Nora's Tacos

Quick stop as I was passing thru town. Friends had recommended this place, but meal timing was always off. Glad I did stop in this time. I believe I was even served by Ms Nora herself.

My husband and I came in today to have some breakfast tacos. The service was timely, tacos were delicious, and the inside of the restaurant was so beautiful. The restrooms are very neatly made and well kept. 10/10 recommend! :)

I drove here late on a Friday for some variety because I had been eating at the same place all week.

Inside was very nice and the waitress was exceptional. She brought my drink plus the chips & salsa right out. The chips are a very thick variety but were tasty. They were a nice change from the "usualness" you get from most Mexican restaurants. The salsa was a mild green sauce that also stood out from the crowd of tomato based salsas.

This was my first time here and the waitress wasn't hesitant to make suggestions about what to try. I decided on the Beef Fajita Nachos. She even suggested I get half an order because the plate was so large...I didn't listen. LOL 😂 I figured if I didn't eat them all, I could take the rest home. They were great but I thought the beef could have been more tender and tastier.

I even got an excellent piece of carrot cake to go.

Would I go back? That is a definite yes! This is a special place. 😊

First time here, I’ll definitely come back.
I had the Julio’s Special and it was very good.
Also the hot sauce/salsa is homemade and has a great taste and kick and doesn’t overwhelm the flavor of the taco.

Delicious hot fresh breakfast tacos. Very hearty and filling. Good strong coffee

Anytime I drive thru Sabinal, Texas, this is a must stop. I was disappointed they didn't have any brisket when I stopped in this morning. That's my To Go to taco . Great tasting food. Looking forward to it soon. I'll be stopping in tomorrow morning again hopefully some brisket is available for tacos and Avacados umm-umm

Delicious breakfast tacos! I ordered a potato egg bacon cheese taco and a bean chorizo and cheese taco and they were huge! I’m 6’4 and a heavy guy but these filled me up for the rest of the day! They may even be so big that you can share a taco! Very good if your in that part of the woods!

Nora's taco has over the top tacos and burritos at great prices. Happiness in a "to-go bag". This is a must stop on old highway US90 in Sabine, Texas. Come on now, how do you give an iconic and little mom and pop taco shop like Nora's less than five. Most days Nora still works the window. Great stop and eat or take and go road food. Three trips from California and stops to Nora's on way to Texas Hill Country and not disappointed.

Don't be deceived by the outside of this taco shack. I was pleasently surprised with these massive and delicious tacos (with homemade tortillas). Top 5 best breakfast tacos in Texas..

Always a delight coming to Nora's. Food is Great, and the Owner and her staff are kind and friendly.

Great food and service. Very clean. Stopped in on the way to Houston and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I highly recommend.

The food, environmen and service was all very good. The owner's were very accommodating for our 3 year old. It was after 11:00 AM, past breakfast, and they made him a piece of sausage. My husband got fajitas tacos and he said it was excellent. I ordered a special taco,
off the menu, and again even though it was after breakfast they checked and made me a taco that had potatoes. They were so friendly and nice.

It used to be a small stand, but now they have a nice restaurant at the back,and there food is great,they have pretty much everything:great breakfast, lunch and dinner: fish,chicken, fajitas,enchiladas, tostadas,shrimp and more great place try it you won't be disappointed, now is my stop and go place!!! Thumbs up!!

Wow! I had their barbacoa Taco, one taco is more than enough for me! Food was tasty & fresh! Service was great! We ordered ahead of time so we didn't wait long. I also tasted their carrot cake & it was delicious! It's made with real carrots! I could eat a whole slice (their portions are big)but I didn't!

Absolutely made our day better ! Awesome food and even better staff. After a mistake was made with my credit card and it was given to the wrong person over an hour away in Lost Maples we found our way to Sabinal to pick it up from the honest person that had it handed to them by mistake.
We had no plans of going to Sabinal but found ourselves there 2 1/2 hours after my lunchtime and I was hangry.
I ordered a half order of the fajita nachos and they were out of the fajita meat (they cooked more even though the lunch hour was over and I told them just to give me the chicken it was fine.) The food was way more than I could eat and wonderful.
My wife ordered the mini tacos and they were great as well. I think we will try to make it by there on our way home to try their breakfast tacos, their menu is out of this world ! (My husband wrote this and I 100% agree :) )
