Steamboat Rock State Park Crown Point

The parking lot is huge. The bathroom is on the east side of the lot. It is by the entrance of the parking lot. From this spot, you have a great 360° view of Coulee City and the dam. The circular concrete structure is at the end of the parking lot. There is a sign that gives some history. It was clean and tidy.

Now in disrepair, this once gran monument towered over the completed Grand Coulee dam. This site was the viewpoint from which the project was monitored and today offers one of the best views of the Dam and surrounding communities.

Being here in the area is a great place to visit. Amazing viewpoint over the dam and Lake Roosevelt. Huge parking and utilities available here.

Great day for a walk with a great friend. And an upclose look at some big fat bucks. It was the break I needed thanks to great scenery and a real cool chick.

Seen the sculpture from below so i drove up there. Its gorgeous! Theres also a restroom there. Very clean.
Its a must go to if your in the area

This is a beautiful place on top of a hill where you can see all of grand coulee dam and surrounding areas. It so so breath taking up there i haven't been up there at night but i bet it would be amazing to watch the laser light show from there

One of our favorite locations. Just wish parks kept up on it more. Some great people were taking the trash away.

Excellent view from the top. I hiked up the Candy Point Trail and traversed over to the viewing area.

Awesome view of Grand Coulee Dam.

Quite. Irrigated lawns. Beautiful landscape. Very clean and well maintained facilities. No bugs!....due to ariel spraying. Excellent lake access. Easy 15 minute drive to Grand Coulee dam. Several hiking trails. We were there Memorial Day when desert was still green and in bloom. Wind conditions vary quickly from calm to gusty.

Spent the past 6 years coming here year after year. One of the only parks that don't change with memories.

Unbelievable 360° view point of the dam as well as the entire city, you really see how many different landscapes there are here. Also there is a very cool sun dial and a few small trails. A must see if you are anywhere close to the area. Lots of parking, great place for a picnic!

The parking lot has a lot of potholes and gravel but it's very beautiful, free and the sign is very informative
