Food is absolutely delicious!! I've gotten the sampler twice with chicken wings, rack of ribs, and pulled pork. Also got cornbread, cowboy beans, Mac n Cheese and a mountain dew to go. So grateful this place is literally walking distance from the TA Truck Stop because I am an OTR truck driver and it is so nice to have a nice, big, REAL meal. Not all this garbage like Carl's Jr, McDonald's, Wendy's, etc.

Cornbread was perfect which I usually find places to have dried out cornbread, but not here. Ribs were melt off the bone delicious. Wings were yummy especially with the ranch. Mountain dew came from the older machines and was great not like those enemies machines that have like 50 drinks in them (I am not a fan of those btw). Mac n cheese is different....but in a good way. Cowboy beans have a sweeter side to them which I love because others I have tried at other places have a kick to them and I can't handle the spice like I used to be able to so that is nice. I do have some beautiful, delicious looking photos from the first time I ate the food from here. Nice, small town country western feel. Made sure I had silverware both times. Just all around great place!!! Will definitely remember and come back any time I pass through for work or just personal travel 🥰🙏🏻😋

Been wonderful both times and so grateful for my boyfriend who ordered this for me the first time because I was indecisive and tired and wasn't really wanting to even call to order, so he did and paid over the phone and told me when to head over. Thanks sweetie!!

Truck driver been stopping here anytime I pass the last 4 years. Never left a review but tonight was out of this world delicious. Maybe changed a cook not sure food was always great but tonight was phenomenal. Got the ribeye and broccoli and beans and got wings to go. Honey bbq and hot garlic. Asked for the wings fried hard and they was perfectly done. Steak medium rare and was cooked to perfection. Bartender and servers extremely friendly. Hands down best experience. No complaints go in and eat like a king. I eat all over the world check my account but only leave reviews on places I swear by. This place is epic . Thank you for a delicious experience and thank you for supporting truckers .

When I stopped for the night I didn’t realize there was a BBQ place across the truck stop. Glad I went in I sure needed a good hot meal. I ordered the bbq sampler plate. The ribs were the bomb! I had ribs, pulled pork, wings, corn bread, brown rice and green beans. The service was great! The food was great! I truly enjoyed everything. Definitely a must try!

Trucker here…I’m glad I decided to walk across the street. This is now saved in my Garmin for a place for me to stop. Jennifer was friendly, helpful, and very understanding. Some might say service wasn’t the best. She was the only one working the front. I was in no rush. She was a wonderful waitress. She was checking on people, getting food, drinks out to everyone, seating everyone that walked in. Just amazing. There is a TA across the road to park your rig and walk over. The price you pay is worth it. Better than any country pride, no offense. I will be back for sure. The ribs was a senior portion with 2 sides. I love some homemade chips, I couldn’t have the dipping sauce, but still fabulous. The chicken is deep fried, omg, this was delicious. No I didn’t eat all this, I had to take 95% to go with me. This is a gem I’m glad I found.

This place is amazing. Food, drinks,atmosphere all were great. Service with a smile. Onion rings were homemade. I go past here often and will be back soon to try more.

The building has gotten a nice new paint job, the interior is clean and comfortable with a casual atmosphere.
Our waitress from NC, was very friendly and sweet.
The food was good, fresh and well priced.
The bathrooms were very clean and nice country decor.

Stopped here when we got lost on a day trip to Pennsylvania and it was a pleasant surprise. The food was so good. Atmosphere was very warm and service was excellent. I had the pulled pork, beans, and Mac n cheese. My boyfriend had a burger with egg on it and cheese curds. Was all delicious!! Server was excellent and I dont remember her name. Would definitely come back here on another trip. Only thing weird I could say about it, is that it sits next to an adult toy store and a strip club.

Omg! Ok yall, I travel all over the country with my husband who's a trucker and this is by far the BEST BBQ we've had. It's even better than the multiple Texas bbq places we've been. We started with the pretzel bites with cheese sauce and it was so good! They were fresh and the cheese sauce actually had good flavor (this is a rarity more than you may think). Then we had the sampler platter with cowboy beans and Mac n cheese. They didn't over sauce the meats, that was by far the creamiest mac n cheese I've ever had, and who knew you could take several different kinds of beans and make them delicious!? The ribs were fall off the bone, the pulled pork was crazy salty and the chicken was so perfectly cooked it was literally melt in your mouth. We chose the corn bread over the rolls and they serve it with real butter and omg guys, my mamaw didn't make cornbread this good. We ended the meal with the brownie a la mode. As you can see, it's a huge home made brownie with a big ol scoop of ice cream and home made cool whip drizzled with chocolate syrup. The brownie was still hot in the center, the rim was crunchy but not rock solid while the center was almost lava like. It wasn't so sweet ya jaws hurt either. The waitress was sweet and on top of everything. My cup never went dry and that's awesome! I recommend everyone come here and try it! The atmosphere is great, the food is phenomenal and the staff is friendly. Come get some!

It has the service and quality of a well maintained chain but the feel of a local bar/restaurant. The staff was friendly.

Excellent food. the baby bakers are a welcoming change from the normal baked potato.

Huge portions, great prices! Awesome rustic decor. If you are hungry and want a good deal, you can't go wrong with Ruttenbucks! Just off I-70 near the West Virginia and Ohio border. Definitely give this place a try! I wasn't disappointed!

Ruttenbucks, a rustic themed bar and restaurant, within spitting distance of the Dallas Pike exit (exit 11) of Interstate 70, in West Virginia. Great, clean and well lit atmosphere, with fair prices and great food.

I had the 16 ounce steak, with shrimp, coleslaw and baby baked potatoes, as well as an order of pierogis. My wife had the 10 ounce steak with baby baked potatoes and cowboy beans. Everything was delicious, the steaks were tender, juicy and cooked just the way we ordered them, the potatoes were perfect, the beans very flavorful, and the perogies were to die for.

The adult beverages we ordered were strong, delicious, and extremely well priced. I really expected to pay more than double what they charged for my drink, and my wife's was priced a little lower than expected.

All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and plan to return soon. Oh, they also have a small gaming room with slot machines, but we didn't venture in there.

If you're hungry and passing through the Wheeling area, you can't go wrong with this establishment. Friendly, attentive staff, great food and fair prices.

Went in with a ten top, seated quickly, food all came quickly, drinks maintained well, games for the kids, relaxed atmosphere. Love this place. And ladies, even though it's by Jill's and called Ruttenbucks, don't be mislead, I've seen no male strippers there .. 🫤

Excellent on top of excellent!! Great waitress, great food. Portion size is good. Atmosphere is great! It’s a rarity to see pierogies on a menu. They are delicious! Sweet tea is fantastic! Fish sandwich was good. Homemade chips are tasty! The side salad was a little flat, needed more lettuce. (Pictured is a double order of pierogies) Ranch dressing is tasty! They said it perfect on the sign “damn good grub!”

I ordered a fillet medium rare and 2 blue moons. The fillet was cooked perfectly seasoned awesome. The blue moons came in a bottle with a empty glass with a orange slice. Overall great place to get some good food and to relax. Will be back again

I have nothing but good things to say about this place...been here twice and I will be back. The food was pretty darn good, so w as the service and whiskey selection. The 2nd time we had a reservation for dinner and our table was ready and waiting for us even when we arrived a little early.

Service was great. I ordered their wings with parmesan garlic sauce. It was the best parmesan garlic wings I've ever had. I also built my own burger and it was good, too.
For a truck driver, their location is perfect, right across from the TA. This will be my go to spot whenever I passing through and hungry.

The place is amazing the food is cooked to perfection and at a decent price for the food great table service and the waitress are all nice and friendly and check on you regularly to see if everything is ok I would highly recommend it to anyone if your in the general area
