Spacious campsites easily reserved online. Clean restrooms with showers with hot water. Wide asphalt biking paths connect with the 10 mile Apple Capital Loop Trail. Captivating early morning views. What more can you ask for?

Absolutely gorgeous setting. Sites are HUGE, bathrooms super clean (showers too), two playgrounds. Lots of open grass with deciduous trees throughout. Grounds are wrapped by Columbia River and Wenatchee River and are part of a ten mile paved loop. Walk or bike, cross the river. Protected swimming area and boat launch within walking distance. Camp hosts were friendly, helpful and very available.

This is the most popular park in Wenatchee. There’s 2 playgrounds, water, beautiful floral and lush grass to sit for some food or get some sun. Bikes are welcomed and public restrooms too. There seems to be 2 parks with this name by horse head and the downtown area. The dog loved the water and rolling in the huge grassy areas!

Nice beach area, nice campground. Right in town, very convenient location. Feels like you're in the wilderness. On the Apple Capital Loop Trail that goes all the way around the Columbia River to East Wenatchee, or out to Lincoln Rock. You can go the Fred Meyers via bike and never have to be on a street. Lots of open fields and a playground as well.

Thank you to the young man I met today.
Courteous, knowledgeable, and because of this
Individual, my husband and I are season pass holders.
Why pay $10 for a single day use when for $30 you can have the entire year?
Wa residents and tourists this is where you want to set up camp. We have stayed here on three separate occasions, enjoyed it immensely, we were held hostage by a skunk last year, no worries it left.
Amazing park, it’s always spotless. Animal baggies everywhere, please clean up after your pets.
This park deserves 10 ⭐

Surprisingly nice campground. Big spaces, lots of green, nestled within an agricultural industrial area. It’s well buffered and sits along a 10 mile walking and riding trail. And just south off the trail is a wildlife and wetland preserve. I spotted a nesting eagle and —- pretty amazing —-a young moose.

Great park, great central location in Wenatchee. Camped here on the way to ski Mission Ridge, great that they have winter camping and the rate was fair. Walked dog around but he wanted to eat all the geese poop. Restrooms with showers that lock at night due to vandalism (transients).

Came here as part of a large company camp out event. We had one of the two group sites and it was excellent. Close enough to the group restroom & shower complex to make it really convenient without listening to flushing toilets all night. Group site #2 had a nice large grassy area with decent shade trees to pitch tents. Power outlets in the group picnic shelter, a large portable charcoal grill, firepit, water spigots, and we had the group site parking area all to ourselves so folks could bring RVs and boats. It was a quick walk to the wonderful swimming beach and a play area was located close by (but no shade so beware of hot play equipment.) Wonderful time here and the weather was incredible.

Outstanding park. The grass and trees are exceptionally well-maintained, the restrooms are clean, and the swimming area is good. Nearby, there are tennis courts, as well as a campground and the endpoint of a paved bike path. If you're passing through Wenatchee, I'd suggest this park.

This is the state park Washington should strive for all of their parks to be as good as. Security, beauty, acres of grass, shade trees, easy river access, peacefulness. This park has it all. We will be back every year to spend at least a week.

We have visited this park every year for a few years now. It is absolutely beautiful. Very well kept. The grass is always green, the grounds and restrooms very clean, and the staff so friendly. There are 2 playgrounds, a swimming area, boat launch with 2 lanes and tons of parking, as well as horseshoe pits, volley ball net, tennis courts, basketball courts, large gazebos, public bbq's, and bike trails. The rv park is always full, but never feels crowded.

It's a state owned park so a Discover Pass is needed which you can purchase at the park. Great place to camp and a lot of shoreline along the Confluence. A small swimming area is great for the Littles and the views of the Columbia and the Valley are awesome. Bike friendly.

I was born & raised in wenatchee but now live in Montana we come back every summer to bring my kiddos to see their great grandfather & all the beautiful fruit, tress, & orchards that the area has. The water was really high during our visit but it made no difference to us. We enjoyed watching the boats load at the ramp and the playground. It was very clean not really any trash laying around plenty of picnic tables & there is bathrooms near the play area.

What a beautiful place. Lots of paved walking trails, place to swim, kayak and paddleboard. Places to play softball, tennis and ride your bicycles! Also have RV camping too, although they are expensive. A day pass here is $10, but an annual pass is $30. If you camp with an RV your day pass is covered. Loved this park! If you have a dog, they must be on a leash at all times and you must pick up after them!
