Peters' Boyz Texas BBQ

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING authentic Texas barbecue and I lived down south so I know what true southern barbecue should be. My only regret is that I didn’t know about this place sooner. We got the piggy back platter which included ribs and pulled pork plus coleslaw, barbecue beans and the best corn bread I’ve ever had!! The meat is perfectly smoked- the southern sweet barbecue sauce is perfectly sweet and tangy. The fried okra was perfectly cooked- the macaroni and cheese was creamy and delicious.
Service was OUTSTANDING!!!! Owner came to our table and asked how everything was. We will absolutely be going back soon!!!

Have stopped in multiple times.... For Reggie's random specials.
First was the fish.... Best breaded white fish I have had in 10 years.
Second was a smoked new York strip. Let's just say... Your only given a butter knife to cut it for a reason. Not a single thing on the menu has disappointed me.

Stopped in tonight off of a friend's recommendation.
If you do one thing this week. Check this place out.

Atmosphere is super laid back, with a slight picnic vibe.
Staff members are super excited bubbly fun people. Really get that small family vibe for sure.

My wife got the pot belly. That's a super interesting mixture of flavors. She absolutely went to town on that sandwich.

I got the dry rub rib platter. (Im not a dry rib guy).
Absolutely blown away by the flavors in the rub, mixed with the smokey and fire flavors.10/10
The beans were next level. Tasted like they had some molasses and brown sugar. Absolutely paired perfect with the ribs.
Corn bread is the exact flavor I needed to pull everything together.

Lemonade that is homemade and brings me back to my youth. Nice and sugary, but not overly sugary... At least to me... And a ton of lemon flavor.

We definitely will be adding this location into our regular mix. Highly recommended. 10/10 absolutely zero negative for me.

Peters' Boys Texas BBQ is the real deal. Smoke flavor permeates the meats, and the excellent sauces on the side enhance the flavor even more. Both of the pulled pork options are delectable, and the fried pickles are a must. We took extra orders of pulled pork home, and it was as good, if not better, the next day. Even the corn bread is the good kind that doesn't dry out and crumble. The owners definitely care a lot about the food and take pride in their place. We can't wait to go back. Plus, we were happy to learn that it's only a six minute drive from the Valley Grand Marcus Theater in Appleton. Giddy up!

Only great fantastic BBQ in the Fix Valley..true Texas BBQ…beef brisket is decadent and dances on your mouth with flavor so intense that no sauce is needed! Cornbread is truly Southern goodness..try the pecan pie for the best ever, don’t forget the fried okra! Pete is a true pit master! Atmosphere of Christian music makes for a perfect meal of Thanksgiving to the Lord and Pete too!

We were visiting Timber Tap Brewery and decided to order food from Peters’ Boyz. All of us devoured our food and were very satisfied with the quality and flavor. My mom got the Potbelly sandwich and said it might be one of the best sandwiches she’s ever had! My brisket tacos had super fresh pico and the meat was top notch. We will 100% be back again.

This place is amazing! Right as you walk in, you get hit with a beautiful BBQ smell. This place definitely has to be one of the best places I have ever had the pleasure to eat. There are so many wonderful, strong, savory flavors in all of their food I have tried. Their hospitality and how welcoming they are makes it all the better. They are really a wonderful bunch of people. The owner even came out and sat down with me to talk and give me samples of his food and sauces! I will definitely be coming back here and wish this places nothing but success.

Peters' Boys Texas BBQ may be a bit cozy, but it's packed with flavors as big as the Lone Star State itself. The cook must've smuggled some Texan magic in his suitcase because it tastes like a Southern homecoming. The seasonings? A star-spangled rodeo for your taste buds. The sweet tea strikes the perfect balance, the okra is a delight, and the Moo and Oink? Pure joy. The staff? They're as warm as a Texas summer. Hats off to them!

Outstanding BBQ. We popped in late on. Friday and were greeted with a smile. We ordered brisket, ribs and the Bricker nachos. WOW!

We got a ton of food and it was delicious. I would of loved to try all the sauces but I didn't want to pay for each one, however the hot one on the nachos was perfectly balanced and hot.

The baked beans had a kick of cinnamon which was surprisingly great.

I was so full but wanted to try the pecan pie and that did not disappoint at all - it was amazing!

We'll be back if we're in the area, for sure! The husband and wife team were great and I loved their music selection for the restaurant as well. Loved everything!

The Best BBQ. Everything is of excellent quality, fresh and from scratch. The Tacos are fantastic, The yard bird is awesome, and the Brisket Mac and Cheese is not to be missed. I have not had a bad meal, and every thing I order seems better than the last time i was in.

The deep fried rib tips are amazing. Great food and service. Had the 4 meats for $40 and didn't go away hungry. They really seem to enjoy what they do.

Was lucky enough to get my hands on one of Poppa Pete's Perfect Potatoes and oh my goodness!! One of the most delicious things I've had in my life and brought me right back home down south! Great service, homey environment, and Reggie's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Fair warning: be careful if you're gonna try the Alamo sauce!! Painfully spicy 🔥🔥🔥

This is hands down the best BBQ I've ever had!!! I used to think the best BBQ came out of Kansas (down there for work), but Peter's Boyz knocks it out of the park!! The restaurant is beautiful, the food and service are amazing, and we have even used them for catering at our home as well. 10/10 recommend folks to try this place out and spend your hard earned dollars in our local establishments and support local businesses. Came in one hour before close and got everything we wanted still! Was our first time trying, got it to go and only waited about 20 minutes even though they were incredibly busy. Everything was fantastic, the brisket was my favorite. Mac n cheese to die for. So glad we finally tried after moving to the area 6 months ago. Will be back for sure!

If you want real Texas bbq THIS is the place to go to! I had the pulled pork and bbq ribs. Absolutely the best I’ve had outside of Texas! The deep fried okra was perfect, as was the beans and cornbread. REAL brewed iced tea. Will definitely go back! Family owned and operated and it shows!!♥

It is truly a gem of the community. I've lived in the area for years with always wanting to try the food here. Finally, I took my family here for my birthday and couldn't be more pleased. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff friendly, and the vibe of this place was so comfortable.

The owner must be proud to have cut out a special place for himself here because after living up to their reputation, not only will this be the only place we'll eat BBQ but always refer them for catering. I'm not surprised you guys had 3 caterings yesterday because clearly you're doing things right here.

What I am about to say may seem over the top or exaggerated, but it is all very true.

I LOVE barbecue food, a lot! And I’ve been to many restaurants, but P-Boyz is by far the absolute BEST bbq I have ever had!!!!!

As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the nicest people;true southern hospitality. As we were figuring out what to order, the owners gave us some samples: ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. It was true love at first bite! I literally couldn’t believe what I just put in my mouth. It was all AMAZING, but The ribs specifically were out of this world. The spices and the smokiness was perfect.

I will be going back to P-Boyz as much as possible! And I recommend you do too!!

I was told to try this place by a coworker. Best advice I could have taken. I can't recommend it offen enough. As has been said in other reviews, the first thing that hits you is the wonderful aroma of delicious smoked meats. We have now tried everything they have to offer, not a miss in the lineup. The sauces are there to enhance the flavor, not make it. Don't forget to try the desserts. Get there early because once they run out, it's your loss.
It's small, clean, and well lit.
We have been back several times, even brought to go for friends to try.
