Stopped on my trip from Michigan to Idaho with my dog. Awesome Omelette, potatoes, sour dough toast and black coffee!! Great friendly efficient staff. A bit of human connection. Back in my truck on the road West in 30 minutes! Planning to see them on the flip side. 5 star!

Ate breakfast there on 7/9/2023. Breakfast was very yummy and the service was friendly and extremely quick. Never had an empty coffee mug.

In town and needed to find a place open for breakfast. Fast and friendly service. Great portions and great food. Very clean place. Will be back when in Havre again.

Excellent breakfast & homemade cinnamon rolls. Server Dolan was very helpful when we talked about our traveling to Glacier National Park & recommended where to go/stay.
Breakfast burrito was great & the ham steak was more than I could eat.

We always stop, on our way from Alberta to the USA. Excellent food, always fast and friendly. Top rated biscuits and gravy.

Traveled across the country and wanted an excellent experience in breakfast. We found Char's Family Restaurant in Havre, Montana to be just the right place! Good/friendly service, our breakfast was delicious, very good coffee, too. I looked around and the restaurant offered a homey atmosphere. Cleanliness is important to me (even the ceiling lights were clean 🙂) and the ladies room was immaculate. As we left, the help waved goodbye and wished us a great day! Perfect! Thank you! Went for breakfast food was excellent! Service was great. A little higher priced than I expected but service & food made it a little easier to adjust to.

We are all the way from Texas seeing family. They took us to Char’s for breakfast one morning. Absolutely some of the nicest people we have ever met. Food came out so quick, was fresh and hot, and was some of the best breakfast I have ever had!!

That bacon and sourdough toast was AMAZING.

The food was actually amazing! Definitely a nice hangout place for some friends to go and relax with. The employees are very easy-going as well. They’re also very funny, their bathrooms were labeled “Irish-settlers” for women and “Irish-pointers” for men.

Small town atmosphere with great service. Food and drinks were delicious as always and the amount of food you get for the price is perfect.

Top notch to say the least. Exceptional in all regards. The food was only topped by the magnificent skill by which our waiter was able to serve not only us but a full restaurant as well. Me and my wife left with a full belly and a warmed heart from this mans kindness and care for others.

I would recommend this place to anyone. I haven't been in town very long and have stopped here a few times, but I adore them. The food is tasty and reasonably priced, but you can't beat the staff. The staff is why I keep coming back, they're always so nice to me and I get treated like family instead of an inconvenience like some places.
