I can't thank Ron, and the Hingham Lumber staff, enough. My wife backed into our garage door and we were quoted close to $10k to replace it. I took out the damaged panel, and Ron was kind enough to repair it. Not only did he repair the damage, he did so whilst preserving what he could saving me money in the process, and making it better than it was before. All in, close to $600 later and I have a panel that looks better than before and have saved time and money! Now, as for the color matching, that was on me. Thank you Ron!

We just started a major remodel in Marshfield. Hingham Lumber is our go to supplier for everything from Andersen Windows to lumber. The service is outstanding and we spot check their pricing vs. the competition. They are consistently lower. Service and price, it’s a compelling combination.

Excellent customer service. Quick and easy process when it comes to placing and fulfilling orders. Our company has dealt with Dan True on multiple occasions- he has always been great in regards to handling multiple orders simultaneously and answering all of our questions in a timely manner.

David Ross is an outstanding professional and a great asset to your company. His in-dept knowledge of products, design and installation is invaluable. He is incredibly patient and understanding. In a few visits, he was able to address all our kitchen remodeling issues: cosmetic and functional.

He brought in a great installation team from John Bass Custom Remodeling. John, Kevin, Pat and Rich, the crew members are highly skilled craftsmen. They are organized, clean and respectful.

I don’t live in the area but was doing a job for a client close by and it was good to have a local ace five minutes down the street, as opposed to a box store 25 minutes away.

I ordered a storm door for my townhouse at Hingham Lumber and worked with Karyn. She was professional, quick to respond and very patient with my many questions and requests. Everyone I dealt with from the gentleman who came out to measure, to those who did the installation, were a pleasure to deal with and did a great job. Peter in the paint department is my go to person for paint and made sure I had the right paint to match the existing door. It's so nice to deal with a local business who offers this kind of service!

I went in on Monday with our Propress M18 machine that stopped working. Peter Brown in the service department was outstanding. He said to give him 10 minutes to figure it out and he did. I had the tool back in my hand the same day. It was a bit of an emergency as we needed the tool for the following day. In the past Peter also repaired our Air Snake. Peter is very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. Great customer service! Thank you!

Tons of stuff in stock, huge selection. Was a shortage on pressure treated for a while. Also was able to buy masks here. Huge place. Very fast. Good service and friendly. It gets super busy during the week but was still decently fast considering the amount of traffic and customers going through. Fast account lookup.

This place has the most fantastic kitchen design department. We worked with Marie Dunkelberger there, on recommendation from my contractor. Marie is the most knowledgeable, experienced and infinitely patient professional we could imagine.She listens carefully and offers valuable suggestions and everything she says and does is aimed at making your kitchen as perfect as it can be. We designed two kitchens and two bathrooms there and I am very very pleased at the way everything turned out.

Hands down friendliest and most knowledgeable staff anywhere. And they actually have everything imaginable. Just worked with Ron in the lumber warehouse and he is amazing. Went way above and beyond to help me out with my specialized order. Could not rate this place more highly!

From both a personal and professional standpoint, this is hands down the only place you should go. They have EVERYTHING you need no matter how obscure on hand at all times and the staff is mostly seasoned contractors so you know you can always get the help you need every time without fail. I've been going there for years and neither the business nor the people have yet to even mildly dissapoint

Great store and friendly staff. Large drive through pick up shed and the showroom has a great selection of tools, including the Gutster demo bar line.

We went there last week to get two propane tanks filled for our Gas Grille ... They have the best price anywhere I have seen ... I have a Commercial Accunt there , but we paid cash as we got a $ 5.00 Coupon in a mailed Circular ... 2 full Cannisters for under 15 Bucks !! ... Great price ... Smiley , polite Employees !!

If you can't stand the impersonalness and cavernous feel of a big box store, come to Hingham Lumber instead. Plenty of friendly, knowledgeable sales help. Right on Rt 3A in Cohasset - they moved from Hingham when the Greenbush commuter rail line was resurrected.

And they're back to giving out free small bags of freshly popped popcorn on Saturdays!

Hingham Lumber is one of my favorite hardware stores. They carry an excellent selection of quality products, a lot of which you won’t find at the big chain hardware stores. Plenty of friendly & knowledgeable staff are always on hand. They are a Ben Moore retailer and the paint department in general is top notch. Large, drive thru lumber yard behind main building.
