Grey Gables Mansion Bed & Breakfast

Tim and Deb are amazing hosts! The rooms are very clean and quiet, and the small town charm of this inn is amazing! Tim immediately made us feel welcomed in his home. Being only 1 mile from a Canadian border crossing, made it easy to find our way back to the inn after our visit to our northern neighbors. The food was amazing, and had an awesome visual appeal as well. A few hours of chatting with Tim and Deb over a nice glass of wine, made the stay even that much better! We felt completely welcomed the entire stay, and my wife and I felt as if we had made two new friends. As for the future, we will most certainly stay here again, and look forward to seeing Tim and Deb on our next trip!! Maybe next fall!

Wonderful little b&b with historical value! The couple owning this place are very welcoming. The wife had an out of town emergency but she told us her husband would take good care of us. He sure did! He’s an amazing cook and the rooms were beautifully made up. It was nice having a comfortable place to sleep after busy days with family.

We have stayed here a boatload of times. Absolutely delightful, each & every time! Debbie & Tim are the perfect hosts. Tim's breakfasts are so great & the presentation is a thing of beauty, with attention to any special dietary needs. Rooms are lovely. Can't recommend the Grey Gables highly enough. Fantastic value!

I stayed there several years ago which I throughly enjoyed. The room with the enjoining bath was spotless. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. But what made my stay there complete was Heinz. I felt that he was my guardian angel. As I went up or down the stairs he was watching me to be sure I was safe. Thank you for making my stays so enjoyable.

We have visited here 3 times and love Grey Gables Mansion! It is clean, charming, lovely, the breakfast is wonderful. Tim and Deb are the best hosts, ever! They go above board to make any guest's stay just perfect!

Has just about everything you might (or might not) need.

Stayed for 4 days to ski Jay peak, Mont Sutton in Canada and experience with totality of the April 24 eclipse. Lots of space and can accommodate a large group. Make sure to read the fine print of your rental agreement. After you book and you add people they increase the price. Perhaps that's common on rental sites but I'm not used to it. It's definitely old mansion and has lots of character on the inside. The building needs a lot of work on the outside. Also bring your own Roku, Apple TV or fire Stick. There are roku's on all the TVs but the accounts are locked down and there's nothing set up for local content. The mansion is located in downtown Richford Vermont. Easy walk to downtown. We spend some time at the Thirsty Burger and the American legion. The locals are imsuper friendly and appreciative of the business.

HISTORY: This historic structure was rescued from destruction and restored by Mr. David Fallon in the mid-1990s prior to being sold to new owners. Thank you, Mr. Fallon for all the hard work you've done to restore this beautiful piece of architecture.

I was delighted by the promises and pictures on the website and got married here in February 2005. Though we enjoyed ourselves, I wouldn't recommend it. The champagne, chocolates and pictures that are part of the wedding package are a joke, and the inn keeper, Bob, was in the way more often than not. My husband grew up in a B&B and found numerous housekeeping and general practices to be desired. To top it off: the headboard in the honeymoon suite was not attached to the bed or the wall. Ouch.
