La Cienega Mexican Food

Stopped by on the way to work to grab a burrito to go. Fast service and a BIG burrito that is delicious as always! Can’t beat Martha’s burritos.

It was our first time tonight and we will definitely be back! Everything was so delicious and fresh you can tell they cook with love. The only thing we didn’t like was that the extra tortillas were $1.89 per tortilla that’s pretty expensive.

My friend and I decided on La Cienega for supper. We were not disappointed! Brandi was our server. She was very friendly and attentive! We both got Loaded Sopapillas. So yummy! Great chips and salsa! Highly recommend! I was so hungry and had already eaten half of my sopapilla before I remembered to take a photo!

The food here was fantastic, the drinks were great, the people were super friendly, and all around this was a stellar restaurant. Four of us went, and all four of us loved it. I would absolutely recommend this place if you're staying in mineral wells.

Truly authentic Mexican food at it's best!! Even though my order wasn't the way that I ordered it; the food that I received was great. My takeout order wasn't exactly correct, but it was very tasty. I will be eating from here more often!
Enchilada dinner, beef, with queso sauce, beans, rice, tamale and queso, chips, sopapillos.

Loved this meal so much that I ordered the same thing the very next day and truly enjoyed every bite.

I’m not one to post reviews typically but we traveled 3 hours from commerce texas to have a little vacation and go to PK lake, we got to the hotel and I’m 6 months pregnant and STARVING the receptionist recommended for us to come here and I’m glad we did, I’m such a picky eater and I hate salsa but it’s been a craving so I tried it and I swear this is the best chips and salsa I’ve ever had, I had to take some to go! Our server Brittany was amazing! Very attentive, our drinks were never empty and my husband ordered a piña colada and I was visibly sad that I couldn’t have one due to the pregnancy and alcohol, Brittany and the owner went out of their way to offer and make me a virgin one and it was the freshest one I’ve ever had in my life! The pineapple garnish as well! It was super juicy, I ordered a plate with a taco, enchilada and tamale, and asked for double rice, I order tamales all the time when I go to Mexican restaurants and these were too tier! It was like someone was in the back making them from scratch as I placed the order, super fresh! Very soft and flavorful masa, everything was seasoned to perfection! I’d make the drive again just to come here because like I said it was so delicious!

Food is so good and the staff is great. Anytime I'm in Mineral Wells and it's open and I have time to eat there, I will go there. It's a new place and I wish them all the best!

Quick lunch while traveling with the Mrs. and what a surprise La Cienega.

I had Mitchies plate and it was amazing. Meat was tender and full of flavor. Mama had the chicken fajitas and she also said the flavor was amazing Great job!

Tried their brisket burrito and their build your own burrito. Both were outstanding! The bill was equally impressive! Every time we come here, we're given more reasons to come back. It's been a weekly thing for us since last year. Highly, highly recommend this place!

This morning I ordered some food from this restaurant and when got here the order was missing some stuff I called and they delivered the rest of it to me I just wanted to say thank you la cienega or taking pride in your work and making things right!

It's abundantly clear that the owner, Martha Cienega, takes great pride in offering authentic Mexican food at her namesake restaurant, since she's created all the restaurant's menu options from her homemade, personal recipes. We love hanging out on the patio with friends and family and sharing each other's plates! It's often we come away with a new favorite menu item. The experienced bartender is well-skilled in shaking up the perfect margarita! Highly recommend this place!

Great food, friendly staff. We've never been disappointed with the food or service here. Personally, I love the chile relleno. They offer an amazing variety, and it's truly authentic Mexican food. Martha and her staff do a great job...always!

Had another great experience. Our waitress, Sabrina went all out for us, asking for a slight modification of a menu item that was just the way momma makes it. Outstanding
