If you looking for a small town cafe, this is it. Food is good. Staff is friendly and the place is clean.

I had the blackberry cobbler yesterday. Not loaded with surgar, it was wonderful.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon and was impressed. Delicious mozzarella sticks, gorgeous chicken fried steak, sides were delectable. Service was great. Atmosphere reminds me of a western town. ♥♥♥♥

The food and the service here is outstanding! I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and fried okra. Everything was delicious and the steak was huge. Haley was the server and she did a great job. Would highly recommend this hidden gem!

Great little hometown place! I had a burger and fries which was very good. Seemed a little short staffed but could have just been due to the time of day, mid afternoon. Definitely will be back.

This really is a fantastic little cafe in Troup, Texas. I just recently moved here and have to say that it has become my local go to. Imagine just good ol' home cooking and that's what you will get here.

The prices are amazing. You can get a pulled pork sandwich, sweet potato fries and a drink for $7. But that's not the only good food to be had. Really anything on the menu is a good, reasonably priced meal.

But the real prize of this place is the staff. Small town friendly and real people who connect with their customers and service with heart.

I have to give a shout out to Savannah, who is a fantastic waitress who I've watched first hand care for people in an exceptional way at this restaurant.

This isn't gourmet food or fancy dining. But if you're looking for a warm meal at an exceptional price with the friendliest service, then this is the right place.

Wow 👏 good eatin! The small catfish platter huge filets and delicious, loved those sides! Okra and sweet potato fries! The chocolate fudge pie 🥧 😋 😍... Best waitress, so pleasant and quick to serve!

Little Ma and Pa Americana cafe a little off the main road. Serves stuff like Hamburgers and lots of fried things. Good deep south flavor with local high school pride.

The food is excellent. Their pulled pork sandwiches are delicious. The chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken breast are amazing! The only downside is the service can be absolutely glacial at times

The waitresses are very friendly and fast service. The cooks make really good food and big servings. It is also kid friendly they make you feel at home, they also have snow cones that my boys love with many flavors.

WOW! What an excellent local stop! Some fantastic fried catfish, fries, okra, chicken, pies, and service! This one goes on the favorites list. I'll be sure to stop by and try some of their other menu items next time I drive though. This is the "real deal".

Stopped by here around 130pm passing through town for work. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with fries as well as the daily meatloaf special to take home for dinner. My coworker ordered a smoked turkey breast sandwich with fries.

We received our sandwiches pretty quick. My pulled pork sandwich tasted delicious and was a very generous portion. The fries were delicious and also a very generous portion. I managed to eat about half my sandwich and most my fries and will definitely be saving it for lunch tomorrow. My coworker really loved her smoked turkey breast sandwich stating it was moist and flavorful and finished the whole thing.

Our BBQ sandwiches were served with a little tray of 3 different types of BBQ sauces in squirt bottles. I'm probably going to get the names wrong but I believe the sauce options were original, sweet, and spicy. I did not try the original but the spicy bbq was awesome. I also tried the sweet bbq and it was great as well. I ended up using a combination of those two on my sandwich.

I just sampled a little bit of the meatloaf now that I'm home to see what it tastes like and it's pretty darn good.

Great tasting food in generous portions for a very fair price.

The two ladies working checked in on us numerous times and were very friendly and accommodating. They provided great service.

Great place! We had breakfast while there to pick up a family dinner order. Everything was perfect, and the service was also the best I've seen in awhile. Will definitely go back.

We met here for our second Tuesday Luncheon today, with a special purpose in mind. I had talked to John (the manager) last Tuesday about a birthday party for our oldest church member. Bryan will be 85 in a couple of days, and we wanted to celebrate both his age and his faithfulness. There were 11 of us who met there, ate lunch, had birthday cake (ordered in advance) and we could not have been fed better, treated better, or more satisfied.

This local restaurant was perfect. We ate there every morning for breakfast and several evening meals. Wayne's cooking was great! He was kind and generous and greeted us every time he was there. The waitresses were friendly and helpful. I particularly liked the Western Omelette and pulled pork sandwiches.

We came here for breakfast and ordered the tiger plate. We got so much food! Biscuit, eggs, bacon, hash browns. Our server was very sweet! Will be coming back!

It is one of our favorite places to eat in Troup. It was very well priced as well.

Update: May 12 2023. Still love coming here to eat! But due to staff shortage you'll need to be patient for your meal as it take some time for it to come out.
