I’m shocked that I have never wrote a review for Woodard! Well here you go…. I’m writing this on behalf of my entire family. We have been in Vermont for 30 years now, both Lauren and Eric have been with us our entire Vermont journey. We have purchased two boats from them and countless of water toys from them. What makes Woodard the best is the family oriented operation. We have an issue call Woodard, we need and new toy, drive to Woodard. Whenever I get married on the lake you better believe I’m pulling up in a boat from Woodard with Eric at the helm. I’m extremely grateful to have such an amazing shop right here on the lake and extraordinary people that own and run this business.

My husband and I recently purchased a new wake boat from Woodard Marine. We actually started shopping about a year ago and we dealt primarily with Greg Woodard. We had a great experience and learned a lot from spending a few hours with him! Fast forward to a year later and we met with Greg again this time to make a purchase. The entire experience was easy and enjoyable. It did not feel like a sales pitch- ever. Once the purchase was completed we met a few other members of the Woodard team: Kim, Russ, Luke, Rob, and Marie. Everyone is kind and knowledgeable. I cannot say enough great things about Woodard Marine. It’s a family run business and they treat customers like family, too!

My wife Jean and I recently purchased our second boat from Woodard. The team at Woodard has treated us so well with our first boat we knew we couldn't go anywhere else. We couldn't be happier with our new boat. Kim was great in helping us through the process. Thank you Kim, Greg, Lauren and everyone at Woodard. You guys are awesome!

Some of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. They're knowledgable, smart, experienced, and it was just a total treat to work with all of them.
You can, literally, get anything you'd possibly need to get out on the lake- even the boat!

Even if you don't plan to hit the lake, check out the showroom. They've generations of experience building boats, racing, and they're just a pleasure to spend time with.

I am so glad that I chose Woodard Marine as the dealership where I purchased my 2021 Lund Adventure Sport. From Kim in sales who steered me away from my first choice to a boat that much better matched my needs. To Greg who helped me navigate some financing issues and Marie who made out of state registration seamless. Then Lauren and Amber in service who are both knowledgeable, very capable and the nicest people you would want to meet. I couldn't be more satisfied .

Before writing this review, I perused the other rating and comments from those who have done business with Woodard Marine. Out of 31 reviews all were 5 stars!!!! Make that 32! I had been looking for a pontoon boat for my family for around 2 years, but everything I saw for sale online needed work. Then, I found the perfect pontoon boat for sale at Woodard Marine. I immediately emailed Kim. She was extremely responsive and super helpful. I was able to purchase the boat without ever having to drive up to VT. Kim was on top of everything, from registering the boat, the trailer, et al.
Then came the day we drove up to VT to pick up the boat. We were treated like royalty. I've never had someone go through every single aspect of an item I have purchased like Woodard did. The gentleman who inspected the vessel with me was awesome! (forgot his name, retired game warden). They blocked off two hours of their time to be sure I was satisfied. The one negative I had heard was that Woodard was high priced. ABSOLUTELY FALSE! I received a fantastic deal for the boat and trailer. Thanks to all who helped us at Woodard Marine. I will be back for more!!!!

I decided to purchase a new Bayliner Element M15 this year. After contacting another marina, I found Woodard not only offered a better deal, but after talking to Kim I felt confident this would be the best choice for me. And that was even before I knew there were other "perks" I was unaware of!

Kim was always ready to answer my questions, offer advice, and overcame my concerns about trailering my new boat home.

Being an "in State" dealership, they handled all the DMV and sales tax paperwork for me.

When it came time to pick up my boat, I was given a wet demo on Lake Bomoseen I found very helpful. Rob even solved a problem I had getting the trailer hooked up to my vehicle (my fault), thank you!

I haven't been forgotten after the sale either. Kim has sent me a follow up email to ask if I have any questions or concerns.

I have nothing but praise for Kim and everyone I met at Woodard Marine. If you need anything related to boating, I don't think you will find anyone more helpful and concerned than the folks at Woodard Marine.

My husband and I went in and spoke to Kim last season. Kim listened to our wants. We didn’t find anything last season. We stopped in again this season and Kim was again patient, listened and worked with us. She found a boat that worked perfect for us. The process has been nothing but positive. We have had just a couple of glitches, but when brought up they responded and fixed things immediately. Wether going into the sales department, rental, or gas station, we have had wonderful service with happy interactions across the board. I have already recommended them to so many people. Such a great experience today. We needed to get gas and a very nice lady filed our boat for us. We had an issue with our battery at the boat launch but were able to get it going. Unfortunately, our battery died again while getting gas and a gentlemen named Eric was kind enough to lend us their equipment to get our boat fired up again. Being new to owning a boat, we were really overwhelmed and he was extremely helpful and patient. Thanks Eric! 👍

Buying anything at Woodard Marine is a Pleasant Experience. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel at home. They know the lake like no one else and they know boats... whether at the show room with Kim and Greg, or at the marina with Lauren, Eric, Mike and Barbara, you are greeted with a smiling face.
We bought a fishing boat, a motor, a pontoon and docks and we enjoy going in even if we do not need anything.

Top notch customer service. Everyone is extremely helpful. I've never had a bad experience walking in the door there.

Just purchased a pontoon boat from Kim Woodard. The ease of the purchase and the outstanding customer service from Eric and Kim are very much appreciated. They both went above and beyond from the time we walked in to after they put the boat in the water and took us out to show us how everything on the boat worked. The boat is from their rental fleet and runs perfectly. We called the other evening after hours and left a message and someone called us back a few minutes later to make sure we weren't calling because we were stranded out on the lake. Everyone we have ever dealt with at Woodard's including Matt who serviced our other boat over the years to Barbara in accounting are friendly, helpful and just enjoyable to deal with. We couldn't be happier! Thank you very much!!!

had a problems with my buddies boat and also the trailer while camping this past weekend we were in town from N.Y. Needing a wheel bearing hub and bearings and a extra set of bearings, grease and a filter for the boat, the had all the parts we needed and let us borrow a grease gun and gave us a piece of sandpaper. friendly people, helped us find the parts, worked with us on the prices. excellent experience dealing with them helping us get through our "pickle" highly recommend Woodard marine!!!

Nice family-owned vibe. Refreshingly honest and helpful. I went in with "electrical gremlins" in my old Honda, assuming I needed charging coils and a rectifier....they very kindly pointed out how to clean up my (amateurish) wiring and problem solved! They could have soaked me for $300 and I would have paid it. Super folks!
....so I bought a fish finder off them! Couldn't be happier!

Woodard Marine is a great place. I drove several hours to buy my new boat from them, and it was totally worth the drive. They are friendly, knowledgable, and have excellent pricing. I will send all of my friends there.
