Frontier Motel

I got into Winnemucca NV after dark and Googled for a motel for the night. I was looking for a quiet place just like this. The reviews are great with one exception but she (Sara) is a sour grape. There's one in every bunch who want to cause trouble. Suri the manager is Awesome and her staff are great!! She was absolute pleasure to deal with and the beds are fabulous. Just what you need after a long day of driving. Great water pressure in the shower too. The place was full by dark. If I ever come this way again I'll stay here.

It is what it is for the money. The heat worked. Great water pressure in the bathroom. Quiet. old and run down but looked wiped down. The guy that checked us was very nice. I've paid more for worse. We only stayed long enough to sleep as we were on our way to the coast.

Dear Mr. Previous Marin County Motel owner, It was a pleasure talking with you upon your check-out. Apparently the revamping & extreme cleanliness here was below your prior beach front property standards. There is no complimentary breakfast, no fancy shampoos, nor do I give backrubs. You should know, there IS the option for immediate check out & go elsewhere. You were a sour grape checking in & a sour, snooty, disrespectful grape checking out. What you said about "where I come from..." ! Wow! Well, wherever YOU come from, Jerkville USA, needs you back home, immediately! Thank you, have a nice day.

Very homey, beds were comfortable, and the family that owns the place is very nice. Would stay again without hesitation, many of the issues addressed in previous bad reviews have been fixed.

Only stayed for one night on our trip home from phoenix, price was very fair, room was in great condition, clean, very high water pressure, and very quaint, management is wonderful and enjoyable, allows pets which is a big plus, will come again if ever in town

Place is awesome and the manager (Sūri) is the most kind hearted and loving person you'll ever meet. This motel is a definite MUST!!!

Parking lot may have been a bit tough for my U-haul but nice nights sleep in a ba room

Charming, simple, well priced for those on a budget. With a bonus of free wifi. Beautiful view of the mountains. Very close to the local downtown shopping community.

I will stay here again if the option occurs.

The only downside, was the vintage heater, it's extremely efficient and my tired self couldn't figure out how to adjust it.

Update: Stayed again, got a different room, ran into some of the issues some of the other reviewers have mentioned. Of the 2 rooms I've been in room 14 has the better mattress. On a seasonal note, the little room ac unit is very efficient, hubby had it on & I about froze.

This is a quaint older motel, with ammenities, and a price that match. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and roomy. For this class of motel (older, small town, family owned operation) it's 4 stars. I used to be a tour bus operator, and have stayed in just about every level of hotel over the years. Everything works, they have wifi, cable, and a fridge. There's no mold, no sign of rodents or insects, no sign of bullet holes in the ceilings (I've even stayed in one like that). The hotel staff is friendly and efficient. They allow pets for a nominal fee.

Had a great stay, room was clean and great service. Bed is a lil hard for my liking but works.

Room was slightly drafty but otherwise, no complaints. A good cheap room, and it was very clean.

Nice. Clean. Kind staff. Great parking lot. Enjoyed it. Quiet.

Frontier motel is an awesome place to stay, just wish wifi was better.
