42nd Street Cafe and Bistro

So disappointed we did not know of this gem in Long Beach, WA sooner. I always try biscuits and gravy were ever I can, and I would put their biscuit and gravy up against anyone. We loved the breakfast so much we returned for dinner. It did not disappoint. The food here is phenomenal and the staff were incredible. A must go if you're anywhere in the NW part of the country. Worth the drive!!

My husband and I had breakfast here after being rained out of our campsite on checkout day. It is a cute cafe with a welcoming atmosphere. Service was perfect. We loved our meals! We both had "eggs and meat" - I had eggs with house made sausage and he had eggs with bacon. Meals came with red potatoes and a choice of toast served with an interesting marionberry conserve. We just had to add on a side of French toast for "dessert". The quality of food was truly outstanding, as was the coffee. The meal wasn't cheap but you get what you pay for. We would definitely eat here again if in the area.

BEST BREAKFAST WE HAVE EVER HAD. Totally surprised to find such a gem right in Long Beach!! Perfect omelette, next-level Brioche French Toast, the BEST mimosa, and my husband’s eggs, bacon, and everything was perfect. Zero complaints. Great service too. You can tell whoever is in the kitchen really cares about what they are putting out.

We stumbled on this little gem during a visit, and it instantly became our place. The atmosphere was amazing, light and friendly. The house was packed, but the service never lacked, and always with a friendly face.
The food was phenomenal! Homemade, creative, and wonderful. Serving size was perfect.
Definitely a place to seek out anytime you visit! Make sure to read the history on the back of the menu, it'll warm your heart.

This place has amazing breakfast! We went there twice while staying in the area for vacation this week. The eggs Benedict (available Saturday and Sundays), french toast and quiche are delicious! Servers are friendly and attentive. I highly recommend eating breakfast here.

Absolutely fantastic food and service! I ordered the mushroom ravioli with Alfredo sauce instead of tomato sauce....OMG phenomenal! The no bake cheesecake was incredible! The razor clams were so tender and not chewy! Amazing! Highly recommend.

This place is AMAZING!!! The staff was kind and the food was so delicious. My family and I were in the area for a few days and this was by far the best meal we had. The Pot Roast Hash...I can't begin to describe how good it was. The Smoked Sturgeon Scramble was so tasty.
We will definitely be going back next time we are remotely in the area

Came for breakfast. Seated immediately by a nice gentleman. Restaurant was reasonably quiet and has a bistro feel. Got the Salmon Scramble and loved every bite. A definite recommendation and I hope to return soon to try other things.

Wow, the food is amazing. The 8 hour roast beef was surprisingly excellent for breakfast. Service was great. Do yourself a favor and order something with toast so you can try the Marion Berry jam, best jam of my life.

Wow!!! What a change from your normal breakfast destination. Amazing food and amazing service. My quiche was incredible and my husband’s chicken fried steak was the best we’ve had. We even got another side of toast just to have some more of their signature jam. We will be back.

Everything was good. Daughter and everyone ate good. The dish here was amazing. Im definitely a fan of sea food, and the seafood stew hit the spot. Would definitely recommend.

Busy breakfast spot but managed to get a table right away wait time less that 5 minutes. Fast service. I got a vegetarian omelette with potatoes(well seasoned), sourdough bread & a thin slice of orange. Their homemade jam was glorious.

This restaurant has quite the history! Be sure to read the biography when you visit. I came for breakfast and noticed that they use Willcox Farms organic eggs! Delicious eggs if you haven't tried. Their house coffee is delicious as well. No need to order espresso drinks. The coffee is very smooth. No after acidity.
I highly recommend if you're visiting the town.

A nice calm place to enjoy breakfast alone, or with friends. I got the Country Fried Steak breakfast, delicious. Sat for an hour to eat it all. Come to find out my plate was on the house. What good service!!

We had come into town for a weekend getaway that wasn’t what we planned initially but went with the flow...This place was above any of my expectations when we pulled up. Inside was so bright & welcoming. The service was inviting and warm. We started off with drinks and an appetizer. Our entrees were the best we have ever had - the chicken fried steak was so well done & the mashed potatoes with green onion & garlic were exactly how mashed potatoes should be made. My husband ended up ordering dessert and I had to make room for it by taking some of my steak dinner home. It was a lemon concoction that was gorgeous and so yummy. We will be back to try their breakfast and lunch options and I highly recommend that you do as well.

Food here is fantastic. Made with fresh ingredients by a chef who puts love and attention into everything they make. My dad was raving about this place and took me for breakfast. A new place to keep coming back to on my frequent trips to the coast.

Wow! First, the food was excellent. We started with beet salad. My wife and friend had razor clams, another friend had sturgeon. I'm vegetarian, I found the mushroom ravioli to be delicious. For dessert, we split a tiramisu and homemade ice cream. Our server Juan did a great job. Prices were reasonable.

It was so good we were back the next morning for breakfast. My wife had Willapa Bay oysters, which she reported were fresh and delicious. We also split and order of New Orleans beignets.I had the blueberry waffles with blueberry syrup, it was wonderful.

We highly recommend the 42nd Street Cafe if you're on the Long Beach Peninsula.

Lovely restaurant! We visited for the first time in Easter. There was a very short wait. The menu had so many yummy choices. Our food was delicious. I will definitely come back . The restaurant was clean and stylish and the staff was great!

Delicious bteakfast meal. Hardworking staff. We had the chicken fried steak and roast beef hash. Both were delightful home-cooked flavors. Thank you! We'll be back for sure.....

Isaac was a great server and took care of us as we enjoyed literally cleaning our plates. A great hidden gem. Beignets, wow. Waffles stuff with bacon, wow! The bread, jame, everything!!
