El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant

Everything was delicious. The menu is large, so it took some time to decide. I settled on #11 -- Carne guisada and cheese enchiladas. My brother ordered the beef enchiladas with Verde sauce. Everything was delicious and plentiful. You will not leave hungry! Our server was also very sweet and friendly.

We were in Kingsville to tour Texas A&M University and stopped to eat there. The food was great. The T-bone steak was great and only cost $14.99.

Came here to check it out cuz we haven't eaten here. Very beautiful art to look at and a very comfortable setting. The food was awesome and not a long wait. The service was friendly and consistent in checking on us. Much check it for yourself.

This place is the Best Mexican Food in Kingsville Texas. I love the Daily Margarita Special with my Meal. They have the most Taco meat options, in the area. There's Tripas, Tongue, and Rocky Mountain Oysters, (Bull Privates).

Everything was nice, calmn place to be & really delicious food. Thank you so much waitress: Marie for going back & forth for our food.

We actually ended up going here for lunch Saturday and then met friends here for breakfast Sunday. Both times the food and service were excellent. I lived in Kingsville 10 years ago and this place just gets better. They have totally renovated the inside. It looks great! We loved the chairs and booth art! I got the al pastor burrito & he got chalupas. Both were fabulous! Their salsa is still to die for. It's my absolute favorite ever & I've had a lot of varieties. They also gave us fried tortillas with our chips. So good and not common in most Mexican restaurants.
For breakfast I got tacos & he got the migas. He'd never had migas before but liked it. One of the kids got big fluffy pancakes. Another ordered a bacon & egg taco but it only had bacon when it came out. The kid talked so much about the bacon & how they wanted it cooked I don't think the server even heard her mention the eggs (she is also a very quiet talker when strangers are around). We just laughed & her mom gave her some of her eggs. I'm sure if we had said something they would have fixed it immediately. I've rarely had an issue with my food here and if I did it was always fixed quickly, no questions asked.

First time here after looking for some where to eat going back home from Kickapoo. After reading the reviews were decided to try this place. The food was amazing and the portions are good so come hungry. Overall we had a great experience and we will be back.

The staff both millennials to Boomers are excellent and make you feel welcomed. Excellent food and love the detailed area on the chairs.

Got a recommendation to eat here from a co-worker and It was amazing! Best carnitas I have had in a long time. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. I have eaten here twice now during travel and I highly recommend it.

A friend recommended this place, so we came out to try the food. We were seated right away. The waiter was really nice, friendly, and polite when we put in our order. As we waited for our food, we noticed the restaurant was very clean. Didn't use the bathrooms on our visit. We gotten our food within 20 mins, it was very hot and fresh. The spicy food was a little more spicier then I hoped. Still the best Mexican food I've had in awhile.

Wow! My wife and I had burritos for dinner. Incredible! She had a regular carnitas burrito and I went with the carne asada burrito dinner, which included rice and beans. OK, the rice was amazing and she agreed. Her carnitas tasted fantastic and my carne was unbelievable! I even took almost half of mine home in a to go box! Well done El Tapatio! Well done!

The pork chop and eggs were very good. Good prices, good service and the place is clean.

We love the breakfast here 🤤 especially the omelettes!! The fajita omelette is our favorite. The staff is always super friendly and helpful which is inviting. We do mostly take-out and it’s always packaged well and with everything you need! The Lunch and dinner Menu online is a bit rough to read so I’m placing pics of it below.

When I come to town I hafta always have a dinner here! Excellent food and margarita

The food is delicious and atmosphere is very comfortable. Most of the time is busy but food comes out hot and tasting great!

While this is not a Hidden Gem in town this is one of my favorite spots to hit for tacos in the morning and for a quick lunch in the afternoon stop on by and enjoy you some great Mexican food

The remodel of the restaurant looks gorgeous. The waiter was great and the food as always when I go was amazing.

The cashier at the drive-thru window was very nice service with a smile she was polite I sure didn't get her name I ordered bean and White cheese nachos it was very good 🥰

This is a must in life if you want to have a good meal and delicious. This is the best place to eat in Kingsville.
