Marathon exceeded my expectations! I have been trying to get this large couch into my small 3rd floor apartment with pitched ceilings for a week to no avail, I finally called them for some help and they were able to get it in with no problem in under an hour! They brought it on to the garage roof and lifted it from there onto my deck and right into the apartment. It was an amazing sight to see, you can tell they are professionals. 10/10 service, I wish I called them in the first place!

Our move could not have gone better! We ended up needing to use storage for 8 months and the facility was clean and dry and temp controlled. Both the move out and the move in were not only handled with care, but the people that work for Marathon are incredibly kind and hard working. We are so happy to work with a company that made our very stressful move, out and in, easy. Thank you Marathon!

Professional, easy to use, and careful with our stuff. We hired Marathon to store our furniture during a renovation. The movers were incredibly careful with our items, including a large antique sideboard and several pieces with glass. They also moved a few pieces of furniture to other floors and were super careful, leaving no scratches on the walls. Very strong guys, worked efficiently and for almost exactly what the estimate was so there were no surprises. Would recommend and hire again!

Matt, Dennis and Carlos did an incredible job with our move today. It involved a move from the Cape to three drop off locations in Boston and a very difficult to maneuver couch. They were friendly, professional and skilled. The price was very reasonable. Highly recommend Marathon Moving!

FROM 2024: I came back here to update my review because we just used Marathon Moving AGAIN to move our whole house. The crew this round was the BEST Dennis, Carlos, Matt, Marvin, John all did an incredible job, we ended up finishing quicker than I thought and the whole day they were collaborative, helpful, and figured out how to get our mattress to the 2nd floor of our brand new house, a moment I was dreading leading up to the move. I hope I'm not moving any time soon, but will be calling Lillian and the crew if I do! Thanks MM!

FROM 2023: Worked with Marathon Movers a second time after the 1st went so well. Edwin & Jerry did an incredible job moving a storage unit over to our building, offering to go above and beyond to make sure things went smoothly. They were prompt, efficient and careful through out the whole process and will highlighly recommend these guys.

I’ve moved twice in 12 months and marathon movers has been excellent! Their pricing is fair, the communication is clear, they offer used boxes at no extra charge ABs the moving crew was FANTASTIC! Highly recommend!

Marathon was very helpful and made our move extremely easy. We anticipated needing the full day but the team was able to get everything moved and set up in half a day. The movers and the office were very pleasant and professional. They have our highest recommendation.

I would give Marathon 6 stars, so I'll have to settle for 5. The experience was very smooth moving from the Boston area to Scottsdale, AZ. All pricing was transparent and the pickup and delivery of good was as advertised. Absolutely no complaints on my end.

Marathon moved my mother this week. They did an amazing job! I was impressed from the first contact on the phone, to someone coming to look at her condo to see what the job involved, to Josh and his crew that did the heavy work! Everyone was pleasant, efficient and professional. I would highly recommend them!

We were in a position where we needed to move from one unit after 2 years to another and Francisco Duran and his team were fantastic to help us get everything into our new unit - which was very tight - but they made it work!

We did a long distance move from Massachusetts to Arizona. We had several estimates and didn’t pick the least expensive one but the one we had the best feeling.
We can HIGHLY recommend Marathon Moving!! We couldn’t have made a better choice!
Matt did an excellent job estimating our household, and Michelle coordinating and keeping us informed.
On moving day our driver Jeremiah and a crew from MA showed up right on time and packed our 3 bedroom house in 4 1/2 hours for the long way to AZ.
They used a shuttle truck from our MA home and everything was reloaded to a bigger one with no additional cost for us.
On this big truck were 3 additional loads and stops and our stuff was the 3. stop on the drivers schedule.
11 days later Jeremiah arrived at our new house at the promised time and had help from a local crew in AZ to unload.
Everything arrived, was in excellent condition and unpacked in no time!

The Marathon Moving team was fantastic from their early arrival, detailed walkthrough of the project and very careful moving of both the items to be stored as well as the items to be discarded. The entire team was focused and completed the project in record time! The Team Leader ensured that I reviewed the list of storage pieces and satisfied with the post-removal cleaning. Sue, the Marathon Mover service coordinator, was very helpful and explained everything to expect from start to finish. I will not hesitate to reach out for future projects of my own and recommend Marathon Moving to others.

Marathon Moving did an excellent job with our most recent move! From coordinating the quote, scheduling our logistics, and completing the move efficiently, timely, and professionally! The movers were absolutely amazing, they were extra careful with all of our belongings and put up with some extreme cold temperatures to get the move done! Anthony Sanchez was the team leader and driver. He was the consummate professional! He was respectful, polite, and gentle with my things. His team did a fantastic job of moving me from Massachusetts to Virginia. The only casualty was the handle of a coffee mug that I packed myself!

Side effects from chemo treatments I receive have recently worsened considerably. After passing out and collapsing, without warning, I realized climbing a steep set of stairs was no longer safe for me.
I called Marathon and spoke with Lillian. She said they were booked up for a few a weeks, but when I told her my circumstances she somehow squeezed me in for three days later!

Josh and Carlos arrived right on time. Several large pieces of antique furniture had to be switched between upstairs and downstairs. These included mahogany double dressers and bureaus with plate glass tops, a queen size bed with heavy metal headboard, a large sofa and recliner….. etc. They accomplished this with an amazing level of skill and efficiency. I never saw them come close to hitting anything, no nicks, no dents, no scratches!

Here’s the part, that I am most grateful for. When Josh and Carlos first arrived, I stood up and took a few steps to show them something. Somehow they noticed that I didn’t look right, and caught me just as my knees buckled.
This would have been bad in any case, but because of the blood thinner I am on (high risk of internal bleeding), it could have been fatal. Moving the bedroom downstairs came in the nick of time. My sincerest thanks to Lillian, Carlos and Josh; together you may have saved my life.
