Capers + Olives is a very good Italian Restaurant, with outstanding service and good food. The Focaccia Bread and Rigatoni were exceptional dishes. The meatballs had good flavor, but were chewy in the center. The chefs cook in the open, so you can see your meals being prepared. This is a great choice, if you enjoy Italian Food.

This place is the best! The food is absolutely delicious, especially the fresh pasta. It was very crowded on a Friday evening. We did not have a reservation, but they were nice enough to squeeze us in. Definitely a gem and a must try!

Had a great date dinner on Friday night. Good to make a reservation, it's pretty steady from 4:30 on. The service is great, very attentive and personable. The food is fabulous. The rigatoni is piping hot and delicious. Mary's chicken is juicy and flavorful. Great spot for a couples dinner!

My expectations for this place were very high and it did not disappoint! I'm from Italy, on vacation to Seattle to see my boyfriend, and we had a lovely dinner date in this restaurant. I was curious to see how authentic the food was, and I can confirm that it was both authentic and delicious! I tried the focaccia and the rigatoni, the focaccia was crispy and the rigatoni was so creamy and rich, they nailed the taste using local ingredients. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a taste of real pasta!

Tonight we dined at our friend Chef Jimmy’s Caper and Olives.
We have known Jimmy for many years, from his time at Terracotta Red, a Chinese Fusion restaurant..
His background includes “The Herb Farm” a Five Diamond Restaurant in Woodinville.

The restaurant has an open exhibition kitchen where you can observe the chef in action.
He makes his own pastas and his food is comparable to the finest dining places in Seattle.

It had been a while since we visited Jimmy. He saw us walking in the door and came from behind the kitchen to hug me and welcome us.

The restaurant is quaint and eclectic and oozes warmth and is very welcoming.

We started with Focaccia bread, served with herb butter and sea salt.

Next, we had a Pear Salad with truffle salt, thyme and pine nuts and a Baby Kale Salad with apple slices, chopped hazelnuts, parmesan and burnt vinaigrette dressing.

Our first entree choice was the Paccheri Pasta with gulf prawns, fennel, sofritto, tomatoes and chili.
For the second entree, we chose Halal Mary’s Chicken served with polenta, radicchio, and au jus.

For dessert, Chef Jimmy surprised us with a complimentary buttermilk Panna Cotta with rhubarb and shortbread crumble.

As always, everything was delicious and the taste was out of this world.

I would encourage you to visit this excellent restaurant.

I really love this restaurant, everything I’ve had there is fantastic. I’m obsessed with their burrata and cavatelli. Only con is it is a small space so if you don’t have a reservation (especially on the weekend) you may be SOL.

Saturday was my first time here, but I can't stop thinking about this dinner two days later and can't wait to come back.
The service was quick and kind, and you can tell the staff works as a unit, with the chef bringing dishes to tables, and offering dessert specials, as the servers keep the pace flowing. It was such a relaxing and special experience.
The food was so fresh and delicious, from the outstanding focaccia served steaming and bruschetta appetizer (unfortunately, not pictured, more so good I forgot to take a photo and I was right), to the fresh pasta that was almost impossible to pick just one because they all sounded amazing, to the best strawberry shortcake I've ever had - this seasonal, farm-fresh menu went beyond my expectations. I can't stop talking about or thinking about this shortcake... We were there for happy hour on a Saturday, and we got a table right away, but it started to fill up before leaving, so if you're going for dinner on a busy night, I recommend reservations, just to be safe.
I cannot wait to come back and be blown away again!

I tried this restaurant when it first opened and didn't care for it. I'm so happy I tried it again. Very unusual menu where the chef puts flavors together you would never think of but is totally delicious. I'll definitely be back. We sat outside, and it was lovely. Inside is a little loud with wood floors and furniture but not too bad. I recommend a reservation on weekends or if dining before a show at the Everett Historic Theater. Street corn appetizer is fantastic and pasta dishes were delivered.

Adorable little place. Patio space limited.
Exquisite. A truly fantastic dining experience. Authentic, phenomenal, yummy food in a cool space. Great service, wine, appetizers, and mains. Dessert the panna cotta was not my favorite.

I recommend ordering a bunch of dishes and sharing. They sellout quick so plan to do dinner earlier than usual to catch all amazing dishes. Reservations are a must!

Small place, homey vibe. The server recommended some items and they were very accommodating with dietary restrictions. Loved all the food and drinks we had, the environment was great and had an awesome time with friends.

This is quaint small spot for celebration dinner! We made reservations at least a week in advance. There are serveral vegetarian options like the beets, castelvetrano olives and broccoli! The olives were warmed and delicious! The broccoli was charred and crunchy, although we asked them to hold the anchovies. To accommodate our vegetarians. We all had delicious pastas. Mine was the Paccheri with shrimp which I devoured. The service was fine. The noise level was a bit high because there were a lot of diners in a small place.

Had the best time at capers+olives tonight. The service was outstanding. We always felt taken care of and never wanted for anything. Absolutely top notch service.
The owner also intervened to find us a table even though everything was reserved.
The food was amazing. Amongst the best Italian we've had in the area.
Would definitely come back.

Capers + olives is one of the best spots in Everett! I've been several times when I visit the region over the past few years and have never been disappointed! I am particularly fond of their traditional Italian cocktails and their delectable flavor pairings for both dishes and drinks.

Nice place in Everett. Tiny and fills up pretty quick, reservations are a good idea.
Overall delicious! all the food we ordered was fantastic.
The burrata was amazing!
We tried Strozzapreti and Bucatini, really good flavors.
My son ordered the NY steak, medium rare, they brought it rare to the table and already cut (we prefer the meats uncut), but they fixed it and it was very tender and juicy.
Drinks were superb! Great service!
Didn't care much for the panna cotta.
Not cheap, so be prepared-
Coming back for sure!

Very delicious meal in a cozy spot. All 4 dishes we tried tasted phenomenal...duck breast was tender and flavorful with tasty squash, the pork chop was a generous portion and also very tender, cavatelli was hearty and filling, and scallops were very buttery and rich, though the overall dish size on that was a little on the under side, leaving one in our party still hungry at the end. Very happy with the drinks and service as well, though it can get a little loud being such a small space and having the kitchen completely open. Otherwise, nice to have a good fine-dining option in downtown Everett!

WOW! We are blown away. Didn’t know what to expect as we made our reservation for dinner and everything was outstanding! The service was phenomenal, the vibe felt like we were in the chefs kitchen, and the food....hands down some of the best we’ve had. Will absolutely be coming back!

Our favorite cute little Italian spot in Everett!! Such a hidden gem, but if you know then you know!!
The ambiance is cozy and intimate with a nice bustle and buzz around, the service is fantastic, and the food is absolutely delectable. I’ve yet to have a dish I didn’t love from here. Pasta usually makes me feel bloated after eating, but the handmade pasta here never does!
We love brining friends and fam from out of town here for dinner and they are always so pleasantly surprised this is Everett! Definitely call ahead and make reservations, but you can usually get in same day/night which is nice.

Can’t wait to come back for a dirty martini and pasta again!

Came here around 5 on a Friday evening and didn’t have reservations. There were only a couple of other tables seated so it wasn’t super busy. Service was a little slow at the beginning but wasn’t an issue at all once we ordered our food. The appetizers were fantastic, and we all enjoyed the dishes. They had a bit of heat that was unexpected but very tasty. Overall a nice dinner at a new restaurant. Will be back! Looking forward to seeing what’s on the menu next time.

The best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. The pasta is made fresh daily. The Rigatoni is amazing. The meatball and burrata appetizers are so so good. Last night they had scallops on the menu and ....omg! They were cooked perfectly and truly the best I have ever had. The place is small and cozy andI love the open kitchen. It was packed on a Friday night. Make a reservation because it's hard to get a table otherwise.
