Great experience and tour guide gave great insight and information about the facility. I’m glad I took the time to check this place out and highly recommend if you’re in the area. Me and my small family had a great time. 10/10!!!

Free to see the displays and animals in the main room. Small cost for a tour of the rescue animals out side. The staff absolutely love these animals. It’s small and stinky. Nothing fancy about it. But the animals are loved, and happy and it’s so lovely to hear the guide talk so passionately about each animal. Really great place that does so much for the wildlife.

You should definitely make a reservation for a tour of this facility, which operates on donations, to see the indigenous and displaced animals they house here for medical care and rehabilitation.
From Sea Turtles, to turtles, tortoises, an owl, hawks, a porcupine, and a few I can't quite remember, as well as amphibians, and snakes inside in their separate cages, to look at.
Our tour guide was great, telling us why each animal ended up in trouble and the measures taken to care for them and how to protect yourself and each creature to prevent harm to them in our daily lives

Nothing negative to say! Thoroughly enjoyed seeing the turtles(other animals)and learning how they're being cared for. Tour was short/definitely tolerable for small kids but worth it! Staff is friendly!

This place is absolutely amazing. If you visit corpus christi, you hsve to come. The staff here has great passion for animals, they gave walk through tour and explain how they rescue the animal and how humans can help them. It is very pleasant yet educational visit.
Also very suitable for family with kids.

It’s a small place, but the work they’ve done is pretty cool considering they survive on donations, souvenirs, and tours. The tours are scheduled; we called ahead and made a reservation (a quick and easy process).

The inside area (free to view) had tanks to see that held reptiles and amphibians, along with a shop corner.

The tour itself was outside and lasted about 30 minutes. Our tour guide was very nice and clearly passionate about his work (by the way all the people there are volunteers). He answered all our questions and kept it entertaining. It was very educational and it was neat to see the turtles being rehabilitated and the long-term animals. The tour was $9 per person, a reasonable price in my opinion, taking into account the fact that they rely on business and donations.

Overall, a cool little experience, would recommend!

This is a small rescue but they do have quite a few turtles, the guides are well educated on all the animals housed at the facility. They are very friendly and willing to answer any questions. They allow you to touch/pet seversl of the animals. Great cause, educational, worth the $9 entrance fee!

I love what they're doing.

The volunteers are all very kind and you can tell they care about the environment. We took the tour with Carson (I hope I spelled his name right) and the knowledge and his presentation skills were on point. He did a great job of keeping the older kids and adults engaged. My 2 year old was being a small monster, and he did a great job of not letting that distract him. I appreciate his patience and everything he was able to teach us. Tickets were $9, and my 2 under 2 were free for the tour.

Super informative and nice staff with a good cause. Inside is free however they accept donations. If you would like a tour it's $9 person and totally worth it. There were rescued turtles and birds and there is a turtle you can pet.

A small non-profit, they are doing great work here. The tour ($9 per person) took about 45 minutes, and you got to see both permanent residents (who can’t be released back into the wild for various reasons) and animals being actively treated and rehabilitated. As a heads up, the tour is all outdoors, so it’s warm!

Lovely place to visit and see rescued animals in person. Our tour gal was very knowledgeable and fun. Got some cute low priced souvenirs too. Must go!

The dedicated volunteers of Texas Sea Life Center Corpus Christi do an amazing and important job so please support them.

A great place for all ages to enjoy a fun and interesting hour. For just nine bucks, the volunteers will take you on a tour to see all the rescued animals like turtles, tortoises, kestrels and even an African porcupine.

Fabulous little rehab center for aquatic life. The permanent residents are fun too! A giant porcupine, confiscated tortoises, & birds… all call this place home year-round.

The staff is charming & the gift shop is quaint.

Support the do-goodery vibe & schedule a tour ASAP!

Came across the Texas Sealife Center as we looked for things to do in Corpus that did not involve getting scorched on a beach. Stopped in on a whim and ended up having a lovely time. Guided tour was educational, various rescued animals were lovely to see, and, perhaps best of all, we got to meet Boris (the crankiest tortoise we have ever met). Highly recommend stopping by and seeing all that the center has to offer. Particularly Boris who is quite the charmer.

This was such a wonderful activity! We are locals but have never been here. We have an out of town guest and took her here as an activity. This was so fun! In fact, I enjoyed this more than the aquarium ☺
All of the people here are volunteers, so you know they are passionate about the animals in their care. There are many different types of turtles here, but also other reptiles, birds, and even a porcupine!
I would recommend this to anyone visiting or anyone local who has never been.
RECOMMENDATION: Wear/bring bug spray! Part of the tour is outdoors and I got bit by no less than 1,000 mosquitos 😬
I highly highly recommend this place!

What a worth wile organization to support! It's worth checking out simply for the donation to keep the Sealife Center going. Their volunteers are amazing and knowledgeable. It was apparent that they truly cared for the animals they were rehabilitating and caring for long term.

Absolutely love this place. This was our second time coming here and before we came we looked at their wishlist on the website and brought donations for them. We took the tour and our guide was great, you can tell he loves being a volunteer and loves working with the animals. I forgot his name but he's still in high school but has got a great future ahead of him.

Really neat place to visit. We took the tour and got to see all kinds of animals, not just sealife. Turtles, tortoises, hawks, lizards, and a surprisingly friendly and large porcupine. Their “inventory” can vary because they’re regularly rehabbing and releasing the animals, but they have some permanent residents that are worth the trip any time. Definitely recommend a visit if you’re visiting Corpus Christi.
