I had brisket and two kinds of pork ribs.

The brisket was chopped, which I don't like. But I didn't ask when I ordered so it was not their problem.

Both back ribs and spare ribs were very tender. They have smoke rings but not very strong smoky flavor.

Overall, the price was good for the good BBQ. I'd recommend stopping by.

Made a quick stop and couldn’t be happier. “This might be the best brisket I’ve ever had.” said a person at our table. Sorry, pictures of food are not great because we basically could not resist to start eating before we remembered to take photos for the review. Our new favorite place on Hwy 2!
They also have a store in South Cle Elum at 801 Milwaukee Ave .

Stopped in on the way home from skiing with my 15 yo son and all we can say is, “Wow!”

Brisket was solid (great bark!). The St. Louis style pork ribs stole the show, though. Awesome rub and a light BBQ sauce finish on the meaty, melt-in-your-mouth ribs had us going back for another half rack. Mac and cheese was good and the BBQ beans hit the spot. Beer on tap and a huge $5 milk shake to wash it all down.

Will be back for sure! Good protein for sore legs. :)

We were very happy with our post-hike stop for food and beer. Being a Wednesday at 3pm, there weren't other customers when we arrived, but a few more stopped by during our stay. The food was excellent...very generous portion of meat on the pulled pork sandwich, and the garlic fries and sauce were delicious. We had the 2 Smokey's beers on tap, a strawberry blonde and a hazelnut brown, and enjoyed both, though we were a bit dismayed by the usage of plastic cups...Hopefully this is just temporary. Overall, a great spot to stop on your next trip up Highway 2, and we plan to return soon.

This is my new post ski/hike/outdoor adventure meal spot! I have been 3 times and tried something different each visit; consistently great! Their location in Skykomish makes it perfect because you don't have to wait to get great food when you are starving after getting outside. I was sad that they ran out of Mac and Cheese the last time I went, but it gave me the opportunity to try the potato salad which I enjoyed. I recommend the St. Louis Ribs and the Hot Links. My friend, who has dietary restrictions, ordered the Cornmeal Catfish and loved his meal.

Now for a bit of constructive criticism, they are a bit pricey but not overly so. Their parking lot needs a little better flow and as of right now they do not brew beer even though they call themselves a brewery. Don't fear, however, they still have good craft on tap.

I am interested to see how this restaurant grows and finds their stride. As I said above, they plan on brewing beer and they are going to open an espresso stand. I will go back again and again to help support and grow their business, please do the same!

Excellent bbq! Got the 3 meat platter with collard greens, Mac n cheese and beans, being from the south I didn't expect to find good bbq in WA but this was good, mac n cheese was 11/10 and the baby back ribs were 5 stars!

FINALLY! A delicious place to eat on Highway 2 after a day in the mountains. Some friends and I stopped off for a meal after frolocking in the woods for a Christmas tree. The Big Bear is now open with delicious BBQ and beer. Smokey's BBQ is now in this beautiful space. They just opened up last week. We ordered at the counter and within 10 minutes our food was at our table. The pulled pork, sweet potatoe fries and Mac and cheese were out of this world delicious. My friends got the BBQ bowl and a sandwich which were scrumptious. James was so great, he even came by from the kitchen to say hi and check in on how our experience was. The staff were wonderful. They will eventually have a brewery and additional seating available along with an outdoor patio. This is my new spot to stop at on the way back from the mountains. We will be back.

I’d have to say this is the best BBQ in all of Washington State. Also only 1 server crushing it and giving service that one could only dream other restaurants could give post pandemic. The chicken and ribs were my favorite! I could write more but I need to get back to eating!

Very good food, the brisket and pulled pork were great but the Mac and cheese really stole the show. 12/10 on the mac and cheese.

Awesome BBQ Ribs and Brisket.. That's all I could Eat.. Their Homemade Cornbread is to Die For.. And make sure you ask for their Spicy BBQ Sauce also.. I even took some home.. They were Doing a BBQ Competition for Tunneling Days with several prominent Q'ers from around the state and There BBQ was hands-down the Best.. Will be Back with a Bib..

Our party of four ordered two 3-meat sampler platters. That worked pretty well for us and everything on them was excellent! We had brisket, pulled pork, BBQ chicken, hot link sausage, and ribs. We thoroughly enjoyed all of them! The sides were good also. The restaurant host and Chef really seemed to care about their customer's experience. We thought they treated us really well.

There's almost but not quite enough tetanus on the outside, and the interior is definitely too clean and thus my expectation for good bbq was low. I was pleasantly surprised that it was actually quite delicious, not shack-in-rural-GA good but still good. I liked how they didn't chop all the fat off the brisket like a lot of grill masters do. In fact, they served lean and fatty together which was a nice touch. The rub could use some more cayenne for my taste but good for kids. A lot of negative reviews mention small servings -- yes, the servings are smaller than most BBQ places. Well, America, your coronary plaque is already thick enough; three slices of brisket is plenty.

Well worth the stop.. Sometimes is hard to slow down at 65mph..
But it is a must..
We will be stopping there again.. Next time driving over the pass..
Probably grabbing some BBQ ribs and taking them to grandma's house..
They even have ice cream and lattes😁

We finally stopped to try Smokey's BBQ and we are so glad we did. Amazing service from our server. She helped us order and was a delight to talk with. I love when you ask what's the best thing on the menu or most popular and she says everything is excellent. The kids checked out their toys for sale and picked out special rocks. We ordered a rib kids meal, just ribs, chicken bowl and the beef brisket with coleslaw and fries. We loved everything! Best ribs I've ever had and my husband said the brisket was perfect. The chef even came out to ask us how everything was. Talk about pride in your work. The employees definitely care about making their customers happy. We got ice cream to go too! We will definitely be back and tell our friends.

What a gem! Great beer selection, great food, great outdoor seating.

Even though it is a pretty traditional BBQ place there was plenty for me as a vegetarian. My meat loving husband says the barbecue is delicious. The sides are awesome, we wished we could try them all. We'll definitely be stopping here anytime we are in the area!

We stopped here for lunch after skiing at Steven’s Pass. Food was delicious! We ordered a sausage sandwich and brisket plate with mac n cheese, collared greens, and dirty rice as sides. Even the sides were extremely flavorful! We also bought their sweet and Smokey BBQ sauce which they sell in 12 ounce bottles (along with 3 other flavors). I will definitely visit Smokey’s again!

Food was great, especially the brisket and baked beans. Staff was super friendly and the family loved being able to get hand scooped ice cream right there. Even has bottled homemade BBQ sauce and rubs to purchase. We will definitely be back.

Outstanding barbecue the best we've had in Washington. We ate the pulled pork and brisket platters with potato salad, french fries, baked beans, and mac and cheese. The sides were all on point. The service was amazing. The pit master even came and said hello to all the tables. The homemade barbecue sauces were also stellar and all different. Would highly recommend to anyone who passes by, stop here and get you some barbecue. It is the bomb.

Ok, this place seriously deserves success. The family have won national BBQ awards and it shows, the food was superb. The brisket had red smoke rings and retained delicious smokey flavor. The ribs also fell apart! The bread and butter pudding was one of the best I've had.

Really friendly staff, great beer selection and the perfect spot to stop on the way home from the mountains! Irrespective of what was there before, this is a brand new and really quality BBQ joint!

We tried the Pulled Pork Sliders and a Brisket Sandwich with Mac n Chz and Potato Salad. Everything was delicious. The meat was tender and flavorful and the sides were a perfect match. We ordered To Go and the staff was friendly and the food was ready very quickly. They had an outdoor seating area from the looks of it as well. Very happy to see a great bbq joint go into this location. We will be back.
