I’ve spent way more time here over the last week than I’ve ever spent at a hospital as a visitor. Inside the emergency room waiting area, it’s clean, quiet (at least momentarily), and organized. The staff was kind and obliging when I entered, frantic and upset.
I was told which room, but got lost because it’s kind of like a maze. But all I took was the confusion on my face and a nurse to notice, and I was pointed in the right direction. This became a regular routine in the days following.
The emergency room itself was a little bit dated, but what do you expect when it’s only temporary to stabilize your loved one?
Every single ember of the staff was fantastic, attentive, kind, and incredibly patient during a situation that was not very pleasant for anyone.
They have a complimentary fountain drink/coffee/hot tea bar which was a savior. Vending is also available.
The flowers and balloons that I later had delivered were cared for beautifully by the nurses as well. Overall A++

A really great experience for us today. I was really worried about my girl but all the nurses and doctors were so nice and were so good to her. The NP on duty even gave her Bluey a check up because she asked. He went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. Thank you Ross, it really meant a lot.

This is a nice hospital. Very clean (even with all of the construction going on). For entertainment, there is a piano that plays itself. The cafeteria had a variety of reasonably priced food options. I had the pizza, which I was able to build. It was very fresh and the customer service was great.

I had my first baby here in May. Who can say they had amazing time birthing a child? Me. From pregnancy through delivery we were truly blessed with exceptional nurses and my lovely doctor. The nurses hugged on me, explained everything patiently, and just treated us like friends and family. The anesthesiologist made sure I was comfortable and calm. My Dr. was just excellent, simply put! As a black woman, maternal mortality is a concern, but we felt we were in great hands. My baby boy was delivered happy, healthy and thriving!

Pre registration for surgery is a well oiled machine. It was so easy and quick.
My surgery was the following morning. Checking in was great
Veronica was so above and beyond with helping my husband with updates.
In pre op Bernie and Mary were great and so helpful! They were born so friendly.
My Drs were Here my pain Dr whom I adore! He has been my Dr for over 20 years and I am truly grateful! Dr Khan and Carl were so sweet and helpful! They were all outstanding! Eric was my post op nurse and also great!
What an amazing experience! If you have to have surgery then do it here! They were so over the top wonderful!

First I have to start way back in April when I was not able to pass stool for 17 days total. After 7 of those days I first went to St. Luke's. Horrible experience they did nothing, literally, the nurse took my symptoms down, Dr came in put down stethoscope, didn't talk to me, just said I'm constipated and to go home. I knew that was not the problem but she did not want to treat me I had to beg just to get blood and urine work done. They found "nothing wrong".

Now fast forward to 3 weeks ago. I went to the ER here with a strangulated hernia. They seen me right away and got me in a room and everything very quickly. Now first they intubated me with a long tube down my nose going into my stomach which was definitely the worst part of this whole experience mostly because they never even used it! But I won't hold it against them. After getting into my second room and prepped for surgery they saw right away from urine and blood work that I had gallstones and took me for more tests for those which sure enough I had several huge stones blocking my bowels. Back to the beginning of my review you can see these doctors here were very thoroughly and wanted to get me completely taken care of asap unlike that other hospital!

I was here for 4 days. My hubby and I were treated like Royalty by Every Single Person we encountered here! Words cannot express how wonderful this whole terrifying ordeal was!

Being in Memorial Herman in the woodlands was like being in a 5 star hotel! From the front door to the exit, the service was "PERFECT"! I can't think of anything that can be improved other than more parking!

I had an amazing experience here giving birth to my first baby in September. All of the nurses were so patient with me, and treated me with the best care possible. I would love to give a special shout out to one nurse who stood out the most to me, Aimee. She is absolutely incredible and although she didn't get to stay with me all night until I gave birth, I felt so incredibly comfortable and calm. She was amazing at explaining the entire process of inducing me... also the man that gave me an epidural (didn't catch his name) was so quick, and I felt NOTHING.. i swear he was done in 5 mins if that. Because of this, my birthing experience was so amazing and incredible.

I unfortunately went through postpartum Preclampsia and ended up admitted into the ICU at some point. I was really scared, and thought I was dying. The overnight ICU RN Braedyn, took such great care of me. Anything I possibly needed help with, she was quick to be there for me. She even kept my water jug full at all times and sometimes did it without asking. Whenever I finally got some sleep, she was so quiet I didn't even know she was there half the time, and if I got woken up she was so quick that I would fall back asleep immediately. I am Just overall impressed with the hospital in general. This is a great hospital and if I ever have to end up back in here, I wouldn't be scared at all because of the nurses I had.
Amazing hospital!

We have been to all the big hospitals in town this year for one traumatic experience after another with different family members.
All of them have been horrible. Staff that don't care about anything, nurses that are never around and don't respond to call buttons. "specialists" that miss the most basic things.

To be blunt, we had one family member that was killed by hospital negligence last year. I have been scared to death to EVER have to go to a hospital in Houston because of what we have seen.

We have NEVER had an experience like we are receiving at Hermann Woodlands right now. Everyone from the doctors to the janitors is a level above all the other hospitals. Doesn't matter if it is day or night shift, they are on their game.

Not only are we so thankful for the experience we are having now, it is such a blessing to know we have somewhere to go in the future should the need arise.

Thank you Memorial Herman Woodlands! You have something special going on.

Just had surgery here on 8/7 and this is by far the best hospital I’ve ever had care at. My surgery was so intense that I needed to stay in the ICU the first 4 days, my nurses were so wonderful! Emily Sitton, Emily Usher, Kadi Campbell, Hannah Morales, and Alexa (I forgot her last name, sorry!) thank you ladies so much! Not only were my nurses wonderful, the attention to cleanliness was a 10 out of 10. Housekeeping came once a day to make sure everything was spotless. Food was also good too! I have celiac disease so I was definitely stressed when it came to that but they took it super seriously and nothing I ate made me sick. I also got options when it came to my meals which was a nice suprise. If your insurance covers you at this hospital for anything- go here!

The Outpatient Testing department is very clean, and efficient. I had two tests completed within 20 minutes of walking through the front door.

I could not have asked for a better hospital experience. It truly was exceptional! Thank you Karen, Catherine, Becky, Kristin, Anita, Debbie, Felan, Kat, Kayla, and Chris. Dr Chavez and his people. The care givers were awesome! They loved their job and that translated to me. From the waiting room to my discharge- it went smoothly and timely. Thank you for your exceptional care and kindness!

This is a month late, but when you have a newborn, it’s hard to get time to finish that to-do list! We delivered on 10/7/22 - and we’re admitted on 10/05/22. The nursing staff were AMAZING! From the moment I walked in to the day we left we had nothing but amazing nurses and staff which took care of us. Shout out to:
**Emily (pregnant but still took care of business) - always had a smile on her face and was comforting and supportive!
**Melissa! Our night nurse- simply wonderful and she loved crafts which we talked about and took my mind off of being anxious.
**Irma (the baby whisperer) - what a beautiful person. She was welcoming and encouraging the whole time - we loved her so much!
**Carol- this lady was like a mom- always checking in and had a smile on her face. She was also always loving and kind.
Our other nurses and staff which did amazing - Ashley K.-Susanne Lammers-Leanne P.
Thank you so much for making our first birthing experience wonderful and stress free.

I've been here multiple times for prenatal appointments, my son was born here via emergency c section. Most recently I visited the emergency room which ended up in a multiple night stay and major surgery to remove a mass from my abdomen. The level of care I received has always been great. I always try to be kind to whoever is treating me, but even while in the worst pain of my life in the ER, they still treated me with respect.

Had a myectomy and had to stay overnight. From the Anesthesia team to the nurses, everyone was really helpful, kind, and informative. They answered all my questions with kindness and honesty, and helped me through the most painful night of my life while I recovered. The facilities were nice, clean, updated, and convenient. The extra bed for my husband to sleep over was actually big enough (he's 6'1"). The nurses were very responsive, but I admit that my floor was quite empty during my stay. My only wish is that someone would have told me about the pain I was about to experience at night from an abdominal surgery (due to gas buildup), and I wish the food was better, but hey, what hospital has good food? I felt safe and cared for.
