The parking lot and driveway have been fixed! Yay!

First visit, our daughter got us a gift card for Xmas, and we finally had a chance to use it. The food was really good, the service was good, and it was a real cool place. We'll be back for sure!

This is a really neat old house and barn that was restored over time. It looks like they went through another recent renovation, but still has its charm.

The Sunday brunch is excellent. The omelette was amazing, with just the right touches of vegetables and goat cheese. One must also try the croissant French toast, which was done perfectly.

They also make a decent mimosa, and while it wasn't the best I've had, it it quite good.

Overall, it's a great place that's rather hidden. It's definitely worth the trip.

HIDDEN GEM! This restaurant is a hidden gem in Dane County. My fiancée and I went here for an anniversary dinner and all our food was amazing. Their outdoor patio is huge. We went on a Monday and still made a reservation. The patio was packed with people and I would highly recommend a reservation for the weekend based on how busy it was for a Monday.

The wait staff and servers were incredibly knowledgeable of the menu. Pictured is the Chicken Parmesan. Not pictured is the Brussels Sprouts appetizer (not super oily like a lot of restaurants, this is a hard feat to pull off without burning them or making them taste gross). My fiancées French Onion Soup and Chicken Salad.

A really nice restaurant with a beautiful outdoor patio for safety during covid. It was a little noisy being next to a busy road, but not terrible. Their cheese curds had a lovely light breading. Almost tempura like. I got their seafood linguini and the pasta was absolutely delightful. It tasted amazing and was cooked perfectly aldente. The seafood was also cooked perfectly. None of them were chewy and the flavor was wonderful. A delightful dish

We loved everything! Pan fried lake perch was so delicious and risotto with lots of veggies was divine. Lots of nice seating upstairs, and stairs have good handholds and are not steep or narrow. Half price appetizers until 5:30. We will be back to sit outside on patio on a nice evening : )

Awesome place, Mike is a fun and phenomenal personality, best server/bartender/character by far! Food is amazing and atmosphere is "oh-so" intricate with its history and stonework. We will most definitely be back again and again. Great beer and wine menu, it changes often and always has some one of randoms even I (a connoisseur) don't recognize. Fun place, dont forget dessert!!!

This was my first time ever being here and I thought it was so classy and had a great vibe. They were really nice and gave exceptional customer service. The food was amazing, fresh and full of flavor! I came here with my husband for my birthday and we loved it.
