Exceptional - Accommodating - Friendly - Customer for Life!

Based on my recent stay at the Columbia River Inn, I wanted those things to be the first thing that someone saw before reading my review. I have had several family members stay here before so when I had to make a last minute trip to Coulee Dam, this was the only location recommended to me. They were extremely accommodating for myself and a number of family members who booked rooms at the same time and as one previous reviewer said, they not only allow pets, but the rooms designated as pet rooms looked and smelled no different than any other room on the property.

Arriving to town at 2:00AM was no problem and we were able to get our room keys quickly and easily. There is ample on-site parking and the location is perfect. You simply do not receive this kind of old-fashioned, friendly customer service very often anymore, so as long as they continue to do business that way, they'll have me as a customer for life!

I come to the area often and I will definitely stay here again! It was clean, very comfortable, and quiet. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.

This place was truly exceptional. Staying here was a pure delight with the *only* disappointment being the inevitable unfortunate requirement to checkout.

Pool, sauna, hot tub, easy walking distance to the museum, and balcony view of the damn spill ways.. the staff are genuine, kind and service oriented.. it is truly a gem of a place.

It will be difficult considering staying anywhere else from now on when heading this way. Truly a home away from home.

Lovely Inn. Kind, friendly staff. Our room was big and very clean. While they do welcome bringing a dog, the room did not smell like dogs had stayed before. Many hotel rooms smell like rug room "freshener" which causes super bad headaches. Not this place! It was just clean and a very nice place to stay.

Our room was clean and comfortable. It had a nice balcony that looked out over the dam. The staff and service was great and we enjoyed our stay.

Rooms were cleaned with squeaky floors. Nice views of the dam.

Nice spot, as close to the dam and visitor center as you can get. Easy walk back after the laser show. Rooms are clean and comfortable, air conditioning works well. Pool was really nice on a hot afternoon. Internet service was fast (200/200 fiber) if that's important to your travels.

Such a nice place to stay on the Grand Coulee Dam. Nice room with a balcony. The pool and got tub looked great, can see the dam from the balcony. Good price too

I stay in many hotels. This was the end of a 14 hour day not near a large city.

How fortunate we were to find this gem! It is so lovely to be in a small and I am guessing locally owned hotel. The difference is palpable compared to a corporate chain.

The toiletries provided are above average and it shows the care and concern put into the details of this hotel.

It also reminds me of travel as a child with my parents, small boutique places. The rooms are clean and well arranged. I wish we had more time to stay and explore the area.

Stayed in room 101 right by pool for a great price considering its the 4th of July weekend. Could see the dam right through my front windows. Old school charm, reclamation project area photos and nuances. Front desk lady was the most hospitable. Fantastic sauna that probably less than .1% of hotels today even have operable. Chevron right next door and Safeway down the road you can find yourself far away from the city still with all your easy necessities. I will be back here again soon.

We would absolutely stay again. Very clean. I take bigs very seriously. Mattresses have full cover and then sheets. Beds pull away from the wall and were clean behind and under. The room is so pretty with wood panels, wood closet and armoire.

It is super quiet except for the normal AC sound (so grateful for AC!).

The stairs going up to the second floor are metal (get hot).they have holes as part of the pattern. This could be a challenge for people using canes (for balance or visual impairments) as they’ll get stuck and be frustrating. Should be fine as long as you know ahead of time.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the facility was kept well, and the rooms were clean. We attempted to stay somewhere else locally and it was dirty. We were so grateful to find this place. They had so many cute details, like well kept wildflowers growing out front in the flower beds. A lot of charm.

Nice stay in November. Sauna and hot tub were great. Regular rooms are old fashioned while the annex rooms are modern. Annex room (I got annex A with one queen) has a decent kitchen, it is more like a vacation rental. The muffins in the lobby were good. Walking distance to dam visitor center. Good starting point to explore the area like steamboat rock or dry falls. Would love to visit again in the summer but off season was enjoyable too.

We stayed at Columbia River Inn while visiting Grand Coulee Dam. It's very clean, quiet and it's in a great location. It's right across from the dam and you can walk to the laser light show. If you go up the hill from the hotel you can do the grand coulee historic self guided walking tour, which we enjoyed. It far surpassed our expectations and we would def stay here again.

Enjoyed my stay at Columbia River Inn. I needed a room close to Grand Coulee, and this fit the bill. Rooms are a little dated, but that was easy to overlook for convenience. Next time, I'll bring my swimsuit for the hot tub and sauna.
