I ordered a strawberry cake and cupcakes for a 60th birthday party. The birthday girl and guests could not stop talking about how delicious they were!! The cake was multi-layered with filling in between, and the cupcakes also had a filling inside. I have included photos. (I added the crown and "60" candles/picks.) I highly recommend!

The best tomato soup I have ever had in my life. I had the ratatouille moment where I flash-backed to my childhood after the first bite.

Love this place. We randomly chose to try this place once. Wife and I are now returning customers, great food and coffee.

Great hidden place for breakfast. Food was great, served quickly and prepared perfectly to our order. No frills plates but good portions. Great mocha frappe coffee! I might even dare to say it was better than Starbucks.
Spent around $30+ for breakfast for 2 adults, everything included. You order at the register then they bring you the food to the table. The wait staff was courteous and always helpful. Well worth the visit. Will be coming for breakfast often!
... update: second visit just as wonderful!!! Come early to avoid crowds tho...

This restaurant has delicious food and baked goods . It’s located in The Woodlands, Texas and family owned and operated. We stopped in for lunch the day before Thanksgiving. It was very crowded but the staff was very friendly and handled it well. I had soup 🥣 and a croissant 🥐 turkey 🦃 sandwich 🥪 with Swiss cheese🧀 . The soup was vegetable 🍅 beef 🥩 and homemade. All of the food is homemade and they had many orders for holiday cakes 🧁, pies 🥧, cookies 🍪 and brownies. I would definitely go back.

This is a mom and pop restaurant/bakery. The entire staff makes you feel at home. The food is flavorful without unnecessary delays. The cupcakes are to die for. The powdered brownie bites will leave you addicted. It's just a really nice place to enjoy great food. Did I mention the cupcakes?! We enjoyed the coconut, carrot cake, white chocolate raspberry, dark chocolate raspberry, pistachio, caramel chocolate, wedding cake, and oreo cookie.

A wonderful cafe for breakfast and dessert!! Their service is fast and friendly. I enjoyed it so much I went back the next week with my family.

The folks here are really nice and the food is really good. Lots of well-lit parking, clean, and family-friendly. The menu has a lot of variety and the burgers are one of my new favorites. The pastries you should avoid -- they might be habit-forming. :D

We’ve been eating here for years.
The food is always delicious. I usually get a yummy veggie and cheese omelette.
But…I really enjoy indulging in their baked goods.

Great experience start to finish. Staff was super helpful (first time here). Food was tasty and portion size was huge. Dessert case has amazing treats.

Great little cafe with good food. We enjoyed our stop in here for breakfast while leaving Houston. The servers were very friendly and offered several recommendations on what we should get. They provided coloring sheets and colors for the kids, and parents 😁, while waiting.

Breakfast was delicious. Wifey enjoyed her chicken/waffle meal. I had The Big Forest breakfast which I enjoyed though it's a big meal. All in all the service is good and their pastries look mouthwatering. We'll be back 😁

Great hidden gem! Ideal place for a relaxing breakfast, also good coffee! I had Huevos rancheros and chai tea. Also had their coffee several times. Everything excellent and good service. Recommended

Great breakfast! We love the corned beef hash and the kids pancake breakfast is ample. Great coffee and delicious looking desserts. I tried the California Benedict today and it was very good. It can get a little tight when it gets busy because it's a small place.

Very nice place, have always passed by but never stopped and ate until today. I had a pancake breakfast with 2 eggs and sausage. Everything was very tasty and cooked to my liking. It didnt take long to get my food either. Would recommend.

Fantastic place! Old school diner/deli vibe. Awesome staff and incredible menu. LOVE that they serve breakfast all day. Fabulous hash and you've got to try the JOE TEA in glass bottles - Delish!

First time eating here and was not let down! The service is super sweet! The food was absolutely delicious and so filling! I tried the chorizo burrito and it was jam packed with flavor! I also had a caramel coffee and it was super smooth!

Will absolutely be coming back!

My daughter’s birthday cupcakes were the biggest hit at her party - kids and adults alike! I will always use Forest for any baked good from here on out. The cake itself was great texture and taste, the little filling was a fun extra, and the icing was a perfect creamy blend that wasn’t overly sweet. Everybody is still complimenting the cupcakes weeks later.

I was also extremely lost on what type of theme and decorations. They were so understanding and really helped out. Can’t recommend them enough!

Breakfast served all day, and I always get the biscuits and gravy so delish. They also have great cupcakes,cinnamon rolls, and the option to get slices of cake as well. Family owned and operated here in our local woodlands area.

Amazing local family owned business. Staff are nice, food is delicious, and the atmosphere, quaint. We can't at a good time, however I can see it filling up quickly.
