From the beautiful ambiance to the 5 star service, everything was literal perfection. The best Seafood ala Vodka with fresh scallops and super flavorful shrimp, Irish chocolate mousse cheesecake (all homemade) was heavenly. Definitely recommend and will go back, don’t leave without a Jordans specialty pizza 👌

We went on new years eve with a reservation and we're extremely disappointed in the service. We were only a 2 top when every other table was 6-10 people so we were sat by the back door and completely overlooked. We waited over an hour and a half for our meal and probably 45 minutes for our appetizers with little interaction from the staff in between.
It was NYE, the restaurant was moderately busy and the waitress was nice so I am giving them some grace.
Although the service wasn't the best, I am still giving this restaurant 5 stars as the food was that good. I tried the chicken and shrimp in vodka sauce served over pasta and it was 10/10. I would totally wait an hour and a half to eat it again.

First time here tonight. Probably the best dining experience I've had. Everything is fresh and home made. While yes it is higher end price wise. For the food being made from scratch with only fresh ingredients it's not overpriced at all. I will be back again

My girlfriend and I had a 4:30 reservation on a week day, so it wasn't busy as we both like to dine peacefully. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food was wonderful, the service was great. I approve of the aeronautical theme! My girlfriend and I enjoyed the views and decoration of the second floor. She had the Bruchetta, Lasagna, and Canolli. I had the Cheesey Garlic Bread, Manacotti, and two servings of Chocolate Cheesecake. All was excellent!

Other reviewers complain of long wait times, although we didn't experience this I understand how a patron could be annoyed. It is a fine dining resturant, which there aren't many of, and waiting for food to be made is not uncommon. Frankly I don't mind waiting for the entree as the only time my girlfriend and I have the uninterrupted time to actually talk to one another is over dinner! I did not feel rushed to eat and leave which I like. Too many resturants push people out to free up a table, but I don't get the feeling that Casa Capitano is one of those places.

Lastly in terms of cost the prices are more than fair for the type resturant, location, service, quality of food and presentation. We had no problems with the price, I paid like $121 with tip for the two of us. Granted I didn't "pig out" like I usually would, except for the two servings of cheesecake.

I look forward to my next meal at Casa Capitano.

We had a party of 10 and was outstanding! We all enjoyed from app to dessert! We will definitely be back...

After seeing posts about this place for awhile and wanting to try it, my fiancé and I decided to give it a shot. We made reservations since it was one of the first real nice days of the year. Let me tell you that the food did not disappoint, I highly recommend the gnocchi. Our waiter Ethan was fantastic and suggested the vodka sauce which was second to none. We live about 30 minutes away and the drive was 100% worth every second. We will be coming back for sure.

Stumbled into this place in route to the St. Lawrence. Lucky find! Great Italian food. Homemade pasta was perfectly cooked. Both dishes we had were spot in. Would try and hit this again if up this way.

Enjoyed dinner here with my wife on a cold February night. Another outstanding evening at our favorite restaurant in the Champlain Valley. Food, service and ambience all 5 stars. Tom and Elizabeth are wonderful hosts. Pasta and sauces all made in-house.

Rare dining gem in this area.Excellent all around , waterfront views, dishes are amazing , excellent service, and very high quality , while reasonably priced .

My husband and I were very impressed with the best homemade Italian food/pasta we have had in quite some time. Highly recommend if you want high quality food at good prices. This was our first visit, recommend by a store proprietor,as we are on vacation. We had bread, escargot as an appetizer, salad. Homemade Fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken, drinks and desert to go. As we were stuffed.

Food was great, so are the drinks. The place looks amazing. I can't wait to go back. Every one who works there was very nice.

Thank U Casa Capitano for the wonderful 50th Wedding Anniversary dinner for 15 that you served us! All of our guests were impressed. The food was SO good. ( loved the eggplant parm 😋) The servers were very gracious and in tune. And the atmosphere was beautiful.

Great food - you can really taste the difference with so much that is homemade! The atmosphere is fantastic as well. They have done a wonderful job with the outdoor options and making them as accessible as possible - cooling system in the heat and some nice heat when it gets cool.
In my experience, this is a perfect stop whether you have a party of 2 for a quiet dinner date or a party of 10 to celebrate!

Lovely atmosphere, excellent service, great meal. Sunny was so attentive as was Elizabeth. Mushroom soup was delightful and steaks cooked to perfection. Pricey? Yes, but having a gem like this outside a big city was worth it.

My mother came up from Tennessee to visit and we decided to get some food here. The beer choices were great, and the freshly baked bread was both crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The main courses were honestly incredible. My mother got a seafood Alfredo, and I got chicken Parmesan with a side of spaghetti. You can really tell how fresh the ingredients are, because when you eat here, it doesn’t taste like you’re going out to a restaurant. It tastes like you have an Italian grandmother who made a classic, yet special dinner for you. The service was great as well. Our server was friendly, had a humorous side, yet was also very professional. It has the most class out of anywhere around. I’m ordering a pizza tomorrow, I have to try one from that beautiful oven.

We recently enjoyed a dinner that did not disappoint. Our early reservation time resulted in very timely presentation of appetizers and dinner. Come early and enjoy the cocktails and views. Can't wait to return. 5 stars.

A great dining experience.
Perfect location, beautiful themed decoration and amazing service. When you want quick service expect nothing other than pre-cooked and frozen food. When you really want a dining experience you need time. Food cooked fresh on the premises with a personal touch requires time. A knowledgeable guest will enjoy the waiting time with one of the delicious drinks available and then will be ready when the food feast begins. Always worth the wait.
